Augments are back!

Question:  Are days of Premium still available from containers? 

I thought I saw someone mention on the forum somewhere that Premium days were not in containers any more since the Ultracontainers (damn there are way too many kinds of friggin' containers).  I can't find the comment now and the Wiki still shows that Premium is still a possible reward from either containers or ultracontainers....but maybe the Wiki is not current?

Any insights?

There no point on adding them if no one can buy them. 

 

Only people who can buy them are those who could afford containers for augments back then

That was likely an exaggeration, but not really, because that's what it feels like. 

 

You could open 15 containers and it will skim through the entire uncommon section, give you everything there but premium, and go onto the next rarity. Or even worse, it can skim through the entire rare section and not give you premium. 

 

It's rare to get it in Containers, likely because it's so valuable. When you get premium you actually feel comfortable playing the game, like your efforts are actually rewarded at the end of the battle. And you advance farther in the challenges for the same effort. It's no surprise that it's near non-existant in container rewards.

Fantastic! This is a great update! I know we had it before and there's the argument that it didn't need to happen, but the fact that augmentations got added to containers is no longer that bad. Saving up 4990 tankoins to buy a single hull alteration would be challenging to say the least for non-buyers, so now augmentations for hulls can be acquired through containers.

You could say I got lucky as a non buyer
However , if the matter of discussion is "Possibility of getting premium and hull alts" - then YES , you can get it

i mean face it guys .tanki didnt listen to us (the general people) .very probably buyers started quitting as the chance of getting alts in containers are very low much less getting one u actually want .i mean even the buyers arent that stupid .so of course now we get back alterations at inflated prices and for tankoins so that the buyers can stay happy and most of u (not understanding their plan) stay happy .i only say most cause i saw many on this topic happy .the upside is even tho we cant buy every alt we want now ,we may get some from the containers and cn buy the ones we need.its harsh luck for the low and medium ranked players ofc .so if u guys want it to change - start a mutiny again .if alternativa reduces the price of the alts well know they do listen to us .if not it means im a hundred percent correct

Wait can someone tell me why they increased augments to such a ridiculously high price?? Also what the point of buying it with crystals if you can get from containers already. Is tanki trying to rob money of people?

There are different types of buyer on MMO games. Some support the game with massive amounts of cash constantly. Some will spend a couple of hundred in one go, then that's all they're willing to ever spend. Others will gladly donate 5 or 10 bucks a month and that's their limit, out of personal circumstance or simply because they don't want to spend more than that on any MMO game in any 1 transaction.

Adding expensive in-game advantages favours one type of buyer over another. Why should a buyer that's donated 100's or even 1000's of bucks to the game with 100's of micro-transactions over many years be disadvantaged by a new update cos they don't want to blow 40 bucks in one go, on a game they've already blown loads of cash on?...Expensive paints and skins is one thing, they give no battle advantage. Expensive in-game advantages are making this game into pay-to-win wallet wars.

Besides blowing cash on this game is risky. Tanki have a history of effectively nerfing stuff you buy. Look at EMP alteration for Gauss as a prime example. If you bought it from the shop a few weeks back you'll now see there are new expensive hull augments that render it useless.

Why? In XP/BP all you need is a Railgun and either Hornet or Wasp. Being legend 11, i have no doubt you got both. Xp/Bp is all about skills and pride, so all you need is a win.

You are absolutely right my brother, but don't you need crystals to upgrade your garage? We need crystals to buy a lot of alterations used in parkour tournaments and in esports as well. Don't you think we have any right to upgrade our garage? Or shall players like me stuck at 7500 GS forever. And if you would talk about MM, I tried a lot to play there, but I only suffer there always... So XP/BP was the only source of income for me

I got some Premium from containers recently, from a normal ones, but need to check the date re ultra containers

But it is very rare. I've got almost a year of containers on my spreadsheet now and less than 1% of my containers have been 10 days Premium ones (can't remember the percentage for 3 days)

You have a better chance of getting an Epic container than a Rare one with 10 days Premium

The developers already reversed (made it less bad) the big update so I think this change can happen and should happen.

I'm pretty sure they make it so if you're using firebird, and you get frozen by freeze, you can shoot to unfreeze yourself. Kinda like using firer to unfreeze teammates

Most players will die of old age before saving that. Or the game will.

Except you can't flame yourself - the fire shoots away from your tank.    Same with Freeze - you can't cool yourself since the beam projects away from your hull.

It would take you approximately 1.5 years of doing all weekly missions and finishing every challenge
