On the verge of quitting.

The new crit damage setting has nerfed all hulls.

 

A non-drugged rail can now take out a DA Mammy, Mk7-20... with one shot.

 

Might as well just have everyone use rail guns with M0 Wasp.

 

This isn't balance... it's nuking all the hard work put in to maxing out hulls.

Okay max crit damage for stock rail is 3200 with DD so it cant one hit a mammoth, med hulls yes it can one hit. Crit damage with stock rail without dd is 1600.

What are you not telling us?

Even LCR can't do what you are claiming.  Booster drone maybe?

 

Anyway... will be pretty funny when I complete this Challenge  and start equipping my smoky-autocanon with Titan AP immunity...

Oh god ap titan. Lol make titan pretty hard to go against if you are a hornet player. Well considering I do play hornet the most. ?

The reason I am so mad, is because I feel Tanki is just trolling me.

First Titan XT, then Titan Prime, then Titan EMP Immunity, Titan Heat Immunity, 

Now, Titan AP Immunity. 

I DON'T WANT TO PLAY TITAN.

@wolverine848 actually Rail with LCR with DD can one hit a titan. this is kinda comical. ?? Heres a video of me litterally one hitting a titan even without a drone. Im also assuming it can one hit a mammoth. ? I litterally just made the vid right now. Well I did use hornet od to see max damage.

Instead, we'd get more opportunities for more Alteration-Like Augments, similar to the ones from 2016 and 2018 where they change the mechanisms of how the turret works.


Rather than just tacking on a lame EMP or AP status effect.

 

 

 

And if we do get more lame status effect augments, I'll just pretend they don't exist and start a campaign to delete them.

We kinda need a Drone named "Hex" though. Ability: Curses all buyers near you and turns all their equipment into Mk1. A "buyer" counts as a "buyer" if they have spent more than 5 dollars in the game.

@wolverine848 What would you say if I showed you a video how many small hulls easily survive direct hits by magnum? 

What if I showed how I hit approaching tank 3 times in a row directly on the head, but there's zero damage?

What would you think of the game then?

@asem.harbi I played all other turrets. I began mostly with shaft. Are isida, firebird or freeze hard to use? No. Once you're in range you destroy enemy in a second. What about midrange? All have some sort of auto aim, helping a lot. Thunder has a lot of splash, I'd guess more than magnum, considering how many times I've been destroyed by thunder despite hiting far from me. Many times smokey will destroy me in 3 quick shots. How is that a small caliber turret? If I measure time needed for causing lets say 3000 points damage, magnum is now the easily slowest. 

i just checked playing with vulcan again, it's low grade, but it''s still comically easy to use. Even when you move you just simply direct your turret to a target and then software kicks in autoaim and that's it. If it's mark7 target is dead in two second. 

So lets compare vulcan to magnum. Both were supposed to have trade offs. Magnum can have splash (which was lowered), had most damage done (which was lowered significantly plus damage caused is calculated differently every time - judging only from direct hits on hull), but you couldn't move turret sideways,  no autoaim, distance depends on how accurate you set the angle and power, both have to be operated all the time, you could shoot over walls, but there was a long reload and self harm where you could destroy yourself if other tank happened to drive in front of you just when you wanted to shoot. 
Vulcan could destroy you in seconds, has autoaim, can move turrets, but it was supposed to have limited active time to prevent burning. Now there are adjusments where vulcan can shot whole game without self burning, meaning main obstacle for vulcan has been removed, but the only plus for magnum, shooting over walls, has been taken away. How is that comparable? I can hit tanks directly on the head 20 times in a row, but if the shot was over any kind of wall, damage is zero. There is no lag. Should've shown you a video. I can shoot certain tank, lets say twice over the wall and it has zero damage, then I move from behind a wall to face the tank directly and then there's immediatelly damage when I hit him. If there were any kind of lag from previous shots, third shot should've killed him, but it doesn't. He easily then continues and destroys me in seconds. 

So the question is why did they change this? When we moved from flash there wasn't this problem in html5 at the beggining, they slowly started to increase numbers of duds. Why? Why magnum can no longer cause damage while shooting over an obstacle? Vulcan can now have riccochet effect and can destroy you from behind the wall, magnum can't. Thunder can have a splash and kill you without a direct hit, magnum can't. 

Do you know how i know there's no lag? Because i use mine shells and you can clearly see when one appears on the floor and when not. 
I can test by shooting from various points and see. Every time I don't shoot over the wall, the mine is there. 

Thus this is not a glitch, it's a deliberate decision by owners to nerf magnum, but in the process they killed it completely. 
Now they reward less skilled players and punish most skilled one. 
Unless you'll try to convince me that me hitting at an angle 25 with power 70 (so you know how far it will fly) a fast moving target (any small hull with double speed) requires same ammount of skill as with shooting with vulcan or any other autoaim long distance turret.

I did try to play all turrets early on and magnum seemed to demand most skills, so it became my default turret for fun. Now hitting same target five times and cause no damage is not fun anymore.

If there's zero damage than it would take you a LOT longer than 15 seconds to destroy the tank.

I get hit by magnums all the time - and they are definitely doing damage to me and even destroying me.

Maybe you have a slow computer with lots of lag, and you are not actually hitting them?

Has not done this for quite some time.  That function was removed over a year ago.  Unless you are referring to vertical auto-aim, which every turret has.

Try to track a moving target at medium range while you are also on the move.  Good luck getting the turret to rotate as fast as you need it to...

Magnum shot cannot deal damage if it does not have a direct line of sight (e.g. fire the shot behind building or wall).  People are complaining in the Complaint Book .

 

Not sure if this change is intentional or not.  Could be another nerf which was not mention in patch notes...

Actually, sometimes, the enemy magnum shoots me but doesn't damage me. 
It's proof that the Magnum no-damage bug is not an internet thing, but an actual bug.
