Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to measure some aspects of a player's effort or effect in game play. Take for example, a tanker who blocked the path of an enemy carrying the team's flag away. This tanker got blown up in the process going against multiple enemy tanks. Meanwhile, a teammate camping in the distant destroyed the flag carrier. There are other instances also. When in doubt, I now play for kills because that guarantees a share of the pot. A bad K/D ratio will almost guarantee you finish in the bottom of the pile with little to show for the effort.

Devs won't tell you how it's done exactly, but i no for a fact the more cry you earn compared to xp does help your efficiency.

That's how the cheat yarik and the only gizmo in the top 100 closing have such good ratings.

Their cry to ratio is massive, so much so yarik for deff is breaking the rules somehow, he once earned over 200,000 cry for no xp gained, i screened it but the devs took it down, for what reason i never ever found out.  

The double funds xp cry etc will do your rating no good whatsoever, which is why it will continue to fall the more you play. 

I pulled out all the stops about a year back to get into the top 100, just to see if i could manage it. This was before the ridiculous X ZILLION xp boost so i had a easier time of it. It was still a grind to achieve it but i did, and i made top 50.

This is why i can't stand players like the aforementioned two, i grind it out and play smart, these clowns break the rules (and they are) and are above me, an honest player doing it the right way, getting out done by these cheating morons.

I no ratings have no bearing on how good you are in battle, but i set out to achieve top 100 with this particular account when it was WO3.

I have never done it again as it is a real grind, and i wanted to see if i could manage it, was pleased when i did achieve it, and relieved when it was finally over.

GOOD LUCK on getting your ratings back on track.

This limitation makes no sense and only makes our job more difficult. If a post needs to be hidden, it must be hidden. If a single player spams dozens of useless posts, they must all be hidden and it doesn't matter which moderator does it. If you disagree about your post being removed, please message myself or @ControlledChaos via forum PM.

I mean in terms of "efficiency".

An isida healing the flag carrier is always killed first and can easily have a very low k/d.

It's just dumb to give that Isida a lower efficiency because of k/d.  Has no relevance to that tank - should not be a factor.

I want to agree with you. I've seen him before randomly get huge crystal boosts with little experience/hours played gain.

Can really only happen if you play exclusively Pro-battles with friends - defined roles like the Isida-Dictator with no supplies. Entire team gathers around you at 100% and the battle score shoots up.

In MM you could never achieve that on a consistent basis with all the random factors involved.

Efficiency will go up if you earn lots of crystals without earning a lot of xp.

I have seen Yarik in battle and he avoids getting killed or killing anyone. In fact he will leave and re-join the battle if he is about to be killed. Dictator and drones help a lot.

It's a useless stat that should be removed because they don't even use the efficiency stat to balance battles.

Must be Pro-battles if he's re-joining same battle.  Would have to be very lucky to rejoin same MM battle.

And sounds like a real noob - leaving a battle to avoid a death.  Games the system for something that in the end, means nothing.

Yes, I was going to ask where is Yrap_Cool. He disappeared from the ranking list a few months ago and he was closing in on Yarik. I thought he was a developer or an insider.  Anyways, I played with and against Yrap. Yrap always used isida dictator and played in assault. His GS was around 9600 at the time. I am not sure if the current efficiency calculation uses pro battles. Yarik has been stuck at the mid 97300 for awhile. If the idea is to get little experience for max crystals, some profiles are very obvious. Here is one way in pro battles to do this. You have your buddies/alt accounts rack up a huge pot. You join at the end, everybody leaves and you cap the last flag with nobody around. Wouldn't be that much fun though and what is the point? As for cheating or gaming the system, I am sure there are some holes, however minute.

If you refresh it puts you in same battle every time.

I've seen loads of these fools do it when i'm about to kill them, yarik what's his face does it all the time, proper lemon.

That takes your tank out and puts it back in?  Ohhh... have done that when I get a glitch in battle but never realized the mechanics of where my tank goes...

Ok, I think efficiency goes down a little when you lose a battle or leave one. That's my last explanation. So many players in battles are not doing the objectives, always making me lose, or leave.

 

Adding to the Efficiency Score conspiracy, #2 Blocked, is legit. He doesn't play anymore, but when Solo Juggernaut was around, he whooped butts always being JGR never getting killed. tbh, Blocked deserves to be in 1st, and TO rework the efficiency system.

Just noticed a Hopper in XP/BP. The devs could have added a separate format for XP/BP/Hopper. But no, forcing XP/BP players to deal with it and killing a player-created game mode is too important. Hopefully it can't be used in XP, but IDK for sure

 

Joining format battles with Hopper is unsportsmanlike. It is also a player's contribution to the game's death.

What if it is a bug, as in Russian, the letter H is X, so it would classify into the "X"P format??

Joking aside, it's either a bug or a hacker. In a formatted XP/BP battle, the game locks the garage and you must be using the Railgun turret with the Wasp or Hornet hull.

On test server I could join XP/BP with Hopper. I can't imagine how it could appear unless new hulls are allowed in all battles by default and they need to be then excluded individually in code, so it is most likely not a bug.

Did you try joining a format battle with the new hull?

Probably finally realized two things:

1) how bad the game has gotten.

2) how wrong he was in assuming that the players were leaving just for their simple selfish desires.

 

Probably just doesn't wanna admit it though. So he might just still complain about players leaving even though he knows he's wrong. 

 

Some people are like that. Stubborn to the end.

After reading the new "experiment" coming today, I honestly felt that it should've been in a separate game mode so players can purposely test it out. Doing it in live matches MM is just a hindrance to the average player. It will make many players angry

Also, does anybody have a clear explanation of what is changing? The main post rather confusing to me and many vital info I am trying to gather is missing.
