im  gonna be honest -taking away turret alterations from the garage is the most stupidest idea tanki has had .this will totally ruin the game for f2play(and i say play not win) players . cause honestly as a non- buyer alterations  are the only fun im currently having in the game.take that away ,tanki plummets to its death

So we don't know for sure if turret alteration will no longer be in garage?

My alt account might buy hammer in future - but I did not buy any alterations yesterday.  So buying full-price will kinda suk.

huh.im one step ahead of u .since im sure ill by hammer mk6  (right now i have mk2) .im waiting to rank and get a crystal kit with it .due to the uncertainty with alts ive bought the high capacity ammo clip  .and at a rank of major i took a mk2 hammer into battle and shredded those tanks.imagine a mk6

I agree with you. It's a lose-lose situation for the players  Firebird and Freeze are getting essentially nerfed, to a growing degree the more there are players who get those hull alterations--and yet the protections against them are also getting nerfed. Pretty diabolically clever, huh?

I believe they are trying to excessively complicate our situation. So many things to take into account, compensate for, so many bases to cover, such a chaos of factors--means more crystals spent and ultimately more dollars.

I love this game--but I have no faith whatsoever that the devs are actually trying to make it better for the player. None. I just have to flinch and grit my teeth every time they introduce something.

If the protections against them are getting nerfed then that is an indirect buff to Firebird and Freeze.

 

It all just complicates things further and leaving more gaps.

Firebird with compact tanks is a King now.  Guaranteed kills with 1 second of exposure.  I see a LOT of then now - on every map.  And lots of wasp freezes dropping bombs - you have no chance to escape.

Player comes into battle with Firebird and compact tanks--which is way more powerful than it should be, because our modules have been nerfed. He's reking people. Then he runs into two players who have the new hull alterations for afterburn immunity. Whoops! Now he's nerfed! And is even without his alteration, because Firebird's direct damage is calibrated to the fact it does afterburn, Aha! He equips incendiary mix--which he apparently has to also have, to be viable. So then the hull guys have to put on their Firebird protection modules (whatever its dumb name is.) He's nerfed again.

It's a da mn chess match played in the garage, instead of with skill on the field. It's making no one happy but the devs, who are apparently giddy with childlike delight--all except Pony Tail Boy (that IS funny), who is cackilng at how well he's serving his purse-string-holding overlords, who demand an ever-swelling bottom line--okay, this last paragraph is getting wild, but still, it's becoming a bloody mess.

wow...you've certainly changed your tune since the days when you were a reporter or moderator (I kinda forget...maybe both?).  It's hard to see this game deteriorating since it used to be such a blast to play.  We the lucky, who got to enjoy it in its heyday, can't help but feel cheated and saddened by our loss of a really great game.  i think it is even harder to see the game getting worse and worse every update rather than if it had just ended one day....gone.

Anyway, I'm glad to see your thoughts and posts now.  They really add to the forum now as opposed to the days when you were the devil's advocate (at best).

Honestly, I don't mind alterations being discontinued (in essence, that's seems to be what's happening).  The big trouble I see is that the players with alterations from our time fame now, will have HUGE advantage over new players (there's got to be a couple, right?) and players as they rise in rank.  It will be YEARS before the playing field is leveled.  I sincerely doubt that Tanki has years left, especially if they continue as they have in the past few years with all these horrendous and poorly thought out updates.

What I can't comprehend is introducing NEW alterations for hulls...what in the world are they thinking???  The only explanation is that somewhere down the road, alterations by choice and not luck will be offered through some sort of method designed to make Tanki more money.   I have no idea how they will structure it, but I have complete and utter confidence in Tanki's greed.

When are they planning to shutdown this game ? it is turning into a joke. First when buying supplies became a thing, tankoins, no crystals for kits and now we can not even buy alterations with crystals. Wait what about protection module unbalancing game for thunder/rail, why did he even mention that ?. gameplay have become pointless for non buyers. this is too much.

Can the devs do something about Isida.  currently the only way to play and have even average score with isida is to burn 100s of supplies in a match. most of the time if double damage is not active target uses mines to stop isida and kill it. I die before I even reach my 1st target sometimes. Why not make an alteration for self healing while firing at enemy in exchange of healing teammates. since healing has become impractical. everyone has repair supplies or target is using double damage. in short there is no time to heal. Score with Isida is always low. I even have MK7+ isida but I ended up making another account since game became too difficult without always using supplies.

They can't, they need to make money with TO to try and develop a couple other games before this one crash in fire. TO is their only cash cow right now, and player base diminishes over time, buyers are likely rarer since most veterans have already a LOT of everything. So the theory that they are out for a cash grab makes plenty of sense, and the tactic is sound (for new players, and rich buyers).

Alternativa seems to have a rich history of non-communication with its player base, a practice that clearly shows the lack of interest in player feedback, at least as far as money is involved. Why would complaining change it now?

 

At this point hey just need TO to last long enough to have (another) successful game rolling and bringing in the money they need to endure.
