I-would-like-to-delete-my-account.png

Thanks all for being great friends and awesome enemies on the field of battle! I've had an insane three years of intense stalemates, humiliating losses, epic wins, and the classic case of being forced to leave when you are first place and the fund is super high.

Do take care all!

Gonna ask customer service to delete my account but wanted to offer some final thoughts with y’all.
1. The developers will never listen to your feedback, I know from experience. They are trying (and failing) to attract the mobile game market and to appease their shareholders.

2. The EN community is dead. When was the last time there was a topic that genuinely made you laugh? Most posts are boring rant posts like this one. TPOTD is dead as well, and forum games have died.

3. The gameplay of Tanki is insanely stale. Spawn, 234, shoot, and die because you didn’t shell out fifteen dollars for a alteration. Or better yet, die from some lowlife lag switching.

To the community, take care and don’t rage too hard when you miss a gold. It’s not worth losing your sanity over 1000 crystals ;p. It’s been an awesome 3 years in this community and I wouldn’t change a bit except for finishing my “Problems of TO” series, but oh well.

@Opex-Rah, if by any chance you are reading this... you are no better than the CEO who greenlit Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight.

Personally I like the forum, and the developers actually listened to us some times. For example, they added back augments, nerfed vulcan, and added back crystal boxes. Tanki's not dead (or dying).

They did NOT listen to us - that was planned from the start.

Take something away.  Many complaints.

Add it back - BUT - increase the price by a LOT.    Players rejoice.

You really think they "listened to us"?

I'm still not over this. It hurts me to see Support Nanobots costing 245k, and some of the previously 20k alterations costing 245k.

When the rumors were out there before the loss of access my alt bought 2 hammer alts.  Saved a bundle I guess.  And I didnt even own hammer yet...

I will tel you why developers didn't listen to us, basically they knows everything about the game and know what's wrong and what's right, they didn't need us to tell him that,

they knows when they make a weapon OP than other they knows when they ruin the game play by make it extremely Pay-to-Win they knows that isn't a suit thing when they put important alteration with tankoins, while anything will affect in game play it should be can obtainable by playing not with real money.

but they need money.

This makes me sad as well. Alterations were meant to help non buyers, now only the ones who play only during 2X funds can buy them (and only during sales). Slugger shouldn't cost 96k.

Please don't delete your account. Deleting your account as a protest simply isn't worth it.

He's not deleting his account in protest. He's deleting his account because he's just simply tired of all the crap the devs have pumped into the game for the last year and a half. He simply just lost interest.

Couldn't he just not use his account? if I were to stop playing the game, I would just not log in.

Sorry to break it to you but that was never the case. Alts were originally meant as sidegrades for people who were skilled with the turret. Dev team decided that alts should be direct upgrades, starting with the Vulcan alt. I tried to warn everybody, but was dismissed. Now we have direct p2w upgrades only for payers (hull alts).

96k?   It's 149k/75k.  And that's the cheapest alteration for Hammer.

That would've been the most logical thing to do. But then again it's his account, he can do what ever he wants with it.

Also there's the threat of someone trying to take his nickname (I think).

Sorry to see you go.  I understand the frustration with the road Tanki has taken.  I keep finding ways to enjoy the game and then the devs update something that fouls up what i was focusing on.  I imagine I will eventually be joining you in Un-Tanki.

Most of my posts are complaints because there is so very much to complain about.  I will miss your support, comments, criticisms, and insights on the forum.  I hope you plan to check in from time to time.  Who knows, you may even decide to start another account someday...they are still free...at least for now ?

Best of luck in all your endeavors.

I completely agree with all the rest of your points, but this one I disagree with to some extent. The EN community is far from dead.

The main reason topics aren't making me laugh is because, like you'd explain in your next sentence, most aren't supposed to make you laugh. You're correct -- most posts are boring rant posts.

No topic lasts forever. People probably aren't interested in posting loss after loss after loss in battles, but that doesn't mean the community is dead.

As for Forum Games, over the past two or so months I've seen a major boost in activity there, dunno what you mean by that.

The EN community is far from dead. Sure, most of the funny, interesting, and popular topics have died, but there are still a lot of posts daily.

The EN community is dying rapidly in the creativity department. Most have moved on to complaining about game updates. But the community in of itself is not dead.

The creativity is almost dead, but the community is not. Most are trying to change the developers by the sheer amount of opposition, but it will do nothing. Sadly, it seems for a while, or potentially forever, the community will post the same topic but reworded, and hope for a different result.

But hey, it's the effort that counts, right?

That actually is the best form of protest, i log in to collect my premium do missions and that's it. In the last challenge i had completed it with 4 days to spare....that was 2 accounts. haven't even finished it on 1 acc this time and i'm not bothered if i do it or not.
