They should've just increased the contrast of the Micro-Upgrade and Buy buttons so that newbie players can tell the difference between the two buttons much easier.

Also, they should've just added a darn pop-up confirmation window before you purchase to Micro-Upgrade in order to make sure you don't accidentally click on something and micro-upgrade something you don't want.

THAT'S WHAT THEY SHOULD'VE DONE

 

But nah, they just had to rip people off and essentially "delete" all the crystals you spend on MUs when you reach the unlock rank.

Honestly for a regular player who play one hour per-day, the player will reach the unlock rank way more quicker than finishing the MUs.

Also for newbies, 1 hour maybe seems just a little. We veterans maybe just get bored and not ready to spend more than 1 hour, newbies with all of enthusiasm maybe will spend 2-3 hours, which is way more higher than the unlock rank.

You do realize that he isn't a helper anymore right? I mean I'm pretty sure he openly said some negative things about this game before.

Well, most other players disagree. Like what's the last time you see people running around with it (Smoky + Vulcan combined)? Meanwhile other Legendary augments like EMP Gauss, Stun Striker and the damn AP Magnum are way more common. Remember, Rubberize bullet is supposed to be legendary rarity, it should perform equally as the rest of the legendary augments, but in reality, it is no where near it.

That's because rubber rounds take more skill to use, its still lethal and it keeps its base damage. Its still pretty handy..The augment is good as the user. Plus rubber rounds bounce a total of 5 times well still keeping its base damage. I still say that this augment is still useful.

Honestly though of the many of flying hacks in the past, I haven't saw a practical flying than Hopper. I was thinking those hacks are just for fun purpose and not really, like Jump Hack.

But with Hoppper, we saw them for first to be a practical

The moment the projectile speed is reduced, the mid - long range damage capability is essentially affected as well. So it is fair to say the average damage output is actually reduced with this augment. Also, remember this augment is supposed to be legendary rarity. By common sense, it should be objectively better than all other Vulcan augments, similar to other legendary augments. Yet, obviously this is not the case.

I agree that Vulcan IB is was to be considered as in exotic rarity like the other Augments. But Tanki corrected its mistake for making it F2P and nerfed it now. I think they regret why they haven't made it exotic from the start.

It was fine with rarity, it just shouldn't burn when the tank was not burning (like it is right now). But it was all just a tactic to sell Heat Immunity.

I'm against Vulcan IB and against EVERY OP Augment

But I was describing the situation why Tanki stopped it from being OP. Because it was almostly F2P Augment, HI and HR are very common in containers.

I feel like one day they will introduce a new exotic version of Vulcan IB, with lesser nerfs than it was. Vulcan HD have its surprises for us with the new pack of new disgusting Augments

Actually I have to disagree with you here; I average 20+ kills with rubber rounds for Vulcan and get top 3 ...What needs a buff is rubber rounds for smoky not Vulcan. Even though its not an S-tier augment like EMP Gauss, AP Gauss, other EMP Augments, and Stun Striker, I would still rate rubber rounds for Vulcan as an A tier and it can still compete against the other augments. To sum it all, it is not a weak augment.

To be honest, for city maps and tunnels, Rubberized Rounds are amazing! For maps that are like just hilly or bumpy, Rubberized Rounds is trash. More of a map control Augment.

Rubberized Rounds for Smoky. It sucks. No need for a projectile speed nerf. Or just make it bounce as much as Vulcan's.

I'm stuck with 4 armors that are at MK6-4 and one at MK 5-4 with a cost to upgrade of 170,000 each to  upgrade. It's Like losing a million crystals.....Totally lost motivation in the game now. 

 

I upgraded these as fast as possible given the announcement but Since each of these takes like 14 days to upgrade it was not possible to upgrade in time for the change...which did not have a specified date. AT LEAST allow any current micro upgrades to finish the job.  and don't allow upgrades if it's a  MK  X-0  This wouldn't have been difficult to code in...it's just lazy work 

 

The micro upgrade was a useful feature as  as it allows you to play with the slightly powered up tank...especially important when the tanks you play with grossly outrank you to the point where the game was frustrating.   You can play with an underpowered tank and have the game suck while you save up.....that gets boring fast, micor upgrades gave a fighting chance. 

Horrible update. 

 

I usually pay for the challneges as I appreciate the work the designers do to keep this game running and don't mind throwing them the prices of a coffee 2 x a  month.

Not giving this site another dime unless they correct this.

In my opinion, it is a good change.

But for those who have started MUing their equipment before the change now lost Crystals.


I think how it should be handled is that if you have more than half the steps to get the next Mk you can keep going. But if you are at the rank to unlock the following Mk, it will lock it, and you are forced to buy that Mk.

For example.

Mk5-5 Unlocked Mk6. I can keep micro-upgrading to Mk6

Mk5-5 Unlocked Mk7. I will now have to buy Mk7. No longer able to MU my Mk5.

Exactly how I feel.

The really frustrating bit is that this was foreseeable and that they chose to do it. They have made a choice to really hurt some players when they could have chosen to implement it in a different way and not do so. That's why I can't be arsed now - why should I care if they are going to choose to harm my experience? I'll give my money to someone who does care instead.

Would be opposite of what you say - especially for players who have just unlocked mk6 - like Thunder at Brigadier.  If they play only 1 hr per day (or less) then their MUs will be done faster compared to their ranking.  Instead of waiting until Marshal to get mk7 they can work their way upward.  They will need every bit of power since they are forced to fight against Legends by this time due to MM.

I think you should reword the poll options - MUs weren't removed, just disabled after a certain rank.

I personally am in favor of removing MUs entirely - no waiting - but am strongly opposed to the latest MU update.

If you don't finish upgrading a piece of equipment before its unlock rank, then those crystals will be wasted because you have to buy it for its full price

Worst affected players are Marshalls and higher that haven't finished upgrading Mk6 equipment, usually modules

what kind of a mucky update is this . the MU system was good as it was before. why was this done?

I don't know the exact reason, but I think it was done to simplify the UI
