Booser drone = legalised cheating

You know the type - fully microupgraded booster drone and a flashy paint (which has been obtained by purchasing 100+ containers). As soon as they press 3 I know I am dead even with an M4 hull.

Seriously though, drones are meant to be OP based on the huge prices of purchase, upgrades and actual use. They're just another element that allows you to become more powerful in battle, just like protection modules, supplies and upgrades. You can counteract Booster though, at least using Overdrives, other drones (such as Defender), or simply evading the enemy and/or knocking off their aim for 3 seconds. It's powerful, but definitely not the most OP thing ever after it got nerfed.

Bruh! The booster drones effects lasts for only 3 seconds. Can't do much in 3 seconds.

Key word here is *used* to be overpowered. Now you can view it as a simple additional upgrade to your tank, nothing else. I'm more concerned about the defender drone and a few others actually.

some could say that's true, but if you think about it, you usually die to it either shaft, or one using Hornet Overdrive. So whats really OP? Hornet OD, but i guess you cant do much about it.

This reminds me of when people used to whine about the repair kit being "cheating". If you don't like the game, don't play. 

The game hasn't improved since then, only gotten more monotonous, anti-fun, and anti-strategy.

 

and IMO drones are completely useless and stupid, they provide a tiny advantage that's only noticeable so that you "need" it, and then you go to shop to buy more batteries. I find it funny when I go into battles without any drones and I stomp on all these noobs who are hopelessly addicted to something worthless...just like real life drugs if you ask me.

Defender beats booster 1-on-1 all day.  The recent cooldown changes (and unfortunately extra drugs consumed) have made both a lot stronger.

 

Everything does have a counter if you have it at your disposal.

Yeah, the Defender drone is 90,000 crystals, which for that low of a rank, could much more effectively be used on buying M2s, Micro-Upgrading equipment, etc. For this reason, I think it is fairly uncommon, and only the richest tankers typically use it at that rank.

Just tired of people assuming that exploits means hacks, which obviously they are two different things. The only thing that they have in common is that they are forms of cheating.
