What about the players that have supported TO for just as long,whether by cash injections via the shop, to just actually supporting TO by playing every day and leaving for the most part credible, and at times excellent ideas in the relevant topics (via the forum) to improve either the mechanics of the game, or to improve the overall experience for the majority of players regardless if you are P2W or FTP. Normal players who have intelligent and unbiased ideas to help improve TO should be recognised also, by that i mean their ideas should be taken into consideration, and in some cases acted on in the spirit of dev/player collaboration, especially if the idea has actual merit and does not harm the economy adversely...... Guys if you think this a fair and reasonable request give it a like. 

Really good idea, @Hate @Marcus - Tanki did something for forumers in 2017 and in 2018 (see bottom of post).
Not sure if it was an idea from the MC himself and/or from Moraine (Ostrica) / Coopero, but selected forumers were done by the helpers.

Am on edge, but something keeps me in the game longer. Most likely it's the community itself.
Tanki was better back in the good old 15, 16 etc. The one thing that's making the game more and more dead is that the developers don't listen to the players.
- They added MM though many players complained about it even when the idea just came up.
- They removed Madness. Why? They have no idea.
- They removed old repair kit.
- They removed 'Product Kits'
- New overdrives aren't really all that good.
- They reduced the number of containers in weekly mission rewards.
- Mk Kits of later modifications are available at a very low rank.
- XP/BP only for Mk7's. (worst!)

I can go on and on. But this is enough to show how much the game has spoiled for the past 3, 4 years. ?

This is the state of Tanki Online:

1. Pony Tail Boy and the Devs totally ignore player input.

2, Inspite all of the great upgrades and new ideas implemented by the all knowing Pony Tail Boy and his Devs minions, the number of players continues to fall.         ( That's because most of their ideas and upgrades made the game suck)

3. Pony Tail Boy, the Devs and the owners are now in the squeezing the last bit of cash out of the remaining players mode.

4. The new latest and greatest addition to the game (Ares) is a failure and is attracting no new players and not helping much to retain current players. (It's just a lure to try and make you spend money....see point 3)

It's getting close to the bottom boys and girls so enjoy it while it lasts. Oh that's right according to the above poll almost 70% don't like the game much or hate it now. Doesn't sound like winning numbers to me.  So I correct myself ... You 30% of current players enjoy it while it lasts. Well that pretty much sums up the state of the game. Goodnight

I agree with you. No passion. Just like the community. Without buying the Battle Pass and actually try true free to play it is impossible. I'm just completely ignoring people who still thinks supplies aren't the problem. I am a radical, but nobody wants to listen, so what is the point? I feel that this topic is pretty useless and just a place to dump your thoughts. Hope it stays open though.

Going the way of Runescape.

Used to be a raw, midieval game, you ranged, you melee'd, you maged. Range would kill mage, mage would kill melee, melee would kill range. You fought revenants in the wilderness, you PK'd others for bullion, you joined clans to engage in epic battles, you sold your wares in the market to upgrade, or bought membership and went to member worlds to get even more cool stuff and you chilled by the lava pond and chatted.... then it went woop woop, alakazam bam, superduper mash buttons "its the NEW AND IMPROVED RUNESCAPE!" cartoonish stuff to appeal to 5 year olds.

Now we have machine gun snipers, refrigerator  freeze turrets that arent freeze turrets, glowy OD ghosties floating around, multiple one shot kills, floatie hulls yadda yadda....

And ya might have to buy a new comp to play it...

Runescape went into the abyss, because the purists hated it. Best of luck with this.

I like MAF suggestion that hornet OD only ignore defenders strongest protection.  If one strong one or two weak ones can still get a one-shot kill.  But if multiple layers, will damage but not immediately kill.  Seems like a nice balance.

But I suspect it will be some weak nerf like making it not able to generate OD% while OD is active, or bring duration down from 20 seconds to 15 seconds.  Combine these two and it's better than nothing.

Well, if I had to summarize the state of the game in one sentence, it would be this: Tanki is now nothing more than a playground for whales who use it to waste money by buying their bundles to get ridiculously powerful tanks that in tandem with drugs crush normal players.

Seriously, this is every battle in MM: You spawn in to your base being overrun by drugged up M4s. The flag is on its way to being delivered, and you can only watch helplessly as it moves farther and farther away. The Railgun-Hornet in front of you with his OD activated one-shots you through your spawn protection. 30 second pass, and the enemy team is back at it again. They sure are geared up for this, max supplies on every single one of them, red, brown, and yellow staring you in the face. What choice do you have if you wish to survive the onslaught? You press [2], then [4], and finally [3] before hapless dying to a barrage of Vulcan, Gauss, and Thunder bullets aimed at you. You're only in the mid-ranks with an average, if decent M2 combination, but for some reason the game has decided to put you in a match full of Marshals. They win 5-0, and you gleefully collect the 54 crystals you earned. Well done.

Did you think I meant 1) AND 2) ?

Or do you think 2) on it's own is bad?  (I don't think so at all - 15 seconds is still 2x what viking gets)

Current state of TO is still pathetic. html5 full of glitches, still can't go to garage without self destructing, still looks like a very bad animated cartoon, something a 5 year old would dream up. In fact a 5 year old could do a better job of the layout with crayons.  To gimmicky, no emphasis on actual gameplay. And they say it's better than flash, yeah ok whatever.

i meant no OD generation AND duration of 15 seconds. 5 seconds is a huge deal in any game LOL + no OD generation is leaning between a good nerf close to being harsh. I'd choose one of these options but not both. Both would make Hornet way less useful, might be even worse than Wasp. I am viewing this balance as supplies on, Drones off.

15 seconds is still 2x what viking gets and viking does not generate OD during it's 7 seconds.

