personally  i wont recommend RFM with mammoth .lc or hc are both better choices  with a heavy hull .im gonna rank once and wait for piranha or sniper kit and if i have enough ,i'll get rfm even tho im perfectly happy with lc .won a matchup (came in 3rd position) playing against legends and then  another one with 21 kills 4 deaths .

oh no i wont be using it with mammoth i already have hornet mk8, my mammoth and eagle module was Mk5 so this was a prefect saving of crystal for me 

yea i want to get all the alts for shaft but my first goal is the one they buffed. 

dam LC seems interesting.

LC is interesting .thanks to @Tidebreaker ,my sniping skills have increased a lot in a very short time .he's the one who suggested it .lemme give two examples of how cool it can be -

1.parma ctf .my team was not good at all ,they could get the flags but not capture it .i was using hunter shaft .we lost the flag and they had ours almost captured .only 2-3 mammoth length distance left .turned on dd and shot the carrier instantly .someone else took the flag and again charged and fired on him in a flash .also dead .i killed two more players who tried to cap it .one of my teammates luckily returned the flag as a mammoth OD bulldozed me from behind .the opposition was so angry they wanted to report me as a hacker 

2.highways assault .19 kills 3 death .there was some guy on the opposition insulting shafts and others on our team .guy stopped for a moment and called me a camper .i replied that a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do .he suddenly complimented my sniper skills and went back to playing. admittedly i was surprised

Since you can get many "instant kills" with hornet-OD sans luck, I stand by my statement your post makes no sense.

Did the railgun get a bump? I know that the Vulcan got a stealth nerf, but recently (last 2 days) I've been getting one shotted by railgun (not using hornet OD). I am a maxed out Viking with 47% protection vs. rails. Anyone else having that happen?

What alterations were these Railguns using? LCR with Booster is enough to take out a medium hull with 50% protection (no DA). RD can have even more damage than LCR. It may also be a Hyperspace Railgun that shot through two players before it hit you...with Booster.

That's impressive. What's really odd is that this has NOT happened to me since I've returned to tanki until this week. Normally I assume it is a hornet/rail in OD mode. But not recently. I know a few times they were using LCR for sure. I have the RD, but it simply isn't consistent enough to one shot the same tank multiple times in one game...at least that has been my experience.

The Hyperspace might be the kicker however. I just am so used to being one-shotted by hornet+magnum/rail/gauss that when it isn't a hornet I don't worry too much.

I can tell you that RFM feels like it got silently nerfed firerate-wise - I can't spam as fast as I used to for certain. In that case, your assumption about Rail being tweaked silently would make sense. While I don't have any official confirmation, I'm assuming that this is what took place.

Really? It seems to fire at the same rate to me.

it did get a charge in between shots delay ,so after 3 shots it kinda takes a while to spam
