Boosting funds and experience for the whole summer

Finally, after 10 years of Tanki Online i have Legend 100 and still continue to play, i know before was maximum rank Marshal or Generalissimo, but now is much better with Legend infinite number. Thanks for this boost of experience and please to be permanent, also and boost of funds very important.

CONGRATS, although the boosted funds should only be for legends, mabey gizmos and not for any other ranks. It is causing major problems for the other ranks trying to keep up with the upgrades, although i suspect the devs know this and don't give a damn, hoping the lower ranked players will spend cash on upgrades to offset their lofty rise through the ranks.

I may have not understood this post, but

You don't have to fully MU things before unlock ranks any more if you want to buy the next Mk for 0 crystals

I have lots of low MK equipment on some of my accounts, including a Mk2/8 Titan on one of them (the account is Colonel rank). I still have the choice of buying the last two MUs for that Titan and saving some crystals or buying Mk3 if I don't want to wait

If you keep MU-ing the Hunter, you will be able to get the Mk6 for 0 crystals at any rank when you have done 10 steps. But if you buy the Mk6 immediately after you get to Colonel, then that would be a waste of crystals

If you meant that ranking up so fast (if you don't just do missions) means that MUs are possibly a waste of crystals because you'll get to the unlock rank and be able to buy the next Mk in a sale before you have finished 10 steps, then apologies

Looks like they have updated the wiki. In my mind I had a wiki quote stating that you had to fully upgrade an item to get it for "free" when it unlocks, but if you were too late upgrading (so finishing upgrade 10/10 after the unlocking rank) you still had to pay full price.

You only have to buy it at full prize if the previous modification was not at fully micro upgraded. But you can still micro-up it to Mk6-10 and then buy the mk-7 for free.

The statement is true in the sense of not being to get the next Mk of an item for "free" until it is completely micro-upgraded, but before the Mk update you could only get the "free" item during the unlock rank

If you didn't completely micro-upgrade the item before the next rank, you wouldn't get it for "free" and you would have wasted crystals on micro-upgrades

This is why I didn't micro-upgrade many M1 protection modules because there were often not enough sales between the unlock rank for M1 and the unlock rank for M2

But with the Mk update requiring everyone to buy all previous Mks of an item unless they buy a product kit, that one rank window for zero crystal purchases of fully micro-upgraded items had to go

It was true but with stipulations.

You can't upgrade for free if you had unlocked the item 2 above the one you were upgrading.

If you had m1 item you were upgrading and then unlocked the m3 version, you could not get the m2 for free when m1 was m1.10.  In this case upgrading the m1 further was a waste of crystals.

Not as relevant now - since you can/need to buy all mk levels.

But a few years back when they separated protections from paints it was relevant.  I had the original Cherry paint from a Kit and it had m1-vulcan/m2-twins/m2-Thunder.  When they separated the protections I was left with m1-vulcan and I was a Marshal.  So I was stuck and could not upgrade the vulcan.  But if you bought the same kit AFTER that, you got all 3 protections at m3!   Talk a bout bad timing...

This is not a nightmare. For me as a Legend ranked player, it is very beneficial for me to rank 3x faster and earn 40,000 crystals per every new Legend rank. I am so happy to move ahead and progress into higher Legend ranks, so this summer boost is very helpful for me. By the way, I have 8 days of Premium left which further boosts my experience points in battles. I love it. I wish this experiment was a permanent feature.

Stop being selfish, it's an intentional nightmare for others. It's better you enjoy yourself and let others complain. Hopefully this stupid experiment will end soon, at least for non-Legend ranks.

I am not being selfish. I gave my opinion for myself. You may find this boost a bad thing, so I agree. This is only an experiment so it will be fine tuned after this experiment ends. We will see what's to come after this experiment boost ends.

I really want to do missions on my main account again, but know I can't or it'll be at a severe disadvantage when it reaches marshal rank and is up against legends.

3x exp is not what I call appreciating. It ruins game balance. Why on earth was this implemented cuz experience is to be earned by.... experience(and skill). Getting 3x for each is just.... idk doesn’t seem right? Like last week I see a friend of mine at Lieutenant General. Today I see him at commander...

Why do you want to rank up so fast? The only point of doing so is getting 40k crystals which can be earned easily with this current boost. It still does take up quite a bit of time to rank up for Legends.

Well since he's already a legend ranked player, it'll only just benefit him.

 

For non-legend players, ranking up will only put you at a greater disadvantage.

 

The only thing that this exp boost would've been useful in is if we still had those exp missions.
