Specific Equipment Special Missions

 

Hi folks, this topic is for discussing Tanki’s “Special Missions” for Holidays and Events that require specific equipment to complete them. Do you think it is fair to expect a player to be able to switch combos anytime? Are these missions only for buyers? Is your combo due for the next mission? Remember, this is not for complaining about the devs, only for a clear argument of your opinion.

Special Missions were announced this past February. Many of them are EXP, battle score, supplies, or gold box missions that all players can equally play. Many of them were standard missions with an extra twist. Yet, this month they got equipment specific. Therefore, it is certainly not enough time for devs to have evened out all the missions. Additionally, there are other holiday factors such as maps that may help certain players, yet will be too complicated to debate in this topic. The same goes for the rewards, which are debatable, and may require other missions to get a packaged reward. Here I will calculate which combo specific missions were implanted, and which ones are still waiting their turn. I will also rate out of 5, how hard I feel each mission is. Feel free to disagree below.

Well. Special missions are an extra from what we had before. It doesn't bother me if I am not able to do it. Most of them require too much time anyway.

I would like to know how you created that table. I see no option to do that. Also, I see many people use larger text sizes, but I don't see such an option

I have no issue with special missions as of now. Our current special missions is most solvent in our current form, especially considering that regardless of the turret/hull requirements, buyers/hard-core players would be the only ones to be able to actually complete the mission. Given that the reward is just a cosmetic, I see no harm.

As long as they don't become a part of daily and weekly missions, I really don't care.

Containers and items like drones and supplies are not "cosmetic".

Lockdown event that has missions based on garage equipment awards items+supplies+paints+skins

The previous weekend event 9based on garage items) awarded Ultra Containers - the ONLY way you can get hull alterations

One special mission- Use 300 Wasp ODs gave Blaster drone as reward.

Many special missions, restricted to certain turrets or hulls, offer supplies.

Recently, the use Hunter OD 50 times mission was there that gave Ultra containers as reward.

These aren't mere cosmetics.

You are right you can't make a table through through the actual forum, I made it in Word,and then I copied it here.

Wasp mission was kinda annoying, I knew I could do it on my lower ranked acc. but the reward was a drone I'd need ages to unlock, so I passed.

I'd like Ricochet to get a mission, but that's likely cause I'm very biased towards it

Fix your poll - you have required fields.  If I pick buyers-only first question I'm certainly not picking anything in other 2.

When you receive the drone, you are able to use it regardless of your rank, as long as you have batteries and likely double damages to operate it.

You may be a buyer, and you think no one else but you can do it, as you yourself find it challenging. I would change that, but how do I make a question not required?

What?

I'm not a buyer.  These special events are designed for buyers who have lots of combos.

No idea.  Add another option that says "none-of-the-above" if you can't figure out how to make optional.

I totally agree! Also, the recent selection of holiday maps were bad for melees, so they do need a boost.

I was, uh... a pretty big fan of the 50 Kills with Firebird/Freeze/Isida mission...
