Made it interesting. Reminded me of Hornet.

Actually I don't know anymore. 

Played with Hunter yesterday and had lots of fun.

I actually agree with @yellowghettothat Viking's OD is a bit OP because on top of the fire rate they also buffed it with damage, which makes no sense. But it still loads slow:

That's 7,5% for one kill and 24% for a minute.

It's overused hull because it seems like a safe choice: good rapport between speed and hp, stable hull and has an OD that makes you go crazy.

As I explained earlier, making kills gets it back quick. There are also other methods such as a Dictator's Overdrive, the Driver Drone, Reactor Box, and KILLING TANKS. I know. Mind blowing.

 

Hmm. Halfway across the map. Hopper, or Crisis Drone? Defense. Lack of teamwork or a single Hopper? Still pretty biased.

As the Devs said, when a new leader comes, it will fall. Viking is more meta than Hopper.

 

Same could say about you. Not having any experience with Hopper and see how sucky it is at the high ranks without the help of OP Drones. :)  No experience, no right to complain.

LOL get a grip noob, your fav legal hack is getting ripped to bits and you don't like it.

And as i have already stated i have not played viking in a long time because i consider hunter better for my game play.

And yes i do have the right to rip the flying hack to bits. It's as OP as you can get without actually giving it god mode status.

Tell me 1 hull that can dominate a battle on it's own with no help from teammates and cap most of the flags (ON ITS OWN)

There is a difference between UNIQUE and OP gear dominating certain modes with ease, with little and on most occasions, no counter before they make the cap.

Switching from one LEGAL OP HACK to the other more OP LEGAL HACK when they could no longer abuse the formers overdrive.

It's called hitting the nail on the head.

You must have very sore thumbs with the amount of post you have spammed that have no merit whatsoever when trying to defend the OP LEGAL CHEAT.

Charge per battle point. Kill assists, Dictator, Driver, modes like SGE, and CP.

If i see you and getto in battle i will make sure to nerf my main down to around 5000 G/S to give you both a fighting chance.

Even then it will be a walk in the park, you see 1 viking no doubt you will run from it's OP overdrive, never read so much claptrap than i have today.

Hopper is bad, but it doesn't make me come close to smashing my laptop with a hammer like Viking users do.

I can't recall getting overly frustrated at Vikings, nor do I feel like I'm being targeted. It's entirely possible we have different experiences in battle. I certainly get frustrated when I get killed by another player in a cheap way, but again, Viking's OD is but one way to get a cheap kill. I get far more annoyed with Booster players, Magnums, Gausses, Railguns, and Shafts than I do with Viking's OD because they kill me much more often.

Being stunned and being able to do nothing except watch as a Hopper flies across the map with the ball or flag and caps without anyone being able to stop it is to me far more infuriating than getting killed by Viking's OD. In fact I would much rather a Viking waste their OD on me only rather than destroy five of my teammates.

Other than the...interesting shape, the problem with Dictator is the Hitbox. It needs to be a triangle just like the Hull itself.

Yeah.  Other issue is it seems very lethargic when trying to maneuver.  Feels like a large pig sometimes...

Actually, the most overpowered thing in Tanki has not been mentioned in this thread yet.

The most overpowered thing under the current meta, this is simply not playing Tanki.

Ever since the comprehensively misguided "experience boost" parameter change of September 2020, it is impossible for an active player to compete with inactive players in the efficiency rating. The only way to improve, this is not to play Tanki at all, and just occasionally visit your profile page and find delight in your progress.

Other advantages of this most overpowered action are that you do not get bothered by absurd lags, that you do not get confronted with developers now courting the less enlightened segments among twelve year olds with a mobile phone and corrupting the game to please the cravings of this group, that you do not get annoyed by incompetent players in you own team.

Every day, I feel developers nudging me towards walking the only path to improve that they left open since September 2020, which is simply not playing Tanki.

I'd appreciate @At_Shin to abstain from distorting the content of my comment by removing select words. I do not mind all 12 year olds, I mind courting those mentally dysfunctional specimen among them whose cravings to court means destroying the game

As a gentleman player, I have not yet taken this most overpowered action (just as I deliberately never took the most unfair and annoying action on Tanki, putting up the EMP augment for Gauss). But every day, I feel developers nudging me towards doing it, towards walking the only path to improve that they left open since September 2020, which is simply not playing Tanki.

Not playing Tanki means nothing. And something that is nothing, is irrational. Cannot be OP.

Why people using Viking? It's just a personal choose that many players prefer it before or after the Overdrives. I think the most players are using the hulls instead of its overdrive.

For me my most used hull is Hornet, and that haven't changed neither after the overdrives' update that made it really OP (not more than Hopper) nor after the nerf. Because it's my favorite hull so I use it.. I play from many years, the only time I have upgraded and used Viking is 2020 because I get Heat Immunity in it. Whatever the overdrive get a nerf or buff, I wont stop using Viking.

Hunter: wasn't used that much to be honest compared to Viking/Hornet, but the Overdrive's update have significantly increased its popularity. For me, I was using it from a long while for many reasons one of them is the highest maneuverability in the game.

Mammoth/Titan are used before/after the overdrives nothing changed.. But Mammoths are tend somehow to switch to Titan because of the useless of their Mammoth Overdrive.

Ok but Hopper: is a new hull, players are playing it mainly because of its OPness. Why the players chose to switch from their favorite hulls like Hornet/Viking to Hopper? Because it's balanced??

Dictator is a really dumb, a tall giraffe.. Not because it's ugly, it's just bad in driving. A hurried Hornet who moves quickly against Dictator can slips under it like a nutmeg. When an enemy is close fitting you from the side and you turn your turret around him, your shoot will go above him.

Nowadays, if the generating the score way from Dictator's OD wasn't exist.. Dictators should give me a very reasonable reason for their choosing of the hull. It's no longer a hull to catch gold boxes, Hunter have disqualified it something.. And Hopper have

What I find stupid that doesn't make sense is between hoppers acceleration and crusaders acceleration.. I have noticed that Medium Hulls and Heavy Hulls have higher acceleration than Light Hulls in general, either Hovering or Normal hulls. To be honest I don't know why but it's a type of balance that developers see

but the physics doesn't make sense for its weight class.. at this point I would rather use crusader or acceleration and for strafing
