Isida problem with healing

Yesterday, I have discovered that Isida's healing does not give any experience points. When using Isida to heal any team mates, including juggernaut, Isida does not give any experience points. That is a problem to healing Isidas. Even when using the nanobot alteration that increases the speed rate at which Isida can heal, it does not help Isida players earn experience points for healing.

 

The good news is when destroying enemies with Isida, I do get experience points, which is logical.

 

For each unit of healing, Isida must give 1 XP point like it did in the past. I am not saying the Isida's healing power is too low or high, but saying that it does not give any experience points to the healer Isida.

 

Something must be done about that.

 

It is now four years since I first played Tanki Online. For the first two years, I have used Isida for healing team mates every day and never had any problems with earning experience points when healing team mates. Thanks to Isida that I have managed to get from Recruit to Generalissimo, two years ago.

 

This is a bug.

 

Please fix the experience problems with Isida.

I just tested it, and there's no issue. Please check again, carefully. It's possible that EXP isn't given in specific situations, in which case you need to explain exactly what causes EXP to not be given. If I remember correctly, there used to be (or still is) a bug where you don't get healing EXP if you or your teammate dies before you finish healing, so it's possible that that's what happened to you.

You dont get xp from armor points lost due to self damage. Most likely and the only possible reason

Is it EXP you're talking about or score

 

I sometimes get no score but get EXP from healing the Juggernaut 2-4 ticks.

They fixed it back with the Incendiary Band problem. The good thing was that the IB users plummeted since then. 

 

 

If I remember correctly, there used to be (or still is) a bug where you don't get healing EXP if you or your teammate dies before you finish healing, so it's possible that that's what happened to you.

Yes, it is a bug. I do admit it. That's 100% true. When I heal team mates with Isida I don't get any experience points. I am not talking about the battle score, but experience points. Anyway, when I don't get any experience for healing team mates with Isida, I don't get any score at all, so overall, my score does not go up.

 

Also, when healing constantly firing Vulcans that takes self damage, I don't get experience anymore. That is not fair. I remember in the past, Isida used to give experience points for Vulcans or other turrets that suffered self damage. The self damage healing experience points gain must return as well.

 

Maf, is right. There is also a bug which causes Isida to not give experience points when my team mate dies or when I die. That is a bug.

 

Please fix all the bugs with Isida and return the self damage healing points and experience.

You're making it seem like you don't get any experience with Isida at all. Is that the case, or is it only in certain situations?

 

TheCongoSpider explained it fairly well in the post he linked. In order to prevent power-levelling and easy EXP farming, you no longer receive experience from healing teammates who lost health due to self-damage. This is to prevent a common power-levelling tactic, where one player constantly shoots a nearby wall to take damage and an Isida heals them for free EXP. Same applies to Vulcans taking overheating damage - healing them has now been made unprofitable for Isidas, in order to remove an easy way to farm experience and to discourage use of the powerful Incendiary Band alteration. Removing this exploit is the opposite of unfair.

I'm pretty sure you need to heal at least a certain amount of the player's health before you receive any exp at all, possibly around 20% minimum heal for 1 exp. Not too sure on the exact stats.

According to a reply above, you get the missing EXP as soon as you heal someone upon respawn.

What's the point in isidas healing ability anymore? It's no longer unique since titans dome is now more efficient at it and can even do better.

Well Isidas can heal at any point they like in almost the same radius as Titan. They don't need to have an Overdrive in order to heal and they can use any hull they want. Domes last for 20 seconds but Isida lasts forever, at least until they change equipment. 

 

I can argue that there is no point to double damage as Viking's Overdrive already does that with the majority of turrets.

It would be great if Titan domes could give experience points when healing team mates including the Titan itself who activated the dome. I would like that implemented as the next update. Titan's healing dome gives XP.

Yeah but isida can't heal continuously for 20 seconds, but titans dome can. Once the isida gets killed, then the healing stops and it's teammate that it was healing becomes vulnerable, while the only way to stop the dome from healing is to use hunter and go up to it and activate OD, which is mostly easier said than done. The dome can heal multiple allies at the same time while isida can only heal one at a time.

 

Titans dome may need to activate OD to function, but it can be manipulated so that it can be activated throughout the whole battle.

 

So really, titans dome does a better job at keeping its team alive than isida can.

Can be too OP, because if a team dome is at a gold box drop zone, the gold is dropping, and 5 out of 7 of your teammates are nearly dead, you hit space bar and farm XP.

I know that the dome can heal multiple allies at the same time, but that does not matter if everyone in the dome earn XP because Titan's dome can only be used 2 to 3 times in a matchmaking battle.

Maybe, but it can be manipulated in such a way that it could literally last the whole entire battle.

Yeah but isida can't heal continuously for 20 seconds, but titans dome can. 

On the other hand, Isida doesn't get permanently shut down by Hunter's OD, and it can actually heal for 20 seconds with the support nanobots alteration. Also, it can heal while on the move, whereas the dome is stationary.

More than one titan, having a dictator or two, or controlling the Nuclear supply drop area, or a combination or all of these things.

That would take some massive coordination in an MM battle, if the team can manage to pull it off then I guess they fully deserve it. :p

No coordination needed except dictator sharing OD. It's more of a no brainer. Check they don't even need to use it all the time, just when their hp falls below half of their max.

It'll have to be a lot more than that.

 

Team needs to control the nuclear drop.

At least two Titans

At least three Dictators

ODs need to activated at the correct times.

 

The order would have to go something like this, I havent calculated the exact duration:


 

Battle begins > Dictator picks up Nuclear and activates it for all Titans (Dictators are immune)

 

Titan1 & 2 do a few kills to reach 100% > Titan1 activates dome 

 

20 Sec later Titan2 activates dome

 

20 Sec later Dictator 1 and 2 activate OD so both Titans are instantly at 100% (assuming they managed 100% in 40 sec which is impossible)

 

Both Titan's domes are out after 40 sec, by this time we assume Dictator3 has enough kills for 100%

 

Dictator3 activates OD for both Titans, they get kills to reach 100% and activate 40 sec worth of domes.

 

Now the second Nuclear supply has fallen, repeat.


 

With this example you would need at least 5 players coordinating in a Discord call with everything going perfectly right assuming the enemy team hasn't left because you are too powerful.

 

My point is this is near impossible in the real world. There would be long gaps while the Dictators and Titans charge up.

Discord calling would be more guaranteed to secure the win, but it's not necessarily needed. For titans dome you just need to look around and perfect timing.
