The next V-Log 227 is in two weeks. That's a long time to wait.

The new game mode that's in the works is called Siege. Just thing of the Steven Seagal movies, "Under Siege".

You should keep in mind that we're doing regular Discount Weekends too  :)

Multiple smaller discounts don't help in buying big-ticket items since you can't combine that 25% ... + 25%   for 1 purchase.

Agree, we don't need 25% on all weekend but 50% twice a year.

Another boring ... get your mammoths and lifeguard drones ready

Titans and wasp too. Remember Wasp NUKE remove the Mammoths protection. "After the bomb explodes any Mammoth's overdrive within range will be deactivated."

If 2 N2-Bomb explode in succession, mammoth + lifeguard survival will be very low and they will definitely not survive the meteorite explosion.

Do you want no discounts during Special Weekends? Or do you want 50%?

How about 100%? Do you want 100%?

I would like to a number of those "Special Weekends" replaced with 1 or 2 more 40% to 50% sales.

Trade them off at 2 or 3 to 1, or whatever.  As I said, the smaller discounts don't help as much on big-ticket items like m3 modules (which will still cost you a mint to MU)

u can get 100% discounts through MUing - the next modification, aka M-level, will be free. (100% discount)

It's not a 100% discount if you paid for those MUs... don't recall seeing any "Free-MUs" weekends...

Well, the HTML5 version of Tanki Online has been out for quite some time now. I thought that the Ares hover hull would be released in the next two weeks when Halloween 2019 starts.

Woah there. Why would you use the cure and not the disease?

Cause the cure is fast. Once the fatso dead, the faster rush for the gold.

I like the way you think. I'd've done that the last time if I my Wasp wasn't M0 and my Mammoth wasn't (luckily) M2.

But pure mind the other disease called hunter.

Funny, because I call Hunter the cure since it generally counters Overdrives.

So did I, but wouldn't that be unfair for Flash players? Many people prefer Flash over HTML5, mainly becuase of the interface. Adding Ares to the Flash version would be very toguh, becuase they'd have to make it from scratch. Besides, making such a hull would be very difficult in the Flash version, while it's much easier in the HTML5 becuase it is a lot more flexible and has an advanced game engine, which is the main reason why Ares was created in the HTML5 version. I'm open to discuss anything with you.

I am glad to hear that you are open to discuss anything with me. That is Tanki Online discussions.

I know that if that Ares hull were to be released now it would have to be created from scratch all over again. Developers already said that. I am aware and know that the Ares hull is more flexible in the HTML5 version of Tanki Online. That's why developers only make it for the HTML5 version of Tanki Online.

I have given up playing the Flash version of Tanki Online since the release of HTML5 because the Flash version keeps crashing. I keep getting the "An error occurred" on the Flash version of Tanki Online. I never get any error at all with the HTML5 version of Tanki Online.

I would consider all players in the world to switch to the HTML5 version of the game because it is far superior and more stable. I agree that many players still like the Flash version of Tanki Online because of its interface, but the HTML5 interface will be improved as time passes by. More and more players over time will leave the Flash version of Tanki Online and move on to the HTML5 version of the game because of its dazzling performance. I would recommend all players to make the move to HTML5 because it is much more stable. Once you get used to it, then you will not complain about it. It only takes about three days to get to grips with the HTML5 version of Tanki Online.

Enjoy!

I'm glad we understand each other  ^_^ I have also swicthed to the HTML5 version some time ago. I can't return to Flash not becuase of the errors and bugs (maybe partially), but becuase of the new mouse control mechanics. In the HTML5 version inertia was removed from the mouse control mechanics, but it still exists in the Flash version. And it felt really weird when I "came back" to Flash.

I agree that players should migrate to the HTML5 version, for the same reasons you mentoined, dazzling performance and stability and glitchless and bugless performance.

I also believe that the interface will eventually get improved. We've already seen a few interface updates for the HTML5. I've also read on the forum that new "interface skins" will be released over time which will be buyable for real money. But that's only reskins. The main reason some people prefer the Flash interface over HTML5's is becuase of it's skin, but also because of it's accessibility. In the Flash version I can enter my Garage, and straight from it I could access my Friends menu, but also my Missions and Options menu. I could also check the Shop. And I could do all that from the Battles menu.Long story short, you had access to almost everything from almost everywhere. And in the HTML5 version all menus are completely separated and it's very... unaccessible. Except for Chat, of course. But I believe that the TO team will create a different version of the interface, which will be sort of like Flash's. But it most certainly shouldn't and won't be "buyable for real money", but rather be an option in the Options menu. I know that this would take a lot of work, but it'll for sure get added, sooner or later.

As I said, Im open for discussions. :)

That's good. Me too. I am glad that I understand you so good. I don't use the mouse to play Tanki Online. Instead, I use the keyboard because its much easier for me. Me too when going back to Flash, it looks and feels weird. From now on, I will always stick to the HTML5 version of Tanki Online. Its so much better.

The new skins are supposed to replace the old skins, but developers said that players will keep the ones they have in their garage forever, even after the switch update. The same thing will happen for turrets and hulls. Tanks will be remade from scratch but players will get to keep all of their purchased equipment after the release of the update.

I am so happy that you are open to discussions and that you co-operate with me so well.

It is not possible to release Ares while Flash version hasn't been discontinued yet.

I may be wrong but in my honest opinion, it is just a matter of habit. Plus many players prefer Flash as it has downloadable client.

Flash game-play feels way better than HTML.  My "efficiency" while using HTML version drops significantly.  Playing in HTML I feel like a recruit again... and not in a good way.

Plus I prefer the Flash interface... garage, buttons etc...  Too many "screens" in HTML... like TX was.  Not a fan.

I use Hunter and Mammoth, both of which have good Overdrives for catching meteorite golds. I personally don't mind if meteorite golds happen this Halloween.

I'm tempted to buy Hunter specifically for its OD, when used correctly its incredible for these things.
