Team Juggernaut in the game!

The Striker hack is still out there. And it ruined a few battles I had in TJR. This one guy with Hunter +  Cyclone Striker had the no-laser-lock-on hack where they don't even need to be in sight of the enemy. Just peek around the corner and fire the missiles. What more? The guy had a speed hack enabled. We were unlucky that he then was chosen to be the Juggernaut. The guy was zipping all over the place and killing us. Fortunately, a Hunter Freeze on the team zapped him some time after and 5 of us jumped him immediately.

These hacks thoroughly ruin the battles.

I like the Team Juggernaut mode that I can never stop playing it. I never get bored of it. It's so amazing. Please add daily and weekly missions for the Team Juggernaut mode.

There are already daily missions for it in the game.

If I could choose the weapons placed on JUG... Maybe... but we can't, and I'm useless with Rail (have no interest in learning it) so the mode is not for me.

Aside from that... does not take away from fact that there are already too many battle modes. splits up the limit player pool too much and thus we end up with silly extra-wide rank bracket ranges. not good for the game.

Something like this should be in Pro-battles... like parkour is .

I'm not sure exactly how one becomes a Jug, I'll check the wiki later, but I think of you don't kill the Jug you won't be one if you don't want to. Instead you can attack other enemies or defend your team's Jug. If you become a Jug, even if you're not good with Rail, you can just run from enemies and shoot with Striker from a distance. Not dying is just as important as killing enemy Jug.

Does... does that mean you won't be posting juggernaut ideas every week anymore?  :o  ^_^

Someone's getting their hopes up. You know what happens when that happens.

When players are respawning, they can have a chance to become the Juggernaut depending on how far along they are:

For instance, if I died, and my camera is putting me to my spawn location, and the Juggernaut dies right at that time, and I am the only one respawning, the game will select me to be the Juggernaut there. You can become the Juggernaut right as your regular tank would plop down.

The player that is furthest to respawning (their tank plopping down) will be given the role if the team's Juggernaut dies in that time. So it is possible for anyone to be the Juggernaut at any moment your team's Juggernaut dies during their respawns, which is unfortunate for the people who don't like being the Juggernaut.

If all that flew over your head via subpar explanations, then just know that the main way to become the Juggernaut is to be respawning. I've had a few instances where a new Juggernaut took more than 8 seconds to spawn, leading me to believe that no Juggernaut will be selected if no one else dies during the Juggernaut's death. This is mostly unlikely given that there is always action and kills happening.

Some of the information here can change in the near future once I narrow down the results from different scenarios.

However somebody can just self- destruct if they don't want to be JUGGER, right?

If I remember correctly, self-destructing via the Delete button as the Juggernaut gives a point to the enemy team. I can confirm or deny this but I'd rather not sabotage my team like that.

What is confirmed though, is self-destructing via your own salvo's damage as the Juggernaut will give a point to the enemy team.

Correct.

Correct.

I feel like they should disable the self-destruct command when you're the Juggernaut somehow, if it's even possible. When everyone is familiar with the mode, you'll start to see more saboteurs that have learned what to do the be the most efficient at their work.

The idea with Jugs only changing hand when two tanks of the same team, one being the Jug, are destroyed at the same time is not good.

Both the Jug and another tank being destroyed at the same time happens few times in a battle, unless you're near the Jug. And that would mean Groups can keep the Jug for themselves if they want to, they just roam around together.

And if Jugs are also been given to the players with fastest connection then it's even worse.

I hope they don't make Jug missions based on being the Jug.

A moment ago, I was playing a juggernaut battle and the enemy juggernaut activated its overdrive next to my team's juggernaut and it went flying. Yes, it does fly. That's good.

I thought so at one point, but I had a battle where I was the first person placed on my team yet I didn't become the Juggernaut.

It's a team mode. 7 players on each team are there facing off and it will always have deaths going around. The change in Juggernauts is usually swift. About 3 seconds after one dies on average (from my experience).

I'm not sure if you slightly misunderstood a particular part of what I said but you don't have to die right as the Juggernaut dies. You just have to be furthest along in respawning when it dies.

Kindly explain why killing a juggernaut yields 100 points, while healing a juggernaut from 0 to 100% with support nanobots and possibly even viking OD (I probably healed the poor guy to full twice in a row under fire) gives 12. This makes it worthless for me to heal the juggernaut and play objective. Why should I be the juggernaut's personal health supply if I end up last in the scoreboard with likely not even a star to my name.

Another noteworthy thing is that you get a lot of Overdrive charge for killing the Juggernaut. So Vikings are even more lethal to the Juggernaut.

A Wasp should have its bomb ready upon respawn if it kills the Juggernaut with its bomb. I need to see the exact %s though. And I need to see if you get Overdrive charge during Vikings Overdrive if you kill it then. That may answer why I see so many Vikings up in the Legend ranks.

If you were unable to kill the Juggernaut, you get 30 points for an assist.

Yeah, you might as well use titan since it can do the same thing but for 20 seconds.

Well TDM is low on my played list.  This would go at the bottom.  Hard Pass.

This "mode" should be placed in Pro-Battles.  We already have enough waiting times as it is.  Would not be surprised if they widen rank-spread to 12 to accommodate this.
