The fire protection module also protects against Smoky and Vulcan's Incendiary Alterations but why does it not have effect on Dragon Breath of Hammer?

It's working just fine against my enemies. Know that it protects against the afterburn from the pellets and not Hammer's direct pellet damage

I’m not sure why you don’t notice the effect there. Probably because your Firebird module is too weak so far?

The Firebird module does have a big problem of not helping much when going up against Compact fuel tanks - it literally does almost nothing, regardless if it’s at 30% or 41%. It doesn’t feel like it does anything, really. It seriously needs a buff.

that shouldn't be a problem. MM are aboout drugs so they have to just waste a repair kit against our compact fuel tanks

Never took modules for a serious upgrade so that could be the case. Honestly viking getting one shot from hammer is quite outrageous for me
