Team Juggernaut in the game!

Why not make a mode where every player is juggernaut?

That would be an incredibly boring TDM/DM except every player takes 5x longer to kill making game-play extremely slow and monotone.

sounds like fun, but you need to have a good team to begin with , which most of the players don't have , not to mention that other team members would most likely want to be the juggernaut themselves , so instead of protecting the Juggernaut they would start sabotaging so they can become the next juggernaut , if there is a way to prevent players from sabotaging then its all good  :D .

I don't like the JGR set up and I don't like the idea of JGR missions.

 

Just imagine 1 Jug or both Jugs camping on top of their buildings in Brest, and you have Finish top 3 missions.

 

I think the only way to prevent boring campings would be for the Jugs to either have a limited unreplenishable life, or have a limited time before another player takes its place.

Hope it doesn't turn out like that, but I see your point. On the other hand there is 100 score points for the player who destroys the Juggernaut which might serve as a great incentive for players with finish first missions.

 

I did play a couple of battles in the test server and the impressions were good, even had Isidas following the Juggernaut around, we'll have to see what it turns out like on main servers.

JGR should not have DA/DD all the time. Double it's damage, health, and speed from what it is now (to make it equivalent) but it's sad to do half damage against the JGR. IMO it should be weaker in TJGR, because you want higher-scoring matches. 

 

By the way, will this be coming to PRO battles?

1. Please explain more how victory points work and how they affect experience and crystals?

 

2. In addition to that, will my experience points and hours played be transferred to the new team juggernaut mode?

Victory points are simply team scores, the same as number of flags in CTF or number of points in CP. 

 

Each destroyed Juggernaut is worth 1 point, the team with the most points win.

Tonight we all say goodbye to the Solo Juggernaut mode. This mode will make some occasional re-appearances as stated by developers, but the new Team Juggernaut mode will stay in Tanki Online forever.

Please move my earned experience points from the old Solo Juggernaut mode to the new Team Juggernaut mode. I want to keep my in-game juggernaut experience progress.

I don't want to lose my juggernaut progress, so please transfer it to the new Team Juggernaut mode.

You heard me.

So the Dictator should only give Overdrive charge (specifically in that game mode) as its Overdrive? The Dictator itself would be getting absolutely no benefit from its own Overdrive. That won't drive home peacefully with players. 

 

It makes sense to have the Juggernaut be a supply sharer in this mode. it's a big strong tank capable of defending its mates teammates. But that would leave Dictator with absolutely nothing for itself. 

 

What interests me is thinking that if your change comes to fruition, Dictator would be kind of like the Juggernaut's bodyguard. But really, Juggernaut's Overdrive charges in 40 seconds. One Overdrive from Dictator would only shave 20 seconds off, which is not much. It'll be good for defending one push but that's it, really.

Not bad , normal juggernaut better, its like David vs Goliath event.

Normal Juggernaut is better. :)  'Least don't have to deal with noobz sabotaging. But when making this team mode, here comes armies of sabotagers! :ph34r:

Agree. I like the old one better. But JGR mission.... um, that doesn't make tankers wanted to play JGR. :mellow:

First time playing the new Juggernaut mode.

Update: Ive played 5 matches so far and came up first for all of them, It must be my lucky day. I've been getting juggernaut 3 times a battle while others get it none.
