Half the drones in the game should be removed. They dont make sense in game, or just suck for its price. I don't want the devs to "buff" them just to make them into the meta, because they'll just break the game. Same goes for Striker.

And my favorite drone is Brutus.

Miner, Engineer, Camper, Trickster, Driver, and Hyperion. They all suck, low play rates, taking game space, and don't fit the balance.

Why do they "suck"? They all fill different niches and if you don't like that niche, use a Drone that is right for you. Low playrate would mean that another drone fills their niche, for example, Booster and Defender. Both are monumental drones that allow you to come first place due to what they allow you to do. Booster allows you to get many kills and Defender the same and also flag and rugby captures. The other drones have their own applications and players that enjoy using them.

 

I enjoy using Miner. Before its first buff, it was impractical to use it in MM if you weren't using Mortar Magnum. After the buff it is now practical on anything and it has saved my team many times. 

 

Engineer is great for lone-wolfing while also supporting your entire spawned team. Engineer can also bypass smart cooldowns from manually activated supplies due to the extended duration of the picked up supply. 

 

Camper is an amazing drone with great value at higher upgrades. This drone also does not need maximum upgrades due to how the supply reload speed increase is distributed throughout the upgrades.

 

Trickster far from sucks and you can see why it doesn't here.

 

Driver far from sucks and can be a game changer when used with Dictator or Hornet. 

 

I don't have Hyperion but seems to be proven useful near maximum upgrades.

Hmmm, I have never seen anybody play these drones in MM in the past 2 months.

Lifeguard with the light and medium hulls and firebird.

Don't know about everyone else but I use a shaft and was having a blast one-shotting most tanks until other players ranks started creeping past major general.

ah... happy times.

Now I have to pray I've got enough time to get another shot off.

thats why i keep some distance even with light capacitors .you never know whats gonna happen ,so better safe than sorry

Hi there, my most used drone is Booster (dûh), for it helps me out with using Light Capacitors. However, I also own and regularly use Camper and Trickster and I can tell you that both drones are by far not useless. 

 

Trickster is a great drone - To start off, Trickster cancels all cooldowns the moment a speed boost supply is being used. It does not matter if you used the supply yourself or picked it up along the way, using this drone smartly can result in a couple of minutes with little to no cooldowns at all, and this can come as an unpleasant surprise for the enemy. Also, Trickster does not need any micro-upgrades at all in order to batlle effectively with! The only parameter that increases is the range of effectiveness, meaning to what extent team-members can profit from this drone - Trickster is a support drone - but since Trickster can be used both team-oriented and individually, MUs are no mandatory thing to do. 
As a matter of fact, many players use this drone, they are not uncommon at all. 

The Camper drone is somewhat different compared to the other support drones: it is the only one of the series that does not share any benefits with teammates. Spawning in a battle makes the Camper drone charge itself - a 7 second charge-time wil take place before the drone itself activates, Camper is also the only drone that has a charge time. Afterwards, cooldowns and smart cooldowns are drastically decreased; a maxed-out Camper allows you to use all supplies within 2 seconds, mines can be placed every five seconds and the regular cooldown is set to 5 seconds. At lower upgrade levels, this drone still shows itself usefull, for a general cooldown decrease of some seconds is not something that should be ignored. The main downgrade of this drone is the obligation to not lose any health points, for the drone does only function when your tank is at full HP. This is a very crucial aspect of this drone, since keeping your health at max is extremely hard to do, even camping at your teams base does not go without any scratch for splash-damage and infiltrators are things to take into account. As a Camper-user, you can activate the repair supply and use your drone again; being the main solution for previously mentioned issue results in a great loss in repair kits. This requirement makes the drone less wanted compared to other drones, but people who are fully committed to this drone and can use it within its ful extent find themselves to be in a favorable position in combat. 
This is probably one of, if not, the hardest drone to use. Even for a base-camper this drone may not be ideal. But the drone has lots of capabilities and is theoretically also one of the better ones, functionally being a bargain-Hyperion

However, one thing yellowghetto said is right, they ruin game balance(excluding drones like trooper)

In what way do Trickster and Camper ruin game balance? Prove me wrong if drones such as Booster and Defender are mostly game-changing. I was reacting to Getto's view on what drones should be deleted, not to what effects drones have on gameplay.

When 2 drones (Defender and Booster) with other valid options like Saboteur, Blaster, Mechanic, Lifeguard, Supplier, and Crisis in the game  being the game's most used, affects nearly all MM battles, it means the other drones just suck and the 4 I mentioned above are the worst. It isn't that hard to understand and there really is no need to defend them when all drones eat 1 battery. The only reason you might want them is if you are pay to win and you absolutely need it for your rank. Seriously.
