Well it's good like how a Wasp would drop a bomb right as it dies to kill the enemy that killed it. Melee turrets who know what the drone does would be wary of you and try to attack from a distance. When I play Shaft, enemies with a Blaster Drone are a top priority for me to snipe. So don't be surprised if you're targeted first from a distance against knowledgeable players. 

 

Now, onto how it works. Well, having DD active at the time you get destroyed and activate the drone doubles the damage that the drone does. The drone does damage based on your turret. So if the enemy has protection against your turret, they also have protection against your Blaster's damage. Lastly, ground zero for the damage is where the turret is positioned, not the edge of your hull.

I can be negative about events, but I like this one. The only mission I will play is the Wasp Overdrive one. After 3 days I'm at 119, so it should be possible to get the drone. Normally, I wouldn't buy the drone. So this is a nice gift.

Dont know if anyone has mentioned this, but here are some stuff you guys can change for next event 

• Keep missions that reward drones the 300 wasp bombs seems reasonable
• Keep 1000 speed boost mission but change the reward since 10 repair kits is just a joke
• Change the 200 k xp mission and lower it down back to 100 k, also would be nice to receive an animated paint from this mission
• 100 gold mission is a bad idea, probably lower it down a little to maybe 20 or somewhere in that range, also change the reward from 300 batteries to something like crystals like maybe 50k
• Remote mission should be changed to get 5000 kills with any turret, since not everyone is a fan of long range turret, maybe lower the number to 2500 kills instead since it can be hard to get that much kills in the higher ranks.
• If all previous missions are completed, players should receive a skin container of their choice along with some crystals and supplies rewarding their hard work.

Just an idea of how these events can work, since the current missions are far off from being perfect.

I'm going to be honest, I'm perfectly fine with no more exp boosting events. Everything just feels super fast.

Ranked up to Major General on March 15
Lockdown 1 event (1.5x exp) started on March 24
Ranked up to Lt.General on April 5
Lockdown 2 event (1.75x exp) started on April 14
I'm currently 7,000 exp away from General

Thank you. I was gonna test that next but I won't have to now.

 

Have you tried it with Viking's Overdrive to see if it did increased damage?
