M2 hunter might have less hp than m2 viking, but don't forget that by the time you unlock m2 viking, your m2 hunter would have been micro upgraded to the point where it either has the same hp as Viking, or maybe even more.

 

Viking may have a slight top speed advantage over hunter, but hunter has better acceleration and turning speed. Hunter also has more weight and pushing power which makes it much more stable than Viking.

 

Also, you can rock the hull more easily with hunter than you can with Viking.

To me Hunter is far better than Viking. I always use it and it's handling and manoeuvrability feels far superior. Also Wasp>Hornet.

Short range:

 

Hornet>Wasp

Viking>Hunter>Dictator

 

Medium range:

 

Hornet=Wasp

Viking=Hunter=Dictator

 

Long range:

 

Hornet<Wasp

Viking<Hunter<Dictator

Wasp is too unstable and easy to flip.

True, true. I feel like I'm pretty advanced with Wasp, but I still struggle with flipping and getting knocked around by mines, bad textures and high impact turrets.

Make drug-free battles an option. I'm tired of being better than anyone else but simply not willing to pay for more drugs like these other low-lifes with their mother's credit card, resulting in myself or my team losing. Drugging is not a skill. If you want to determine who the better team is in a battle, it's the team that wins without having to whip out their mama's credit card and buy their way to victory.

So Maf, I have thought about a couple of interesting mechanics for the game. And I want to know what you think of them.

 

 

Bouncer:

 

Kinda like magnum except that the projectile is shot out at much slower speeds, deals much less damage, reloads much faster, much less impact force, the splash radium is about 7 m. But the biggest difference is that the projectile will bounce off of non tank surfaces, and explodes only a few seconds after stopping or comes within contact with enemy tanks.

 

Should it become an alteration for magnum or be a new turret?

 

 

Outburst (that's the best name I could think of for this)

 

Kinda similar to striker except it has no lock on feature. And splash damage is replaced by a new mechanism. So when the OG shell hits a surface, it breaks of into several smaller projectiles that deal less damage.

You can post ideas for the forum in a separate topic in I&S. We rarely get them, so there is no need for a category topic like that.

 

 

Both of them seem quite interesting and both could probably be new turrets. It doesn't really matter what I think of them personally. As long as they fit the rules, you can post them.

 

I generally don't like turrets with non-instant impact projectiles though.

You played 195+152+109+27=484 hours with Magnum, Striker, Ricochet and Twins, though. :P

I was forced to do it

 

Yeah, I know - a bit hypocritical. But I mostly used them because they were OP, or they have alterations which make the slow projectiles more bearable. Nowadays I'd only use those turrets when there's too many protections from Thunder.

My dear mods , i posted an idea a couple of days ago in i&s section and i got the message that it needs to be reviewed with mods

First , now am not sure if the idea was ever submitted to the mods by the system or it was submitted and it normally takes sometime to be reviewed.

Please advise and thanks in advance :) .

Hey - where's my suggestion for tagging groups - similar to the way Clans are tagged.

 

I see plenty of ideas getting the "Valid" sticker, but my suggestion gets the Jimmy Hoffa treatment?

 

 

We want transparency :angry:

When Ideas/suggestions get buried in a larger string - they often are forgotten.  :(

 

Unlike the ideas that remain on their own with a sticker... like.... "VALID"

I realise that ideas in larger topics are never looked at, but I also don't see the need to take up space with topics for minor ideas which don't generate much discussion anyway. And we always allow at least a few days for the idea to be discussed in its own topic before it gets merged into the bigger topic. Your idea went through the same process.

 

And @Hate does a great job at updating the first post of these category topics when he merges, so your idea is listed in the full list of MM ideas in the first post, along with many others.

For smoky, the colour effect could be for critical hits, maybe add Blue critical effect, purple, pink, etc: whatever ones you can do.

 

Make mines more visible, and for mines, a shot effect or exploding effect could be exploding :colour: out when triggered.

 

Decrease crystals for drugs, I always have to buy repair kit (150) and a shield (50) [added=200=] and most the time i dont even get the goldbox

I won't argue about it or try to brag about my skills with Wasp, but I feel like Wasp is the kind of hull which takes a lot of effort to master, but once you do, then it becomes superior with every turret, at any range.
