Not for now, building have hitboxes like that to reduce loading times and lag. The more complicated the shape the longer it takes to load.

Hello, I don't know how abnormal it is but just in case it could help...

 

For the third time this week it seems that I accessed Tanki Online on html5... Indeed the browser don't ask me to allow flash. Also the loading screens and the URL I was redirected to were different. Note that the URL contains /html5/.

 

 

 

 

Once I enter the game, it works normaly but there are several minor differences. For exemple: a black text that changes over time on the top left, the format of some writings, etc... Probably the most important issue is that the battle viewed will have it's desciptions flicker inconsitantly. This is something that I have also sometimes on the normal format but usulay only when I have high PING. This makes it hard to enter the battle as it is near impossible to click on the Play button.

 

 

 

 

In a battle, the format of the texts are different and the notificatons are coloured according to the team that did the action.

 

 

 

 

 

Also during the battle, I noticed that the delay betweeen the key pressing and the game response were longer. The visuals where also a bit more choppy then usual, especially the kills and damage number.

 

When the window is smaller, the texts is invasive compared to usual. There is also some overlaps.

 

 

 

 

 

This happend on Windows7 using Chrome

To solve the issue I had to close all Chrome tabs and restart.

I've had a lot of issues playing Tanki with Edge and find it plays best with the official downloable client or Standalone Flash Player. Even Chrome has major issues with Flash as the tech is outdated.

Hurray, audio problem solved.  Fix:  Uninstalled automatic Windows 10 update KB4038806,which is described as security update to flash.

Your account might be hacked. Change your password and see if that solves the issue.

I am not sure what my ping is. Sometimes my ping is high or sometimes low.

 

I personally think that the developers must fix all bugs and technical problems before thinking on releasing updates. When the matchmaking system comes, it will be a new interface with a new way to play in battles where there are lots of players in the cue. Also, HTML5 will come out at the same time, so Tanki Online should be able to run faster when it is converted to HTML5. I am glad that flash is on its way out because it is too old.

Its impossible to completely eliminate all the bugs in a game. They are doing their best, but such issues as the one you described above may be due to your internet connection too, so it is possible it was your fault and not tanki's.

It doesn't have to cut for you to experience lag.

As ThirdOnion said, Riddler, you don't need to have your internet drop out to have lag. It could be low RAM on your computer, or maybe your FlashPlayer Cache has too much stored memory and it's causing your device to lag because it can't process all the data fast enough. 

There's an endless number of causes to lag and it's impossible to fix them all or to permanently remove lag from TO. ;~;
