The others were ,yes, possible before the update, but theese 5 reasons show that titan WAS balanced before the update, and the nerf make the OD weak .

Titans od wasn't nerfed because it was stronger, it was nerfed because of siege.

In my idea, i wrote down what should dewelopers do to balance siege.

What do you mean?  A hornet-(insert close-range-turret) with DD and OD could have killed a Titan sitting in the dome.

 

You are only partially correct.  Dome was nerfed also because of spawn-killing. Setting up the Dome near enemy base with a few friends allowed that group to destroy enemies in their own base for extended periods.

 

I have a titan and use the dome all the tme.  It's not weak.  You just have to be more selective in it's use.  Fewer Titan-shafts will be dropping it in a corner of the map just to save themselves (and protect their all-important K/D).

1 before and after the nerf, hornets can easily shoot out everybody from the dome

2 hunter can deactivate it

3  mammoths can shoot out everybody from the dome

4 some smart dictators push out light hulls from the dome and kill it

5 close range turrets can shoot out everybody after the nerf 

Is that five reasons enough???

 

Titan's Overdrive is not weak. That protection is significant. We've been accustomed to the protection with the healing, that we didn't know how it would be without it. Well, now we know. The protection allows you to facetank a lot of stuff during those 20 seconds. As an example:

That was my HP after 4 Gauss sniping shots (XT Wasp at the bottom left of Point D). I did not have double armour when the Gauss was sniping me. I turned it on because my dome was ending and the Titan Twins started shooting me. Those Twins projectiles were the first 4 he shot at me so the Twins can be written off. 

You can still facetank a lot of damage even without the healing. I had my Viking teammate on 50% HP facetank a Viking-Overdriven Hammer in another battle (pretty sure he had some protection against Hammer). Viking Overdrives can still kill you and/or your teammates in the dome, but really the only ones of great danger are the LCR Railguns, Magnums and Hammers. Protection modules help a lot. 

 

And on top of that, you get to use your dome more often than before. An entire minute was shaved off of the passive charging time. 

 

All 5 of your reasons were achievable before the nerf. And for #4, I've done that to many players. The big problem with that is staying alive inside of the enemy's dome, You'd only do that if the dome was dropped with you neck-deep in an engagement with grouped enemies, which isn't the best idea for a lone Dictator to begin with.

Yes, they were. They had their own means to do so be it Viking or Hornet's Overdrive.

I don't think it made it weak. And I'm thankful that they increased the Overdrive charing rate rather than leave it the same. I would have complained if they left the charging rate the same.

This is still questionable as the developers did not give a reason for the nerf like they did for Mammoth during Halloween.

Let's cut to the chase... why do you need dome to give you healing when there are other sources of healing out there?

How is 90% damage reduction not enough?   Every OD needs counters.

 

You pop dome and face enemies that have no OD ... you are like a god.  The enemies without an OD probably can't scratch you much.

You pop a dome and face an enemy that also has OD - on more even ground.  What is the problem here?

Yes thats what I'm talking about ....

Its easier to count who can't shoot out the tank from the dome ??

Whats your opinion about idea 1), tankers?
