In the Test Server, people should be able to equip items that are both Container-exclusive (Container-only Paints, Animated Paints, Shot Effects, XT skins, Prime ski s) and ultra rare items (Legacy skins, Bundle paints).

These items don't effect gameplay, so it won't cause any balance issues.

This ability will only stay on the Test Server.

Unless open testing specifically requires testing of skins and other cosmetics, there is no reason to make them available. The test server is the developers' testing tool, not a playground for players.

The server exists for testing new updates and usually operates in a state of private access (only developers and official testers have access to it). The only reason it gets opened to the public is so that it can be stress-tested, meaning a check to see if it still works well with 2000 people using it at the same time.

 

Coincidentally this also means that players are able to use any equipment they want on the test server, but this is to provide them an opportunity to fully test the new changes, which are usually related to gameplay. If a new update isn't gameplay-related, then test server accounts usually aren't given a high rank with millions of crystals since it isn't necessary to test the update.

It's not about enforcing anything, it's about setting expectations. Players are welcome to enter the server during open days, but they must realise that it's open for testing updates, while being able to play around with equipment and millions of crystals is just a side effect.

Yea the whole idea of test server is to test new features, unless there is a new feature with skins etc. its pointless work
