I do wonder though why only 2 alterations are in the cheapest category. I'd expect some of the more basic ones to be quite cheap too, like high pressure pump, or stabilised/destabilised rounds.

Perhaps it's based on how much additional power they give.

Thats something i wondered aswell... there should be three levels of pricing when it comes to augments and they should be equal on how many augments are there, like 50k, 100k and 150k and those TK hulls should costs less.
With that said i think each TK augment should be like 2k - 3k ( since if u just give it cheap, people gonna buy EMP / Stun Immunity so bye bye balance ) but thats why we need augments to stay in containers, but they should have their own rarity ( somewhere between rare and epic ) and u cant get that rarity again once u have all augments.

With the hull alts I kind of get it. The idea is to make them less common so that the corresponding turrets don't suffer as much. So there may be 1 or 2 players with the hull alts on the enemy team, and yes - they will be OP, but at least it's not like the whole enemy team is immune to fire while you're playing with firebird.

You could say that it won't happen anyway because different people would be using different hull alterations and it would be very unlikely to get a whole enemy team that decides to be immune to fire, but with 5 useful battle alterations divided among 8 enemies, the odds of lots of enemies being protected from your turret are about the same as for modules, of which there are 14 and 3 slots. 

It's another story when the alt is used to completely mitigate Vulcan's main disadvantage - that one is really game-breaking. I really hope Devs will devise a different kind of disadvantage to counteract that combo.

If it does not benefit me I'll be taking it as negative.

My Fox module has been rendered useless - all those crystals spent for nothing.  And surprise-surprise - there a lots of firebirds in battle.  And you know why? Because they realize defenders have NO protection against compact tanks.

you don't need that much money to run a game why u keep making the game worst i dont get it be happy with the 1k players left stop this greed and hunger for more money

Heat immunity with vulcan is too OP, that's why..

You actually do, u need to money to run a server and update it ( since a server has RAM, SSD like every other PC and stuff ) which are more expensive than buying it for a personal computer. Also new tech comes all the time so.. ( like new Ram generation is coming 2021 and will become mainstream in 2022 - 2023 ).
You also need to pay devs, artists and game designers, community managers, janitors ( dev room's need to be cleaned, they cant work in junk ) and so on... and those salaries need to be enough so they can actually pay bills and buy food / clothes and other stuff.

This is just me saying what i know, and i assume there is even more. 
Also keep in mind that comparing to 2014, the development team has actually doubled.

3.5k is better than 1k which u get from a gold box if u ask me, but true, still tho the crystal on common should be 5k while supplies should be removed outright ( especially mines ).

I also think we should be able to get some Tankoins from normal containers so people who buy containers have a risk of essentially getting nothing ( since they would get like 5 / 10 / 25 for common / uncommon / rare rarity and one container is 150TK so... ),while people who just do missions ( mostly non-buyers ) have a way to get some more TK and maybe have the ability to get something from the shop faster comparing to now ( like Battle Pass or something like that ).

BTW its also annoying for me when i see that in Challenge there is a color shot i already own, like its annoying for me and a lot other people, which is why we should Color Shot containers ( maybe even Paint Containers aswell ).

Ouch, that has just got to hurt.  All that time spamming mines, just to get mines....and lose 75 mines in the process.  That is just bloody awful...condolences.

Well, I'm basing it on the fact that the announcement specifically mentions a rail alt moving from Epic to Rare tier. They wouldn't do that if alts were to be removed from containers anyway.

I think it's worthwhile to analyze things:

Why change access to Alterations for turrets as well , if you only meant to help hulls alteration of ruining the game's balance??

I think the answer provided by Tanki is halfhearted as it does escape the main issue and only focuses on a part which is misleading to the core of the issue, which was making content that was available in garage privatized

there's no obligation to "keep value of augments and updated containers" , as Tanki haven't had any extra expenses and could revert to Turrets alterations old self

it's not a valid argument if you only add the words 'in order to ... we have to' it should make sense too
