Cost of everything

I did some research and some testing and concluded that to fully upgrade something costs about 2m. So everything all together costs about 42m. Now my question is why does everything have to be so expensive? Why don't we have a good way to make money for non buyers? And why is this game so pay to win? Please do something to make non buyers happy too.

It is possible (quite easy, actually) to have some very strong equipment without buying within the game. Personally, I would suggest playing eSports tournaments, as they have quite large amounts of prizes for playing, even if you can't manage to win. You can find tournament information here.

Without Speed Ups it only costs abt 500k to m4 something. For me I just upgrade all my equipment once every sale. That way, I'm only spending about 350k on m4

You have to be smart, buying all turret and all hull is unrealistic, you need to focus on one or 2 combos. And the top protection modules. OMG you have bought all the turret in the game, and all at Mk2 except one. Same with the Hulls!!! Don't do that. You wasted crystals that you could have use to max up one combo. Now you have a grasp of all the turrets/hull game-play, pros and cons - you can choose the one that you like best.

The game is pay to win, because it needs helps to pay/fiance the people that manage it and create new features.

with the trend of them over buffing a turret for a couple of moths then nerfing it and then over buffing buffing another turret. it it really too much to ask to have every turret maxed within at least 5 years, FTP Players want to enjoy the temporary over buff they do to please the buyers too. 

i have been playing for 8 years as a FTP and im still a long way off from maxing everything. it will take the average FTP more than 10 years maybe more idk

when you buy the most expensive things at half price and do MU at -25% it will bring the nummer down. also did u include speed ups?. not much players have everything fully upgraded. i advice you to upgrade 2 turrets, 1 hull, all protection modules and then buy other things and last but not least have fun.

how  about 3 days of 6x xp and 4x cry?

2 TURRETS 2 HULLS and as many high end protection modules you can afford.If you want to last in battle without getting killed to many times i suggest defender drone and mu it as much as you can. Drones are the only things that don't need upgrading at different ranks meaning you don't have to keep buying the same drone to compete at diff rank levels. It will still cost you a fortune in cry but it's the only way to compete if you want to make any impact in battles.

What is the next best drone at the lower levels if we don't have rank access to Defender?

as a 9 year old player i can also tell you that the game economy has changed alot.

here you would think that that was the golden age to buy such stuff but then it was as costly as it is now accordibg to our income.

I would hang on until you can get defender you would only be wasting cry on the drones below that. They are ok at the very low ranks, but not really any good from 3rd lieutenant onwards where you can come up against MK6 combo's. My best advice from experience, save up for defender and upgrade it as much as you can.This is a short video of what a maxed out defender can do. notice the time it takes to activate DA after ive 1st activated DD.

Yeah but the more upgrades the better chance of surviving in battle and driver is pants compared to defender and i didn't no that about upgrades as i maxed out my defender straight away as i had the cry to do it. And it's the 1st account iv'e used it on as i liked to use sprinter a lot.

Still my argument holds it's best to wait and use whatever cry you can save for a drone that will last you all the way thru the ranks with good results.(my opinion of course)

It is not "quite easy" for f2p to get a good full MU'ed garage of a few turrets, hulls, drones, modules, drugs, etc within the confines of normal gameplay...which is what TS is eluding to. In fact, it's extremely difficult if you make common mistakes with early rank purchases and then don't take advantage of certain things like sales, events or container premium during x2 funds. Even then it takes many 100's of hours of battling and takes a lot of patience to wait for sales. MU'ing gear once during sales takes ages. especially mk7 gear.

Yes!!, definately possible, but not easy in a game where devs like to have OP nonsense combos in it that make any combo that you have that is not OP look like junk after you spent 100's of hours mu'ing it, which happens at an ever increasing rate as you rank up. In fairness f2p can get lucky if devs happen to buff their equipment, then you gotta make hay while the sun shines and rinse everything you can out of the game, saving crystals to buy the next OP joke combo devs callously dump into the game.

Always the same with guys that complain about equipment expense, they all made the mistake of buying too much gear early on.
Buy too much gear and you're disadvantaged against the ones that didn't, especially buyers and high ranks on their alt accounts...you then see your rewards get gradually worse as you rank up and simply cannot keep up. Especially now ranking up is stupidly quick for newbies that just play the game normally and are not clued up about the game.

For every match in Blitz tournaments, clans get AT LEAST 20,000 crystals, that's a respectable amount. I find it humorous that some people on this Forum take large chunks of their time to complain about it being impossible to earn crystals within the game, when they could be spending this time practicing eSports, which would supply them with LARGE amounts of crystals...

For low ranks this is nice, especially if you play hard format. But what was the minimum ranks of the participants? While it is nice to do e-sport is not playing the game.

Let the whiners whine , "impossible" is a large exaggeration proportional to their frustration.
