I feel that this experiment is good for new players. Battles feel better at 6v6, but the battle funds are just plain awful. You can no longer finish missions fast enough and the 50000 battle points mission is basically not even worth finishing. You will probably be grinding 2-3 hours a day if you just want 5 Ultra Containers. The meta has shifted to the short range turrets. 

Turrets I do not recommend playing in MM. Railgun, Vulcan, Thunder, Shaft. They are no longer viable turrets optimized in the small maps. Once again, I will say that they should leave the experiment as a special mode rather than taking over MM. I will continue playing and see if I change my mind. I will answer the 4 questions later when I feel like I have a clear judgement.

Im burning way too many repair kits. I want to petition to decrease the price of supplies, IF the experiment passes and becomes standard MM rules.

 

Playing a bit more, I have made my final opinion. 6 Minutes DO NOT WORK if the funds are so small. I finished a battle with 90 crystals and 0 stars in winning team third place. That is ridiculous

Everyone is spamming in General 1, "#RemoveThisUpdate", and I have to agree. Putting it into a standard MM people are fine with is a horrible idea. I find myself spending more supplies and having to buy more. The HP change is alright, need to get used to it.

Took my drone off for my first battle, really pleased i did. It put me in battle with half the time over, 1 battle less than 3 mins, VERDICT.. absolute pants.

As you can see half their team ran. Really not quite sure what the motives are yet behind this little experiment of the devs, but it's not working, feel sorry for the players that have to put up with this for 2 weeks. Solution.... DO MISSIONS THEN PARK UP FOR REST OF DAY.

As you can see their little itty bitty low ranker did really well.

I don't think i could get my G/S that low if i tried.

Again MM at it's finest.

I would not usually post such a naff result, but it highlights after JUST 1 BATTLE how monumentally bad this little test of the devs is.

They should scrap it asap.

My low rank acc, 2nd battle of today, VERDICT.....AS ABOVE. There team ran after we capped 3rd flag so i just went on a killing spree. Personally at these ranks i will do just fine, most will not.

Another account, slightly higher, results the same, it's quite clear this will not work.

3 different ranks, 3 useless battles, wasted supplies for little reward.  

2 flags capped and half there team left the battle.

3 accounts now parked up for the day quicker than i expected. Especially my main were it was a complete waste of time, sabotage, FLYING CHEATS, and half battles, nice 1 devs, any more bright ideas you wanna share with us.

Played more battles, and I have now changed my mind again. I liked the old MM standards much better. The tanks that blow up faster and even the p2w aspects. I felt the more chaotic battles are way more fun. Cuz I leave unfair battles anyways.

Did they add HP to the tanks to slow the game down?

And yet, at the same time they lower battle duration from 7 min to 5 min.   Boggles the mind.

If your playing Assault you don't even need 5 min.  Attackers win 70-15 in about 4 min. EVERY TIME.

Yeah screw that. I take a strategic shot with DD and everything and a hopper just shrugs it off. I forgot about the game decisions they make in tanki ?‍♂️

I will do a Win/Loss/Tied system to judge each question.

  • Yes, I felt there were less occasions I got spawn killed, but this is basically equivalent to the old system where I can just run and double armor first. : Loss
  • Well, the Overdrives and Drone use changed slightly. Defender Drones and Booster Drones just followed the exact same system. I thought the double health was good at first until I tried the long ranged turrets. I do not like this system and prefer old MM. : Loss
  • The team aspect is a 50-50 to me, and that is the simple truth. There are always those random players who never follow the objective of the mode and/or don't know how to turn the turret. So regardless 8v8, or 6v6, nothing has changed. : Tied
  • I feel this experiment is pretty useful for new players. It reminds me of the old tutorial where you are given Thunder and Viking and you are a star and one shot the NPCs. 6v6 matches in 6 minutes give new players time to learn the game and play battles for the first time. Just get rid of the double health and return the previous balance. Did it change my interest? For a brief instance, but not anymore. I preferred the old MM system because of the chaotic battles, which I consider more fun. I always leave battles if they are unfair anyways. For me, : Loss. For new players, its possibly a : Win.
  • Even though I do not like these changes and think it will provide another negative show to the game, if these changes DO stay, I'd say that the Funds and Missions need to be reworked AGAIN. The Challenge, Missions rework, right before the experiment felt much better and balance started to stabilize. However, because of this experiment, I find myself burning supplies way faster and managing them surprising got worse. Missions are way harder to complete, and I feel that these special missions are too hard, and one is IMPOSSIBLE to complete unless you are spending hours playing Tanki Online, which I think is ridiculous (the 50000 battle score one). Also with the lack of time in battles, the battle fund barely goes up. I am earning like no crystals and it feels like 2019 Tanki where getting crystals from battles suck. Needed changes: Battle Fund buff, Battle Score Buff, Decrease every hull HP by at least 1500 so the longer ranged turrets can provide more value again. Was this experiment useful? Honestly yes. Was it handled well? NO! Came out of nowhere and it should've been like its own mode. Polluting MM suddenly is just bad because players are not used to it. : Tied

