But with the fire and freeze immunity alts, those two became even more useful because they are unaffected by the alts.

ok so far looking good .. but in the end what is going to cost us players.. will there be a higher cost on items or what ?

. bring back drug kits in garage and in shops for the larger amount sizes....

I think the answer provided by Tanki is halfhearted as it does escape the main issue and only focuses on a part which is misleading to the core of the issue, which was making content that was available in garage privatized 
 

there's no obligation to "keep value of augments and updated containers" , as Tanki haven't had any extra expenses and could revert to Turrets alterations old self

it's not a valid argument if you only add the words 'in order to ... we have to' it should make sense too

The actual increase in price happened when during the last update, when items that were available in the garage for 20k are as rare in containers as 100k crystals. They are keeping the value at the same price as its rarity in crystals.

Lol who on earth that is F2P is going to get 5k tankoins to have a hull alt at least there was a small chance on getting in containers, when somthing is bad but tanki makes it horrible

Nice. Those who complain about the hull alt for tankoins cant understand the huge advantage that those augments give? I got the Stun Immunity in the 3rd ultra container of the missions and it is really OP, you dont lose flags, balls...or when you are running for a gold, god.... And im not talking about the cold and fire ones, that are more OP than this one. It is understandable the price of them if you have already tried one

if you can explain why the turret alteration should conform to the containers rarity, and not the rarity itself to conform to the old alteration price (which has been the purchase price for years)

why only you want to apply logic to Alteration prices vs containers rarity, Zeus paint (500k crystals) is still counted as rare paint..

I have a bridge you might be interested in.  It's a lovely reddish rust color and has a breathtaking view of San Fransisco Bay.  I can let it go really cheap...just for you  ?

Of course they do - why do you think they are complaining?   Because TO has put them in the shop out of reach of non-buyers.

So buyers can cap flags way more often, and non-buyers have ZERO protection against afterburn.

This "update" just makes it all worse.

It's just another reason why immunity alterations should never have been added into the game in the first place.

I never said that it should be this way, I agree with you. I was just noting that this change had already been slipped in during the last update, when the rarity assigned was not the same as the price. So technically this idea does not raise any prices, although it should be rescinded to the levels of before Patch Update. #600

5k tankoins for alts is a little waaaay to high

Come on guys

Just make it so we can buy only one alt per hull and the rest go away for that hull

simple and easy soulution

It's easy to get these Tankoin Hull alts. All you need to do is use hundreds of thousands of drugs to collect 36000 stars to complete 36 challenges. In the meantime complete every single mission to collect every weekly container till you have 468 weekly containers, then you'll have enough tankoins from challenges and weekly conts to buy a hull alt in a year and a half. Should only take a few thousand hours of your life. pffff!!!

Obviously I joke, but when you look at it like that the cost is insane. Another source of Tankoins is needed I reckon. Or a buff on weekly container Tankoins. All things in the game that give in-game advantage should be available to free players and anyone that supports the game with small or medium donations..with a reasonable amount of effort dependant on the quality of the item.

Main reason to not have loads of people with these Tankoin Hull effects seems to be that it'll be bad for fire/freeze/hunter & whatever else problems these immunities create. Why add them into the game then? now they're in the game they're giving an advantage to whoever has them, while most others wont have them for ages.

And the Turret Augment prices are total insane too. 245k to make Rico or Twins a bit better at long range?. Nah!!

On the plus side, I bought some of the cheaper alterations for some of my turrets before they got moved to containers. Thunder Subcaliber bought for 25k (i think) is now costing 245k.
