Take your Gauss to the next level

I never once considered such an alt actually would come into existence, since it would be heck broken for someone to straight up just shoots and disables enemy supplies,like.... it's basically a ranged hunter overdrive? It's one of the reason why I suggested a striker alt that disables enemy melee turret from moving temporarily but don't disable their supplies like literally....welp,not my position to make complaint without any proper knowledge of this alt anyway...

I was happy after I read about the update that improves camera movement. My excitement lasted about 30 seconds, basically until reading about this horrifying update.

The description of the alteration does not seem to say that it is only the lock-on shot that has the EMP effect. It seems to imply that every shot does--or am I missing something? This is why the splash is gone on the normal shot--so that the effect is limited to one target? Unless you use the lock-on shot, of course. That will get many at once. On the other hand the normal shot has a much faster rate of fire than normal.

I have no words. This is a beyond-horrible idea.

No its just the lock-on shot that disables supplies...I've already tried it in test server.

And it could have been changed from there to implementation on the real servers.

If gauss xt is not added to xt containers now will it ever be added later? ....after all it IS an xt thus it should be a possible reward

There's no way....that would just make way too unbalanced

Well it doesn't have to change to exactly that. But some parameters can become different from what you played earlier. Anything can change about it during the implementation. We'll have to see the feedback from users who bought it.

Way too unbalanced. That's a good way of putting it, actually. Pretty sure it's unbalanced anyway. Removing supplies with a long-distance no-warning shot, with substantial splash, and a pretty decent rate of fire itself? You've noticed how long you survive after getting hit with the Hunter's EMP, right? Or have you tried to play MM battles without using any supplies? It's brutal.

Just encountered an enemy player who purchased the the Gauss bundle which includes the new alteration. In all honesty, this alteration is absolutely ridiculous and annoying. Why should a turret have any effects on disabling supplies?? Leave it to overdrives please! AND if you must keep this alteration as it as, at least remove the 3 second cooldown period on all supplies after being shot at. If I'm having my supplies disabled, then I should be able to fight back by instantly repairing my hull and equipping DA and DD. I do appreciate that you guys considered our feedback for the HTML5 version of the game. Please consider our feedback on this Gauss alteration.

It looks like it may be a 3 second cooldown period instead of 5 seconds

They can’t change anything about the alteration now because then the buyers will cry

Looks like it's an op alt, guess I'm coming back and buying this bundle

This alteration will change gameplay in CTF drastically, just imagine if you are carrying the flag away and you get shot by one of these guys. The only way to counter this alteration is by playing with a brain (don't be a bot) and actually think where you are moving around so gauss has no chance of locking onto you.

This alteration is too much. First off, why did you make it shop exclusive. You guys know we hate pay to win but is that literally what you are doing? You are letting people with fat wallets to buy special abilities to have and advantage over regular players. I have played this game faithfully for 5 years and this (along with rubberized rounds) are egregious. The least you could do is put this alteration and the Vulcan one in the garage so us regular players can have a chance. Second, what is the point of hunter anymore? Seriously you have a stealthy EMP sniper that can basically do what a hunter does without the range limit. I think you guys have an interesting idea but come on. Imagine this turret on a hornet in siege mode. Just imagine the utter OP carnage this gun would inflict. Not only can it ignore protections with the hornet hull, it can disable their supplies. Seriously tanki... Listen to the players and not your checkbooks

The alteration shouldn't be in the game. PERIOD. Regardless of whether it's buyer only or available to all it'll have a terrible effect on gameplay. Another Pay-to-Win thing added to another bunch of P2W nonsense.

Usual trash u get in MMO games when they get blinded by greed...

  • Introduce OP pay-to-win gear for buyers only

  • Buyers purchase OP gear and gain a huge advantage over free players and smaller buyers that have supported the game for years.

  • Annoyed loyal players leave and the game declines.

  • Buyers of this P2W gear pretty much paid for the game's demise just so they can be OP for a bit.

This game has nowhere near the player base to get away with garbage updates like this...sure it can re-advertise to bring in players, but that costs and since it has already annoyed a huge chunk of the people that were looking for a tank game to play...good luck with that.

This game's a shadow of its former self, such a shame.

Anybody have seen new gaussians ??

Seen one in CTF...

Camped at base taking shots at attacking players with supplies activated, the supplies deactivation time is long enough for attackers to be destroyed by defenders. Attacking players leave for another battle cos they're wasting drugs in that battle & could win easier using less drugs elsewhere. Gauss user switched to attack and outnumbered team loses...=Pay-to-Win

Could just target the Gauss, but there are other enemies to deal with before u get to it, and why bother if all you gotta do is go to another battle where there isn't a Gauss+Alt so you don't waste your drugs.

watch how number of players will start to decrease and a lot will quit MM to start playing in pro maps
