With no speed ups well over 160.000 cry, with speed ups just shy of 500.000 cry.

And all your numbers from 1-7 make no difference whatsoever in real battle terms.

They are at best miniscule changes in the overall effectiveness of vulcan.

NO.5 does not change at all from 15/20 to 20/20

I had it maxed out on my main well before the devs got their grubby paws on it and nerfed it.

Matchmaking is nothing more than crystal mining. Finally when you use your crystals to upgrade your equipment tanki go and nerf it ?

PRO battles all the way now.

Hopper's nerf was significant enough. It is so slow without speed boost, its acceleration is so awkward, and its Overdrive doesn't come nearly as fast anymore. It's good because of its Overdrive. Otherwise, Hopper isn't very good. If you'd ask me, I think Viking or Titan's Overdrive needs a nerf.

Electromagnetic Salvo is counterable now. Equip some EMP Immunity, this Augment is so weak. Makes Gauss do little damage to you.

Many veteran players who use vulcan use Heat immunity. 

As for vulcan augments, IB is but a mild stepping stone, adrenaline vulcan is the way to go.

Now, if we look at mk7-20 vulcan, the dps is; unknown.png

That is a massive difference withint DPS. 250 Dps means a lot.

Now with IB, projectile speed is halfed, your average player can dodge most of these, and if they have heat immunity, which many have currently, it's an utter waste.

Now let's get to adrenaline, for simplicity, I will assume that we only get 15% buff from adrenaline, 800*1.15=920 dps. Plus your projectiles have no speed reduction, hence you are more likely to get hits on people who try to hide too.

Upgrades matter, especially when facing endgame players.

I hate to say so, but tanki has a crude way of rounding values up, it's very misleading.

Your current DPS is 760; yes it may not seem worth to upgrade it fully to get 800dps, just wait on sales and finish it.unknown.png

But I do suggest you try out adrenaline augment for vulcan, it's good to use, makes being on low hp more exciting.

Well, hard to say there, the vulcan meta stands from mainly having heat immunity on. I guess it may work without it, but you would need to ideally pause between shooting and then continue to avoid overburning to death.

But for sure, adrenaline augment on vulcan is very much underrated right now, but is becoming common eventually, people are enjoying it thanks to my advice, but those players have already had heat immunity on from bp's/conts they've earnt or purchased, I would have to test it out, but if you do get occasions to stop shooting to avoid overburning, then you will see benefits. Since a 70% augment sale just went, I suggest you wait for now, but if test server gets back up, head to it and test it out, I will in the next few days try using vulcan adrenaline without heat immunity, maybe heat resistence, or even nothing to see how it feels, if you have a specific hull you want me to use it on, do let me know.

When they nerfed vulcan they didn't bother to also nerf the amount of steps it takes to fully upgrade it, usual devious devs doing what they do best.

I'm gonna keep this discrete, unless you use round stabilization/ hyperspace rounds, you HAVE to max railgun to get 100% penetration. It is certainly worth it. Also the slight reload and charge time differences, can make quite a difference in a fast paced games.

There is ofc smaller gains for upgrading which cost a tonne, but the endgame is to have it maxed for the best potential output. Save crystals, only do 1 MU per sale, eventually you will be there.

I agree, but with vulcan you are upgrading for a lot of cry with no discernable gain.

I still maintain that 15/20 to 20/20 is a waste of cry.

Yeah, the gain will feel not worth for the crystals spent, so best action of plan is on every MU sale, just start 1 step up, 5 events of slightly reduced upgrades should be okay for u to max it slowly. MK7-20's are certainly very pricey unfortunately.

These bright screens are very off putting, i've already got rid of all the brightness while playing the game, it's so in your face and very ott.

They call it modern, i call it useless and not needed.

i dont mind the new theme, tho yeah, they should've let us change the theme whenever we wanted. They should think on the players POV (always).

I'm 90% sure those augments will be exclusive to Ultra Containers, or that they will be sold for Tankoins only. 

They might be available for crystals right now just because it's the Test Server.

I played with @MysticBlood on the test server. I do not have the complete details but here is what you can expect.*

  • Railgun Incendiary Rounds Augment. Slightly less damage, burns you.
  • Railgun Freezing Rounds Augment. Freezes you just like Cryo Rounds for Smoky. Damage is slightly reduced.
  • Railgun EMP Rounds Augment. Greatly reduced Damage. Just like Electromagnetic Salvo for Gauss, it will put your supplies into cooldown for 5 seconds. And unlike Smoky's chance or Gauss's lock on. Railgun will get the EMP every shot.
  • Railgun Stun Rounds Augment. Greatly reduced Damage. But unlike Smoky's chance, you will get stunned by this Augment for 3 WHOLE SECONDS EVERY SHOT! Making you completely unable to move if you don't have Stun Immunity.

Railgun HD. I don't like how its barrel recoils. In my opinion it looks goofy to see its nose go halfway into its base.

I also just noticed how Smoky's projectile can ricochet just like Vulcan without Rubberized Rounds, but it seems more restricted.
