When you have formed a Group to prepare for MM, can we add a feature for the players not leading the group, have an ability to click the mode of their choice to send a notification to suggest a mode they want to play? There should be more Quality of Life changes in-game

Decent idea, but it would be more logical to just implement a MM group chat, since it would serve the same purpose more effectively, and have additional functionality on top of that.

It could perhaps show a notification like “Example suggests to play CTF.” Or "Example suggests to play SGE." I think you'd get the point

True, but while in-game we don’t really need a MM Group Chat if some people really don’t like speaking orally to randoms. A little change to a suggestion system would be really basic and easy to understand for the casual players.

We're just talking about a text channel where it's just you and your group members. Not necessarily voice chat.

Well, sometimes I just friend or get a friend request from some random guys that play pretty good, but not necessarily know English. So instead of struggling to chat while using Russian to English translator, I would prefer a notification "X has recommended JGR" or something like that while the other guys get it in their own preferred language.

Today I was playing in a group, and I think the group leader was in the garage, and I had to wait for a long time until he chooses a battle mode. I thought of a new idea, where you can remind the group leader to choose a battle, so people don't have to wait a long time for group leader to choose a battle mode.

Topic Merged. 

It would be convenient to have a feature where you can 'poke' the group leader by clicking on his name from the group profile which appears next to the play button. This would definitely make things convenient and will be much easier. However, it is a similar idea to this one and selecting your choice of battle mode which sends the leader a notification regarding your choice is a more suitable way of implementing the feature. It would serve the same purpose, but with another advantage too.

My idea for this all along has been to simply add a chat that is always open for when you are in a group. It REALLY sucks to have no communication with the other players when you are in a group outside of battle. The chat should be between only members of the group, and be erased/closed when the group is left. This would make things a million times simpler...

This has been asked many times, by doing so, it will increase the queue time very much. Everybody would want to play in a map upto his liking. This will break the MM's function to automatically put players in a mode. If you want to play in Sandbox Rugby, you will have to wait for a lot of time till there are sufficient players in the map to start a match. 

The same would happen with other modes.

If players would choose the map then they shouldn't be able to choose the mode.  Other than that, there will no be MM battle starting.

Ah two years later still planned, and 8 months since the reveal, no new battle UI change.

 

But seriously, it would be helpful if we could have a suggest mode feature in a future UI update, alongside with in-game VC. I think that would be cool.

It seems Tanki nowadays care more about visuals and sounds. Simply adding a "Group Chat" could be tedious. I have learned that not everyone enjoys clicking and reading. Even that guy who appears in the VLOG is thinking about adding emotes to the battle UI to help with basic communication.

 

A short notification sound, and a mode icon would be  helpful.

Ok? we can't choose maps in our choices without modes, can we?
