Annoying teammates when you're Juggernaut!

Not good news... I've been playing couple games of Juggernaut mode, and some of these guys keep sticking to me when I'm Juggernaut, or pushing/blocking me, making me miss every shots, so the solution is also not the best because if you attack without your teammates (since you're fast) you will die quickly because of the numerous enemies that you're facing.

Did you get those "annoying" teammates too??

Are you one of them? Please tell me why you're doing it.

 

Also Tanki, find a solution to this.

They do it so that if a Striker/Magnum etc kills you as a Juggernaut they die as well thus becoming the next Juggernaut.

I've played that mode few times and I also faced this problem. There was always one or two teammates who were following and blocking my way and they never even cared to fire at the enemy who was attacking me. It's so annoying, then I realized what they're up to. They actually want you die along with them so they can become next Juggernaut. Pretty lame though.

I don't think it's a developers problem, it's more related to players gaming ethics, which is going from bad to worse. No matter what solution developers bring these players will find loopholes and abuse it.

Exactly this, you don't want to know how many times i randomly end up on top of teammates that are pushing me, which makes me self-destruct. Juggernaut is fun but I think there are still things to be done.

I've fallen victim to some saboteurs in a few battles but it generally ceased after that. I stick close to my Juggernaut, only because I'm their healer. I try to stick close because some of them like to Initial-D - Deja Vu me and just run away to another spot in the map and I'm there with my slow self trying to catch up while they're eating the Viking-Overdriven Railgun shots coming from the enemy base.

Unfortunately, that's not always a guaranteed Juggernaut spawn but it doesn't hurt them to try if the only thing they focus on is becoming the Juggernaut.

I think having the next respawning player become the Juggernaut isnt a good idea in the first place, developers did think to disable self destruct respawns but still, its open to a few exploits.

 

Perhaps a randomised system would turn out better. Cannot think of any other options.

On my KillerDiesel account I had an embarrassing moment where I kept shooting at my teams jug thinking it was an enemy. How this happened was I was in the same color team for 3 or so battles in a row and grew accustomed to it. But when eventually I was put on a different colored team, that's when the whole mess started. Thankfully it wasn't long before I realized what happened and I stopped attacking my teams jug.

I am not sure if there will be any action against these players if we vote them in battles. But I believe they deserve a treatment.

I had one bothering me once, he was a wasp freeze, not sure what he wanted, but I pushed him back quite a few time then he gave up.

If you think the situation is bad, tell him you will use the vote option. If he do not back off do it and ask your teammates to do so. There is a possibility that he will stop. In the small possibility of a battle mode coming, he will judge the situation.

Same. They are trying to get you both killed so they can be the Jug.

 

I don't know if they just want to be the Jug or if they are also sabotaging to help the other team. I haven't died because of them yet, so I don't know if these are the same that when they become the Jug they basically go get killed.

 

But there's something interesting, other modes are better now, looks like the cheaters like TJug too.

 

I actually felt tired of TJug yesterday and when to play Rugby... it was like returning to better times.

Today seems worse, I got killed because of one of these pushers, but he didn't become the Jug because I moved away from him before I got killed and he didn't get killed, then I quit, why stay with these clown in my team. Joined 2 more TJug battles where I was on the lower ranks of the long rank brackets, I also quit those 2 battles.

 

The person that got me killed started fighting with those that killed me, so in this case it wasn't a saboteur.

 

Then joined 1 RGB battle... and that's it for today.

Next time, video it and send it to one of the battle mods, like @Mr.Kenan or @Yele, and their accounts will get banned. (Hopefully)

Yup this kind of behaviour makes me mad, but it's simply the attitude issue with some players. If they keep sticking around you, try using them as cover from enemy fire lol ... And if you see this happening on the enemy team, kill them first before killing the enemy Jug, since they're so desperate to be killed :) ...
