On what device are you opening them and when do you usually open them?

 

I open mine on mobile around 3 hours before the daily mission update and I've been getting some decent rewards pretty often.

I've been only on mobile since July. 

 

I open them when I reach 5 which takes two weeks' worth of missions.

I see.

 

I would recommend opening them up when it's the first day of the new week of your daily missions.

For example, a couple of my accounts have daily missions Monday to Thursday. Meaning I would claim the containers on Thursday and wait til Monday to open them.
