This is my very first Siege battle that I have played and completed.

I like this game mode, but there is a small problem. The point takes too long to be captured by players, even if the whole team holds the point. It ended in a draw. Why does it takes so long to capture a point in the Siege game mode. That makes it almost impossible for players to win. Please make points load faster.

Siege is quite fun, played 2 games but learned a lot. Is not a made for any type of camping you have go up and contest the cap whether you get kills or not. Yell at any shafts or BP noobs you see hiding instead of helping.

Except I pick off dangerous enemies from the point, or enemies coming towards my allies on the point with their Overdrive. You expect a Shaft or a light hull with a one-and-done turret to be contesting the point when they get the most out of their turret's capabilities at mid-long range?

I don't like it. Except when you're with the Pro Team.

Campers and TDMers don't care about capturing Siege points.

I'm not going to get killed many times by trying to make my team win.

I'll just avoid Siege, like I avoid Assault.

Maybe merge Assault, Siege and CP.

Call it Pizza Mode

8 slices in a map. Could be less depending on map sizes

Anyone can pick it up

If you pick it up it becomes blue

Ii your team completes the 8 slices your team gets a point

And the pizza is delivered to the nearest Pizza God

Note that the more players from the same team on a point, the slower it captures. I find that an interesting mechanic.

So idea of battle is to capture a point.  There is only 1.  And team has 8 players.  But it goes slower if your teammates try to get in on action and actually score to.      What a dumb concept. 

 

Played some battles ... cuz... missions... seems pretty silly.

Got back, started playing this new mode called Siege, kinda liked it cause it gives out crazy amounts of EXP due to all of the action... problem is that America's government happens to do things quicker than a team capturing a point in Siege.

 

Proposals:

1. Make the speed of the point proportional to the amount of teammates capturing it.

2. You can't drop a titan dome within the proximity of the point.

You think there is teamwork involved in CP? really? I think you never get campers who play only TDM in CP; rather moving their butts to capture points. Never saw team work in my team lol

Yeah, it would be interesting if all players were knowledgeable, but since we have many noobs and TDMers, it's not good.

I had to move away from the point many times to prevent incoming enemies and to help the point load faster, I ended last in one of those battles, with only one point.

In unbalanced teams it becomes impossible, because one is capping and the rest are spawn killing.

I've tried a battle, and it seems pretty good so far. It quite challenging to capture a point, unless somebody doesn't really care about the point, which just makes it harder ? But yes, it is possible to get a nice amount of kills if you use a turret with splash damage, or just take it up with Viking's overdrive. Although it's not really easy do defend yourself from enemies becuase all you teammates are stuck up around you, so you're very likely to have your aim knocked off or destroying yourself ? Aaaaand, it's important to remember that someone will always run for the Nuclear Box, so the battle can get quite messy.

It doesn't take to long imo. I've finished a battle with my team winning 3:0, mainly becuase of teamwork, titan places their domes at points, no one playing like it's TDM, although most of the enemies were just sitting around waiting for kills. There were no Hunters, but I believe one could cause quite a mess.

 

Edit: I have played an  Assault battle nad I've noticed that the teams switched colors. The attackers team was blue, and the defenders were red. Is this an update or some sort of a gltich or bug?

Bring titans to your team > never ending domes. this is what I see now. I have stopped playing it.

 

Rename this mode to Game of Titans because its only for fat titan sitting n protection their tank kids. Will not play this boring mode again.

Now you'll say use hunter? lol .. Its useless there are 3-4 titans all time. n due to nerf of hunter OD, those allies titan will active dome again.

Have fun playing this sick mode.

So far I have enjoyed playing it.  I have been lucky and had a good mix of hulls/ODs but I could see where Titans could overpower this mode.  Viking's OD is very good for breaking up the group controlling the point...makes me like Viking again ?  If everyone on the team makes an effort to stay at the point and not wander, it is fun.  I have not seen two completely commuted teams yet...that might be a real mess.  So far all the battles I've played have been blow outs...all points on one side or the other.

 

The only real downside I see to this mode is more dilution of the player pool at any given time which will force MM to widen rank brackets in all modes and increase wait times in the off hours.  Right now it is very hard to enter a Rugby or ASL battle for a few hours around restart time.  Siege will just make this worse.  Since MM will be forced to widen rank brackets to fill battles, battles in all modes will become more difficult (at least for me since I ALWAYS seem to be the lowest ranked player in every battle).
