What would make the HTML5 version awesome FOR YOU?

How about the red outline being an option in the Settings > Game menu, that you can turn on and off? It would normally be turned on, for the sake of newbies.

Needs to go by rank.  Once you hit a certain rank it should no longer be available.  Should not need to depend on the outline once you are WO or some similar rank.

Red outline in upper ranks is for lazy players - those who want to just camp at long range with easy hits.

Here are some of my opinions about the new HTML5 version of the game:

- What I like about it:

  • The Main Menu is VERY good-looking.
  • Favorite Paints feature makes it a lot easier to find the paints that we most like.
  • The shortcuts shown with the buttons are very handy for quick actions.

- What I think could be better:

  • The icons of ranks in battle sometimes are not clear, especially when I set the battle interface size to a small percentage.
  • Shots don't make marks on walls nor floor.
  • Gear parameters are not easily found by the player as on Flash version, which features a table that shows all important statistics of that equipment.
  • When at Loading Battle screen, the elements get too large on small screens (like mine). I wish this screen could adapt better on smaller screens.
  • The red line surrounding enemy tanks is kind of annoying. I'd like a way to disable it.

I really wish that the HTML5 version become better than the Flash one in every way, and can't wait to see it rocking!

You've been doing a great work! And keep up asking our feedback!

I just played HTML5 and gotta admit, it needs a lot of improving. The red outline definitely sucks. Can't aim properly with it there. And feel like a noob.

I agree - should not be there once you get to WO.  Should only be for players learning to play.

As much as I'd love that, I doubt it.

It's worth a shot tho :P

There is one thing.

The paints.  The favorites thing is still too cumbersome, there needs to be a fast select option drop down of favorites from within battle.  IT shouldn't take effect until the next respawn, but this way you don't have to hit the garage to select a paint, just click, drop down, maybe 5 paints max on that list, and select and be done.

I can't see any clan tags in HTML5 during the battle, i just see players' names.

Can you add the clan tags next to the name in the battles in Tanki HTML5?

bruh, on my HTML5 Client, the garage in lobby FINALLY SHOWS after 2 months LOL! HOWEVER, for some reason, every 5-10 times that the game has to load up the garage, the game crashes and says something like null plugin extension failed and Restart button appears. Ugghhhhh

A minor thing i would like to see in HTML . In the past we could do a clan description , and with some minor HTML knowledge we could even get a drawing in flash browser ( not in the client ) .

Since it is completely HTML 5 , is it possible to get that function back again , so we could do a proper clan description again , since the old HTML function like in flash doesnt work anymore .

Having clan names next to username is also something mentioned by others and is indeed very annoying in new HTML5 version . This is very usefull to attract new members to clan , to see if they are clan free or not ( and in which clan they are ) . THX .

This is only a minor thing but the skyboxes look horribly pixelated in HTML5, and I think the devs should do something about it.

Oh and by the way, I don't think it's to do with my graphics settings or anything like that.

Hello,

A reason i still dont play on html is that the supplie section in battle is not clear.
It is harder to see which supplies are enabled and which are not.
Make it look more like flash version please

I've noticed that everytime a gold drops, or at least 60% of the times i don't even notice the notification, because it's color isn't unique no more in the HTML5 interface, plus it's not even visible enough, and this causes me to miss the gold because i didn't even knew there was a gold dropped eventhough i have the interface size at 100% and don't want to make it bigger because it will be just not reasonable, in this case i'm someone who plays the game without sound, and eventhough, the notification of the goldbox isn't visible enough

I suggest to make the goldbox notification Bigger, or with a BOLD font, or even make it as the flash version, at the top middle of the screen, so it's better and more visible and harder to miss

Or even better, make the notification like the TANKI X one, with a special effect and huge text, would give more intuition for the player and make him realise that areward is dropping from the sky..

1. For me, HTML5 has longer transition times from lobby to battle screen than flash and I'm sure others are also facing the same issue, so I hope this can be addressed before the official release.

2. The way the camera behaves is a little too different from the flash version for us to play comfortably with and makes it feel like a completely new game. It especially affects battles where precise aiming is required such as XP/BP and esports formats such as light and medium. It would be much more simple to have the default camera movement of flash and the ability to change the way our camera behaves  (fake spectator) for those who like the way HTML5 camera behaves, especially mouse players.

3. The UI looks better in HTML5, but some parts of it are hard to navigate such as inviting your friends to a battle. It would be much more simple if the friends list worked just like the flash version where we are able to see what battle they are playing instead of just "CTF" or "CP". It is also very time consuming to click through each and every battle to find what map is being played. I would like to see a battle list similar to the one in flash where we are able to see the map being played before clicking on the battle itself.

4. Personally, it is hard to tell when a goldbox is falling in the HTML5 version since the notification is barely visible. It would be a lot more convenient to have it in the middle of the screen again since most of us are used to playing like this already.

5. I also noticed that it is not possible to create a battle without a timer in HTML5. In other words, we aren't able to play till we reach a certain amount of flags or points captured like we are able to in flash. It would be nice to be able to do that same in HTML5.

6. The graphics on flash seem to be more appealing than that of HTML5. Even on full graphics, HTML5 seems to be bland whereas flash has higher quality graphics and in my eyes, the colors in HTML5 are more on the grayscale than flash which is what makes it unappealing compared to flash. Making the colors pop out more and improving the graphics would make it more interesting to play in HTML5. Down below is the color comparison.

(Flash full graphics, fog off)

(same settings as flash)

I understand that HTML5 is still a work in progress and I hope my feedback can provide an insight from a player's point of view as to why we still prefer flash over HTML5.
