Augments are back!

TO still need to make money, the all-in system the containers did not work, so they are trying something else. Turret Augments are more expensive now and the hulls Augments only for buyers if you really want them quick then you will have to pay.
With turret Augments back to the garage we won back the strategy to buy what we need, and at any ranks, but we got the another Augment for hull as a P2W feature. Hopefully they will only stay in the shop untill they find a new gimmick to sell.
They probably add both options in mind from the start (to be able to implement this change that quick).

Great news for strategy.

Respect for listening to players, But, you've raised the alteration's price for absolutely no reason. The augment's tankoins price should've maximum been 1,000 tankoins, so at least it would've been affordable for every player.

This is not a compromise its an Illusion. What they did again as always give unfair advantage to crazy players who spend lots of real currency. Do they really not have any sense of fairness.

Interesting how 15% of the players and 100% of the "helpers" tink this is a good update.  While the other 85% of the players ... not so much.

Okay, for once they heard us, but still situation ain't any good. These augments cost almost as much as a mk7, making it only affordable by the high ranks. What's the point of having augments if only the top players can afford them? Previously they unlocked with the ranks, and had prices accordingly. Now even for previously cheap alterations like turret rotation for Magnum and Vulcan's quick turn you have to pay 245k? I remember they were not even 50k before.

 

Most people don't know here but the only reason we have 2 cheap augments is because they are used for eSports.

 

So to sum it up.. was this just another way to increase pricing? There's literally no reason to have these price rise. Everyone knew how overpowered and unbalanced the gauss alteration was, which btw.. was pay to get only... Now you have a solution for it.. but wait.. that too is paid to get only. So there's you're literally acquiring nothing except money here. Release an op alteration for money and then give it a nerf but that too for money only. 

 

I get that some augments were buffed especially the large calibre rounds of railgun but in reality they needed no change, not a single person ever would've said that they're overpowered/underpowered so these changes was not needed at all. Over that it's now been given a higher rarity which shows that tanki I'd aware how op it is and wants it to be hard to obtain. 

 

If you really wanna fix your mistakes, revert back to the day ultra containers came except add the hull augments available for purchase for crystals too (immunity ones)

Does no one else smell a rat?  Maybe I'm just too paranoid but this all smacks of "false flag". 

Tanki's main concern is, and has been for years, bottom line....making money.  So they take something that makes them money (alterations) and have them only available in containers....basically free but difficult to obtain.  But still a rather significant loss of Tanki income since no one can buy alterations anymore...at all.  We players don't question idiotic updates because we have seen so many idiotic updates, but we complain like we always do when there is an idiotic update.  Did Tanki know we would complain? 

Sure they did!...and they were counting on it.  So a few days after the update they basically remove the unpopular update...days only (hours really).  Do they EVER do this?    No they don't.  So being the sympathetic and concerned company Tanki has shown itself to be in the past, they reverse and update and let us buy alterations again.  Wait, but at an outrageously increased price.  Oh yeah, don't forget the couple of days notice where it was recommend that you buy up all the alts you could because it would be your last chance (ya think they sold a few alts that way ...hummmm?)

So now the sting of alts increasing astronomically in price is mitigated because at least players (or buyers really) can buy them again.  And many on this very forum are praising Tanki for "listening" to feedback....ahaahaaahaaaaaaaa!

It's patently obvious to me that Tanki NEVER intended to lose income from alts in containers only.  This was a ruse designed only to pave the way for an outrageous price increase.        ....And we're thanking them for it!       ahahaaahhahaahahaaahaaaahaaaaaa!

Buyers - yeah - they can afford it.  But the rest of us?  5000 TK?   Not a chance.

100% agree, made a double bluff system only so they could increase the prices of the augments.

See, The problem with the people who say that we should be thankful that they gave us back the ability to buy "augments" from garage again is that, They don't see that this isn't listening to players...
This is like super ridiculous. You take something that was just a change to the turret's specifications away at garage, Classify it and then put it in containers. Now that the players are unhappy, You give the right to buy them at the garage again but this time with a higher price just to make it look more cool and challenging witch is not BTW. It just becomes more pay to win.. (Also Guru Meme for this whole paragraph because it backfired)

Very much appreciate. This new alteration/augment system is perfect, better than from containers only, and also better than the status quo ante where weapons alterations/augments made an incomprehensible pricing jungle in the garage, many of them too cheap in comparison with other stuff. Well done, Tanki developers!

Goodbye firebird... even people who aren't hardcore buyers will still scratch together enough tankoins for immunity...

I really think hull alts should've stayed in conts. Just not turrets...

It is a devs fantasy. Apparently there is too many protection module for these 2 turrets, so if you are ones railgun or thunder fanatics you will have hard time playing compared to the other turrets. The idea from the devs, I think, was to increase the potency of other less used turret (freez, firebird) vie removal of the freez and afterburn from the protection modules against freez and firebird. But it seems that it did not happen, instead the railgun or thunder fanatics are now using other turrets (according to the first post) - there is probably slightly more protection module of the other turrets but at 250k it will take some time to have a significant amount of players to invest in new module. So their plan did not bear the right fruits. lol. There is maybe more to it, but I can't figure what, because the new system do not change the parameters in anyway. lol

The prices are raised because they are now no longer shifts in parameters but actual improvements.
