In my opinion I see the competitors of EMP Gauss aren't the Augments you mentioned.. I see the EMP Gauss competitors are :

AP Magnum (disgustingly OP),   current EMP / Stun / AP Railguns,   AP Gauss / AP Freeze,  Vulcan IB.

Why I consider AP Augments more OP rather than EMP.

You can't find them. If you can, only Ultra Containers.

Just because you didn't buy more, does not mean others are the same.

There are lots of EMP gauss out there from buyers - I see them every battle.  And those that might only have it on some of their accounts are using it exclusively because it was/is OP.

So us non-buyers were/are at the mercy of the buyers using EMP-Gauss.

EMP Immunity. Pretty sure they have given more than one in the Battle Pass.

Non-buyers can participate in about 1-in-5 Gold tiers that award hull immunities. (4x100tk from 4 Challenges and ~ 100TKs from weekly containers)

Easy to miss out hull immunities awarded via the Battle Pass.

Hm, so EMP Gauss is not OP because EMP Immunity exists, but IB is OP . . . even though Heat Immunity exists?

Hmm, it gives Vulcan a nonstop shot, unlike Gauss.

Guys lastly I get the mission after long awaiting time... As I told you before, I will start counting every battle I play till I finish the mission.   I wont play normally, I will do my best to finish it.

Okay guys, I played 4 battles until now... Won the first two battles and the second two battles lost on them.

The first two battles were with a high purpose and intentional way of playing just to finish the challenge that I did, honestly I played with a despicable tactics just to finish my challenge. And if I continued with this way I can finish it 15/15 without any losing and in less than 2 hours. But I just chose to stop

The third battle was in the event map, there was some lags with me and honestly it changed the result as it restricted me from capturing the crucial flag.

The fourth battle was completely normal and I lost in the wining team.

Btw, I chose to stop my counting.. I found it's a tough and time consuming, I usually watch youtube videos while I play.. But I found myself couldn't focus in a word from the video as all of my concentrations were in the battle. So I chose to close the video, so playing meaninglessly as I find it something bored if I play without watching/hearing a video. So from now on I will stop my counter (though I waited about 2 weeks till I get this mission).

Players that say it's easy and they always end up in top-3 OF WINNING TEAM are by far in the minority.  They have to be - math says so.

Since only 3 out ALL tanks in the battle can meet the conditions, ON AVERAGE it takes 60 battles.

Well you don't get to choose your maps.

So one battle you can have small map (6 vs 6) and next battle could be Berlin (12 vs 12?)

 

EDIT - not entirely sure what you are meaning with the 4 vs 4...

Well, that's pretty rare and has a very small impact on completing that top3 mission overall.

There are only two of my active accounts that can say that completing this weekly mission is "easy". Because they have the means to: 

 

  1. Top the scoreboard on my team with ease 
  2. Assist in deciding the outcome of the battle

 

But it's not easy. I'm not using a drone like Booster, Defender, Crisis, or Saboteur, so I cannot guarantee that my team will win.  I am ultimately powerless against Crisis Hoppers. There is only so much one person can do against a sweatsquad of paywalled augments and meta drones. 

 

Realistically, there are too many factors for me to say that this mission is objectively easy on those accounts. Sometimes things go right but I keep losing battles. Sometimes I get the team doing the blowout and get easy wins. It's all up to chance as I am not using a combo that guarantees victory or comes near to doing that.

How are you always playing on teams where there are not 3 others like you?  In other words... 4 "good" players competing for the 3 spots?

Especially if you end up on winning team... that typically indicates better players on the team.

Much easier to be top-3 on a losing team... you don't have the potent team-makeup to pull off the win.  But then, that top3 won't count, right?

Honestly I agree and it's on average higher than 60 battles.. Maps are vary from 6vs6 (12 overall) to 14vs14 (28 overall). So in average there are 20 players in every battle, being in the top3 means 3/20 or in other meaning 1/6.6 battles.  So 15 x 6.6 = 100.    I know I took it seriously and went extreme

By the way regardless of the calculations, what I mean by it's easy is.. We are forum players, I don't think most of us are considered as Average player. No, most of us have a good knowledge about the game and higher skills than average MM bot players. common sense.  Don't convince me that you don't know tactics / strategies that guarantee for you to be in top3 for 1/2 battles you play.

In example I use two strategies which are well known and definitely you heard about it hundreds times. I play with Dictator + Mechanic drone in Assault (Defending).. If I placed in Attacking team I simply leave and re-join. Ok this combo guarantee you 100% undoubtedly that you will be in the TOP3 in every battle you play, no argue about this. And for sure most of Assault battles ends for the Defending team, so you have to cut 1/2 of the players from the calculations.

Ok and the second obvious strategy, playing with Viking in Juggernaut. And yeah

The average skill in Legend battles now has noticeably decreased. I wonder if that has anything to do with the increased EXP multiplier that is having positive effects on the game. ? ??

It might be because I put effort into playing when I play. I might be considered a tryhard by others.

 

My role in the battle, and the drone I use, focuses on kills. I use Driver. I kill players, get my Overdrive quickly, and use my Overdrive for offense or defense depending on the mode, my position on the map, and the situation around me. 

It is easy for me to get in the top 3 places in my team at the end of the battle. The hard part is winning the battle, the RNG factor of it. There are other players that have better equipment than me, but MM battles are just RNG. The enemy team comp can counter the best player on your team, meanwhile you have the counter to their team comp. The most skillfull player could be a short range turret on a light hull. But that won't take him far compared to a Shaft or Gauss user in a maps like Highways, Stadium or Brest or the other very large maps. 

 

One of those accounts use Shaft, which is very easy to obtain kills with, which means I can charge my Overdrive much faster. Here's a pic of me charging my Overdrive within the first 30 seconds of the battle from kills alone. It went to 100% at 6:25.

Ares' Overdrive can be used for kills, defending a point by healing a group of allies, and for capturing flags/rugby balls in certain maps. I can use Dictator as well (it will charge in the same time as Ares) and I can give it to allies so they can cap flags or balls easier, or time it right to give them Supercharge to wipe out a group depending on the turret they're using.

I'm aware of that, which is why I put "Assist in deciding the outcome of the battle" right below what you quoted. If I play meticulously enough and on the right map, I can at least guarantee that my team can get a DRAW, but as I said, I cannot guarantee that they can get a win. Because there is only so much one person can do. It requires teamwork and you have to hope that it happens enough for your team to win and not the enemy.

Anyway. Defender offers value that Driver cannot. Booster offers value that Defender cannot. Driver offers value that Defender cannot and repeat for every drone. Point is, you upgraded a drone that significantly increases your survivability. I upgraded a drone that allows me to obtain more Overdrives per battle on average. Both of these have different applications in battle.

Yeah but.... 95% of the time that's when I'm just loading into a battle.  You get an OD at the avg time I Ioad into a battle.  That's nuts.

The idea before the last I loved it actually... Making the players picking up a random turrets, I feel like they need to create an event that every time you respawn you come with a random turret and maybe a random hull.

I pretty sure that there are a large portion of the players wont know how to treat with many turrets, I just wonder how some players don't try any turret than their main turret and maybe two turrets else.. without giving even a minute of chance for any other turret. I couldn't imagine how for a sane human to play a game without even giving the turrets a minute of test.

Oh it seems a revolutionary idea to be honest, I will create it in Ideas&Suggestion.

3rd time you are saying this actually but yes, I am seeing at least one (most of the time) Dict + Isida + Mechanic on Defending team nowadays.
