My definition of Buyer Drones is that they are drones that consume multiple supplies in one go. 

 

 

What's next then? Mechanic using 3 repair kits per use? Driver drone using one of each supply when you use overdrive?

It seems Trickster will inevitably be the new Crisis drone for non-buyers. Just imagine all the Hoppers flying around with incredible speeds (even though this is still being tweaked on the test server); CTF/RGB battles will be utterly unplayable now. If these changes occur, not only will Trickster's current effects be gone, but in its place we will have this Crisis-esque crap to deal with.

And the new changes to supplies are to force everyone to spend crystals upgrading drones just to get their supply power back to how it was before. Bad move, Alternativa.

Non-Buyers will still have to worry about the speed boost itself. Each use consumes several speeds at once so if the Non-Buyer doesn't have an adequate supply of speed boosts, the drone will be useless in a few weeks after they've run out.

We're talking about speed boosts here, not double armors or double damages. I feel like many players underuse speed boosts, just like mines, so I imagine that running out won't be a major issue in that regard. But we'll have to wait and see. Still, though, making such crazy speeds available through a drone that is easy to acquire (unlike Crisis) is a terrible move by the devs.

Trickster was kinda underused and almost never used except smart people that use it for points but other than than it was kinda useless in a long run i would have used booster or defender over trickster ill even rather use a camper drone than trickster.

They should've just made a new drone and kept Trickster as an option for non-buyers to farm battle points.

They just wanna bully the players even if some of us have found our own way to enjoy this broken game.

 

They should tweak Mechanic to stop people from abusing it for battle points before touching Trickster.

Besides farming scores, Trickster is very useful in ASL, CTF & RGB.  You can instantly activate the same supply again as soon as it ends if you pick up a SB.  I sometimes used 2 RKs in between 4-5 seconds when I was under heavy attack near the enemy base.

I would still rather use booster or even possibly camper as I said before trickster is just used by smart people to farm points to begin with. Plus not a lot of team work happens anymore people treat all the objectives like TDM most of the time.

Yep It possibly is but the only concern for me is that Crisis does both good Defense and attack + Speed boost. Crisis is a drone that's too Op. But Trickster can do at least the Speed boost thing so i'd call it a mini crisis

I think that making trickster a mini-crisis is a boon to non-buyers. I mean crisis was the only drone which gave a speed boost and was only available for buyers. Now even non-buyers have a drone which boosts speed. I think that this is awesome.

That is a yes and no question my friend. Previously only Crisis used to dominate the battle and finish them in 2 min or so. Now there is another drone to challenge it which in fact allows you to use all your supplies at the same time. I think at the Legend ranks, things should be pretty fine. Though the boost is still less compared to that provided by Crisis, it still gives you a decent boost.

@Ironmantonystark Umm no, that sounds completely illogical to me and you've just proven my point. Now there's a drone to challenge Crisis, meaning that there's ANOTHER drone which can speed around the map like crazy, albeit not as fast as Crisis. Imagine that paired with Hopper. And it's available to EVERYONE from the COLONEL rank. Yep, I don't think it's a yes or no question.

I love the new Deathmatch mode:

 

The game is finally pure! No annoying one-shot, godmode overdrives and no hovering hulls! There was literally only one guy in the battle using a hovering hull and it was an awesome chance for a free kill.

 

And no goddarn Defender and Lifeguard and Crisis and Booster and Blaster Drones >:)
