what would happen to our paints from the past events .. will  players who won the Penguin paints keep there paints  in our garages or would they get removed ?

So... wonder wut you give up on the hull to get an alteration?

They made it sound like the hull will be invulnerable to the specific effect... goodby compact tanks?

If you can nullify the Gauss EMP effects, does that also spell the death of Hunter?

I guess its time for them to update our protection and change it to a lower % protection. its bad enough the fire and freeze is Over powering in battles on smaller hulls.

too bad Hazel did not leave on April 1. maybe the game could be salvaged after he left.

It's not the modules protection % vs damage that I was referring to.

It's the immunity to "effects" these hull alterations will give. if you are immune to overheat, compact tanks for fire will be useless.

And if you are immune to EMP effects, same goes for Gauss alteration (which can still do damage - 30%).  But will that inadverdently kill the Hunter OD as well?  They have a habit of tying too many things together - look at incendiary band and the nerf they originally applied to ALL vulcans.

knowing them it will be changing . if you look at the shot effects , when we have them in place on the turrets , we have less effect damage compared to  other set ups. I think this is what Hazel will also be doing for the hulls . giving us two separate effects on our tanks . and taking away some things if in use..

hope this makes sense . sorry mind is not working yet lol

I don't understand what you mean here.  Are you referring to turret alterations? "adding afterburn effect"...

What good is Freeze if it no longer slows your target's turret rotation anymore? Forget about damage, Freeze was used for the effect. Even Shock Freeze is weak.

Yeah... if the hull is getting some kind of advantage, there must be some kind of nerf to go along with it.

But there are fewer parameters to adjust on a hull.  They gonna make it slower? Or lower the armor?

yea i would also think that . but they could be removing it from our protection packages . and lowering certain ones and raising others .

The real April fools joke is where @Opex-Rah announced 4 years ago that there will never be hull alterations, leading me to decline a bunch of ideas for them. But now it's actually being implemented ?

Turret alts tweaked one stat up and one stat down, for the most part.  Then they started crossing over with incendiary and freezing effects.

Really, the hull alts should have followed the same path - lowering armor to gain more speed. Things like that.

But adding completely new effects that have nothing to do with the current hull is a slippery slope IMO.

yea coloured dust when driving . leaving such colours as blue or red .. lol  nothing but a rainbow battle field ..

Complete invulnerable, eh?

Infinite incendiary band. Infinite Vulcan in general. Rip compact tanks. Rip shock freeze. Hope there are some big costs in exchange for this invulnerability.

Yeah - your movement goes down 95%.  You're basically a pill-box.  Better hope you don't spawn in a corner.

ok, lot of new complexity in the game, hopefully this will be followed by an increase of battle fund to be able to buy them ?

Hull alterations request:

- against impact force of shot (would be useful for light hulls), shock-wave (from juggernaut and mines).

- against splash damage (more turret got splash damage now)

- drift! i want an alteration that make my tank drift (and maybe ride faster)

Why not make a specific ice map? Or better yet, put this effect on all winter maps?