Implementing only half of 2) is weak, and there's no chance it is weaker than wasp.  It can still one-shot fully protected targets - even those in the dome.  Wasp has to actually get inside the dome - huge difference.

Totally disagree it is being harsh.  If a hornet player struggles with 15 seconds of OD - well they kind of stink.

a hard increase of noobs players -- adding items can't be used without paying (some kits, drones, hull Augments) -- loss of old Gold players -- an extreme increase of players whose didn't turn their turret -- the game is dominated now by the noobs

missing old 2012 days , were videos are goods, when players were more socialists, were the rekt videos and clans and challenges, now the game been like play with robots no communicate no fun playing, no no nothing

out of all 3 reasons, i'd say the most probable is neither

they are mobile players, its hard to turn turret on mobile but i usually do atleast try and turn my turret when playing with phone.. but its definitely easier to simply not

basically they're noobs

they're small in age maybe less than 10 years, and with premium and OP equipment they ranked so up so fast

so that's the reason why they didn't talk in chat or interacting with the game, they just move with WASD and shot, without turning their turret and (for sure didn't use the camera view with Q and E),

but what's the problem ?? the problem is those players can rekt you all the time and you cannot even face him,,, why? for sure they are not more skilled than me

Imagine more than 8 years in the game, and some players maybe their ages less than my time in tanki and they kill me (( I don't mean anything I don't mean to insult,,, but this is the truth

Mults don't really need any reason to exist...

Most players that don't rotate their turret are mobile users. It's incredibly hard to shoot successfully while turning the turret on mobile, as the camera turns faster than the turret rotation speed. 

I think that noobs at higher ranks are mostly those who bought/obtained high ranked accounts from bored users or friends or siblings. 

Noobs ranking up fast is also a possibility... the recent experience boost might have helped. 

There is also another class of tankers, whose sole purpose is to annoy. They love mult-itasking. They are mostly found in Parkour battles, but they may also grace MM battles with their presence. 

Many times there are senseless buyers that just spend money without thinking too much, and don't really have any skill or strategizing ability, and they just play for their enjoyment. They have no idea about helping their team... they are just too ignorant! Ignorance is bliss indeed...

Anyway, the only way to not get overwhelmed by noobs is to improve ourselves... 

 

Disclaimer: I use the word noob for players who really don't understand what they're doing. (Those who understand the game, but don't have much experience or skill, and are learning, are also noobs like me, but this is not what I mean in the above text wall.)

actually most of what you say are wrong, firstly most players whose don't turn their turrets aren't mobile users. little proportion of tanki players play with their mobile phone,

I see most of them are using thunder + viking combination, and they just shoot forward and move 

also they aren't mults because mults didn't just play like newbies, No, mults are sabotage their teammates and hinders their movement + flip them also, and prevent them from capturing the flag,, those players whose the mults

btw, what ever reason we say, or what ever excuse we give, players whose playing with this way they shouldn't even with any situation rekt me,, why tanki make those players can dominate the game?? what ever situation or excuse he have (drink tea, weak keyboard, play in mobile version) he couldn't be can kill me, because he is play with bad playing.    I hope you understand, so when player from one of those can kill a pro player (like me), we know how is tanki didn't depend on skills (Idon't care about his excuse I just watch his playing)

Maybe I was wrong in saying 'most', but it's true that a significant population of Tanki players that don't turn their turret are mobile users. I am one of them. I might someday get used to it and start turning my turret effectively, but it'll take lot of time.

I do agree, that many non-turners of turret (I made that up, plis no booly) happen to be Thunder-Viking.  But I have seen even more non-turners with Fire-Wasp.

Not helping the team and not bothering to work towards achieving the objective of a game mode is sabotage, and can be considered multing.

I'm perplexed, however, by why you think that Tanki is helping noobs/mults to dominate matches. It is mostly OP equipment at lower ranks and plenty of supplies that let noobs dominate. This is basically buying. (But not all buyers are noobs. I have seen extremely skilled buyers as well.) Purchasable items need to exist to fund the game. 

So yeah, playing Tanki is not only dependent on skill. It also depends on factors like supplies and equipment. We really cannot do anything about it. 

But for this, Pro battles exist, where you can turn off supplies/augments/upgrades etc, so that you can play with skills alone. 

Btw, using supplies effectively is also a skill, and I admire druggers for it. They learn the skill faster due to abundance of supplies... ?‍♂️ while we take time.

Only trouble now is advanced equipment. Now this is also required to give buyers an edge over others! Why would they spend money on the game otherwise? 

Anyway, I got your point, but the hard truth is that buyers and druggers exist, and we need to improve our gameplay extraordinarily in order to equal/overcome them. There is no other way, as Tanki won't take any decisions that will reduce it's revenue.

The developers aren't bothered to try. If they actually put some thought and effort into the game, they could fix a few things at least. Maybe they're planning something that we don't know about but I doubt it. 

It's such a shame to see a great game break and crumble. I'm looking around the forum and there's negativity everywhere! It's terrible to see how many people feel angry and disappointed but I can't blame them. Tanki honestly deserves all the hate. I used to love this game and it still has a place in my heart however it doesn't deserve to be praised. I'm really hoping the game picks up because I don't want it to die like this.

I think they’re just people who are used to not turning their turrets. They may look a bit noobish and are lol but they’re not that bad.

I don’t think so. Most users who don’t turn their turrets have almost only one or a few combos they use so if they got those accounts from others they not likely to use the same combos always. Them ranking up fast due to the exp boost may also happen but since most of those guys have a lotta hours ingame and low kd ratio like this guy,

Of course bro, I respect your opinion, you are more experienced than me...

I learnt to turn my turret while I was a WO (idk which exactly lol)...

True, I've seen people get plenty of kills without turning their turrets, even in xp/bp!
