The Ares hull will not be able to equip Magnum. That's not fair. I prefer the second option from the V-Log saying that Magnum will be controlled with the mouse. Please go ahead and make Ares compatible with Magnum for mouse users.

Then you can't shoot in different directions unless you have the "side turning alteration".

I think they should make it so that you can just simply use it with magnum, but you can't turn at all unless you have the "reinforced gun cartridge" alteration. That way you can still use magnum with ares, but you made the choice to not be able to turn in different directions (again, unless you have the alteration, in which case you use it like any other turret."

I think it's because Stock Magnum on Ares would have a limited field of view. The other hulls can turn around and be able to see all around them but Ares can't do that as it strafes when you do the hill steering inputs.

I see the Clan tourney was played on Flash and not HTML (look at the size and font of players names on the video)  Hmmmmmmm

So you're saying that Ares one great Achilles heel will be on diagonal terrain like hills and ramps?

I do not think it is a bad option to make players able to use Magnum with Ares. It will definitely not be very useful, but I mean who cares, if somebody wants to try it out for whatever reason I don't care.