Yet another team running, we went 2-0 up, 4 ran the other 2 were hard to find, except jug which we ganged up on and obliterated, yip nice update if your team does not run off. 

Quite pathetic really, can't understand those players who say the update is ok, as you can see, yet again i done ok but it really was not worth the batteries and supplies.

I'm lucky i have lots of drugs and batteries, but still it's not worth it for the meagre rewards you get even if you come top on winning team.

My verdict is still the same......it's pants.

Another raw deal the devs are giving us, very, very low battle points, my xp is at least triple in most battles compared to my score.

50,000 battle points is a joke especially at low ranks, to achieve this i will probs rank at least twice. just not gonna happen.

The devs fool a lot of players, usually the young kids and the gullible, 50,000 bp to rank quicker for less rewards, and you use (waste) supplies in the process.

Not surprising if you are the type of player who wants to complete these challenges, then you are going to come unstuck the higher you progress in rank if you can't keep up with your garage. 

Yet again this update is another way to generate cash.

My main is now retired until this FLYING CHEAT is either seriously nerfed are scrapped.

For one thing at legend rank it is so difficult to keep your rate of fire locked on due to it's wayward manner in how it moves, which in itself is OTT.

THE FLYING CHEAT can't be outdone in battle with normal combos, not unless you yourself adopt the same OP COMBO, even then it will only be a contest between the both of you who can dominate the battle with the most caps.

TO has hit new lows with this FLYING CHEAT along with this 2 week nonsense, it is just not worth the effort.

Laying mines is now null and void to, i saw a wasp shaft go over 2 sets of mines and it survived, now that is impossible.

And THE FLYING CHEAT seems to navigate over most of them, maybe setting off a couple which is just pathetic.

TO is no longer viable imo as a fun game were it's your skill against the enemies.

To many OP updates have ruined it, HORNETS OVERDRIVE FOR MONTHS, FLYING CHEAT, ( the new OP king of battles) and now this experiment, where a wasp can go over at least 4-5 mines and survive, how unbalanced and ridiculous can it get. 

I doubt the devs will ease off any time soon in their pursuit of making TO as unbalanced as they can, all in the knowledge that by doing so the P2W brigade will continue to take advantage of these updates and continue to out do anyone who can't follow suit.

For me it's the FLYING CHEAT that has made up my mind to discontinue my legend account, it's maxed out but has no effect on this OP HULL whatsoever with this 2 wk nonsense which has limited the type of maps you can now join.

At best i might win 1 out of every 5 encounters with this LEGAL CHEAT, at worst i waste supplies while this OP CHEAT just tramples over everything it comes up against.

Not much more to say about TO, all the pros and cons have been discussed into oblivion.

The cons outweigh the pros by a hefty margin and the devs (the magoos) never act on the feedback of the players.

Definition of a magoo........He was a cartoon character with short sighted vision.

Sums up the devs (magoos) to a T.

I personally don't like this rebalance. The battles for me are too short and the amount of players is too low which results in less kills for me and for each teammate. The game before this update was much more interesting and captivating for me. It would be awesome if you made TO the way it was before rebalance:) Thanks in advance;)

Does anyone know any tips and tricks on quickly completing the Minefield Special Mission? Task: Use 1000 Mines.

I don't want to use Dictator, and I do not think Magnum's Augment: Mortar, will work.

I will ignore ideas such as, "Pressing 5 on my keyboard" or, "Use a Mine every 30 seconds." Because that is standard and slow.
