How Tanki DIED and what should be done

Hey guys, look at it this way

Imagine tanki online as if it was a pipe

Said pipe has many, many MANY holes, leaking water all over the place.

Sometimes the water pressure risks of making the pipe explode, which can be prevented if the holes were patched.

The developers of the game are simply patching the pipe "just enough" for it to not explode, while continuing to create more and more leaks

leaks = bad updates

patches = good updates

water pressure = players

pipe explosion = game death

There's no point in "hoping this game will be revived" i hoped for 10 years now, and lately i've seen some of the worst updates ever being introduced, they are simply doing it on purpose, they want to see how far they can push their greediness before it will backfire hard.

I stils wonder how us players managed to ACCEPT the introduction of something as overpowered as Hopper, for how long are we going to let them make fun of us like this? How far will WE let them go? Sure the game is theirs, but us players are the life that keeps it alive, if we pull the plug, the game dies. Will the developers take this massive risk? Most of the playerbase already left, let's see how long it will take for the rest of the players to abandon this game. Aside the buyers that keep mindlessly dumping money into it.

Remember when they decided to remove ALL the alterations from the garage and shove them into containers? That was one of the points the pipe risked exploding due to the pressure of the water, that update received SO MUCH flame, that IT HAD TO be reverted, so that means players still have the power of hitting the devs with the karma bat.

Let's make it clear, i'm not inviting anyone into a revolt, i just want you guys to open your eyes and reflect carefully to how you see this game, what you think about it, and how YOU will react to the garbage the devs will shove in it in the future.

I find it hilarious how some of the people in here try to defend the game, hopelessly listing the "good things" while the list of trash this game has, is more than ten times big.

Very nicely put, viva la revolution.

As for the trash, It's more like 50X.

The only ones that religiously defend the game at any cost ( ? )  their fav emoji, are the mods and the wannabe's.

10 days and we will pass a year from this reply.

Game is not popular yet, latest updates have been more negative than positive.

Overdrives not microupgradable? Crusader has entered the lobby. Of which damage can be alterered by drones/supplies quote 'like drug addicts'.

Mobile version, not my speciality.

Flash is dead, html getting some changes soon.

Tanki was not resurrected last year and doesn't look like there will be much of a change this year.

And another year has passed and it only got worse, exponentially worse.

How tanki died: everything aimed for buyers, what can be done: dont put money to this game to show developers game is alive because of players still having some will power to "accept" dumb p2w updates.

no money = Alternativa cannot keep the company = tanki is closed forever

You made a few solid points but this ain't it.

Haha I agree, those boxes were terrible for the game, people would forget about the objectives and farm those boxes. I was pretty active on the forum during 2017-8, and I complained incessantly. My username is a prime example of this. The truth is, games can't stay popular forever. As the fellow earlier mentioned about diep.io, people will move on. That's how it is; yes, many some of the updates over the years were terrible, but it is what it is. We thought our complaining would do something back then, and I see that sentiment hasn't changed today. Just go with the flow until you too move on. :wink:. Man these are legacy emotes now? :biggrin:
