I have seen isida's on New Year map but they usually end up not in the first place - I can't judge at the moment because I have only played 3-4 battles in that map, it is extremely boring but really easy to catch kills and end up in the first place + get 6 stars.

Isida has the easiest lock on tanki. The beam even goes through the wall and manages to kill it's opponent. I have played with isida many times and all I can say is - it is the most easiest turret to earn kills + score.

Through walls?  No.  That is lag.

And as for scoring - they have nerfed the healing scoring again.  I spent an entire battle healing players, so much so that I always ran out of juice. I had to wait many times for it to replenish.  My scoring was near bottom.

Moral is - don't bother healing if you need points - just use DD and get kills. TO apparently does not want us to heal.

Isida is hardly OP.  Can only attack for 5 seconds.  Any heavy hull with protection is basically unkillable.

How do you figure it is most powerfull attacker?  Can not compare to Twins or Firebird on sheer killing power.

And Isida has pretty much the worst alterations.

FYI... this is not a role-playing game, so there are no "healers".  It can heal, but that is only half of the picture.

But hey - I'm all for TO removing DMs from missions so I don't have to switch those, or do them if I have even crappier mission.

And DM is not a "format" mode that restricts equipment.  So why you want Isida banned is beyond me.

You don't have issues with Hammer-duplets?

Dude, you are crazy. Isida can take out two tanks in five seconds. Nothing else can do that. Well, I suppose Freeze and Firebird can, but that is a point I've made often. The short range weapons are totally OP.

I've played Twins too many hours to listen to anyone pretend it is OP. Twins is a brawler. Keep a little distance, and you can beat it any time. Not so for Isida. It just kills you.

Of course, if you want to play my game and ram me and brawl, yeah, I'll beat you two out of three. Unless you are using Isida or Freeze.

I didn't say DM is a format mode, but it is just like the format modes. It would be easy to not allow Isida in DM. DM probably shouldn't allow Magnum either.

If there is more than one Hammer in a battle, I put on my 40+ protection. Hammer ceases to be any concern. My 40+ Isida (and Freeze) protection don't really make much difference.

Every Isida I have seen in Legend DM battles end up in the middle or the bottom because of everyone stealing their kills.

The only Isida I've seen in the New Year map came almost last because the Ricochets and Uranium Strikers were licking up everyone they were attacking. They can only prioritise one person. Every other turret beside Shaft and Vulcan can take on more than 1 enemy at a time. Isidas cannot.

Isida only has 5 seconds of ammo. Compare that to Twins' infinite ammo. Compare that to Ricochet's 29 ball magazine. Compare that to Duplet Hammer ramming everyone into the concrete.

Why do you hate Isida so much? Isida has a hard time locking on to people. And when you lock on, sometimes the beam isn't stable enough to hold on or it holds on but deals no damage which wastes, on average, 2 seconds of your precious and scarce ammo. If Isida should be unequpable then every turret except Vulcan and Shaft should be unequipable.

I hate Isida because Isida stink. Isida is the word meaning the putrid stench of cowardice.

About 1 in 4 Isida are effective team players that know how to actually help and not get in the way and screwing up defense or assaults or flag runs. Most Isida seem to not care about healing teammates. It is what I see, what I have seen in nearly four years with this game, with six accounts from 2LT to Legend, with 288,469 kills and 4,328,637 experience (total for all six accounts), I think I've seen a little.

I never see anything you mention. I think people make stuff up. (You can look up my Profiles.)

BTW, I'm usually referring to multilevel Legends. Players that have used Isida enough to know how to capitalize on its strengths and minimize exposure to its weaknesses.

Isida is a team support weapon. So is Magnum. Therefore, neither should be allowed in DM.

So 5 battles of complete boredom...

Hold on...

You are telling a player it's them and not the game, and maybe they should go play something else? :o   :D

I hope you don't have a job in sales... <_<

As for frustration factor - it is there for real.  And I guess you are ignoring fact that many players are 9, 10, 11, 12, etc.

You know, there's a reason why people can't drive until they are 16, can't vote until 18 and can't drink until 19/21 ...

Complaint: WEEKLY MISSION

This is the THIRD TIME in 5 weeks that i receive the mission: GET TOP 3 IN WINNING TEAM IN 15 BATTLES

THE THIRD TIME IN 5 WEEKS!!

IT COSTS ME 1,5 WEEK TO FINISH THIS AWFULL, IMPOSSIBLE, BAD NOOB MISSION!

SO 3 TIMES IN A ROW TANKI GIVES ME THIS IMPOSSIBLE NOOB WEEK MISSION!
3 TIMES IN A ROW! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!

I HATE IT!

The suggestion and solution, of course is:

(1) to remove this impossible noob mission from weekly missions altogether

(2) to vary weekly missions and not give a player this impossible, stupid noob mission 3 times in a row!

(3) give player the optiontoalter 1 weekly mission per week

Thank you, and merry christmas for you all and your loved ones

Weekly mission : working on this for more than a week (almost two) now.

Come on, developers !

For a good player this might be a piece of cake, but for an average player like me this is almost impossible. And surely I am not the only one struggling with this kind of missions.

And even if I end up in the top 3 of a loosing party I get nothing - rien - nada - zilch - nichts - niets.

These kind of missions should be banned.

I fully agree with you! I got it 3 times in a row!

The only way out is in DM get 1 of the top 3 places, not in team battles but in DM.

It costs you a lot of drugs - mostly heals - to get just 1 container

In this 1 container I once got the awfull 125 speedboosts........

Dude I have all turrets in M4 and if I thought isida was that OP I would play nothing else. It is not - people with high Legend ranks with isida protection will kill you. Like you are not even there. In fact I think isida may even be a little UP. Flamer is the most OP turret in my opinion, or maybe freeze with alteration. One Poly game earlier, a Marshall freeze kept killing us all and taking the flag. Could NOT stop him. Isida can't do that.

Given 4.8M experience (Legend16), you are hard to argue with. That is, I respect your perspective. You speak from experience.

Still, you play with Smoky. That sets you apart.

People occasionally complain Smoky is OP, but the response is always heavy laughter. Anyone with experience in this game knows Smoky is a difficult turret to master.

I suspect (I assume), like me, you can't stand camping. Still assuming, but I doubt you prefer to brush and bump like I do. My general tendency is to rush enemies and crush them with my Twins. I was using Vulcan a lot before the last round of changes, which totally thwarted the tactics I'd developed and they style I employed. I can still fight effectively with Thunder and Titan. I stay back more, but I still tend to rush in where angels fear. As Ricosck, I play Rico-Dictator exclusively. First place happens often enough.

With Ricosck, more than any other turret, Isida is the most problem. Perhaps it is because I like to play so close in, and Isida seems to always win. (And Freeze.)

For skilled players, it seems to me the best turrets are Rail, Thunder, Smoky, Ricochet, in that order. (Striker and Magnum may be better currently, but they are too rare still to determine.)

I consider Isida totally noob. Anyone can fight with it with even the most rudimentary skills. People say such things about plasma, but pay attention. Players that can't turn their turrets and don't understand the strengths and weaknesses of Twins or Ricochet cannot be very effective. Sure, they get their kills. They probably usually get Stars, but they are never a big factor in the battle, never someone who makes you drop to the garage and change protection modules. Isida is. (Freeze not so much, because that slow-down is just too effective for a skilled Freeze player.)

Golfinray, I'll appreciate reading your response to my assertions.

You can post all the links you want - won't solve the issues that developers are creating IN THE GAME.

But I'm sure the 10-year old players will be flocking to that site.    Bravo!

Nah, the link is for you. My niece has no issue with the game and she is 9 years old, this evening she managed to earn a couple of time 3 stars and also managed to lose badly some battle, but with all her innocence she said that she did it on purpose (lol).

You seems to be the one frustrated, and the trigger is the game apparently, so if you follow the link you will find tool to help you out (look especially on chapter 4 - managed your expectation of others).

For sure I can write and say all I want and you will do whatever you want, the link remains free.

Magnum with the mine alt is planting mines even when it shoots a team mate. When it hits a team mate the mine shouldn't be planted, the alt is OP already in maps like Noise and Silence.

Seriously, can people look into this?

Now, there's a suspicious amount of low rankers (tankers below Warrant Officer 1) with more than 180 gold boxes caught. This is most likely after the 24th of December's madness. Player v7.7's rating doesn't make sense to me though, the guy only earned 61 crystals in the account's entire lifespan (I'm pretty sure with his statistics, anyone would assume he made that account maybe a month ago or recently). The guy dropped no gold boxes to indicate that he dropped it for himself. It would be impossible to drop any gold boxes specifically for that person because the PRO battle pass unlocks at Warrant Officer 1.

His K/D suggests that he doesn't shoot, he only goes for golds. This is also the behaviour shown by the numerous speed hackers I encountered on Monday. He used many supplies. as you can see after looking at his profile, Double Armour, Speed Boost and Repair Kit are the most used supplies by far. Hmmm, sounds just like the minimum requirement for proper gold hunting in the meteor shower. Coincidence?

Couple this with the fact he only played DM for the entirety of his account AND that the stats show that he played this week and not last week (This week started on Sunday) I can only assume that the guy ruined 454 chances for a good hard working new or alt. account player to get a gold.

Obviously, I can't call the guy a hacker because I don't have proof but my complaint is that too many of these players are ruining the experience for other hardworking players in the low ranks. If the people like these are hackers, the devs need to look into this soon as the future of the game would rest on the new players' backs.

Weren't you playing before The Great Leveling? Don't you remember how this game used to be?

Have you worked hard at things only have them taken away when the Devs change something drastically?

The game used to be mostly fun with some frustrations associated with team imbalance. Now, it is mostly frustration with little that is fun.

In general, ties go to both.

Why is top three not awarded for ties?

I had high score on the winning team until literally the last second, when the other team scored a flag and tied it. I got first-place crystals, but did not increment my mission. (If it hadn't ended 2 to 2, I'd have assumed it was the seventh flag.)

Why?

It makes a mission that is too hard even harder, even more frustrating.

I know it's your "job" to defend the game - no matter what the Devs do to ruin it.

But it's almost like blind ignorance with you - the Devs can seem to do no wrong.   Have some integrity.

I am amazed you still play this such frustrating game. To you they keep making it worse year after years and you are here still playing it, you either greatly egaxerate the issue or you have a sort of thing about punishing yourself.

Providing you with help on how to manage frustration definitly deserve to be tag as defending the game. Way to go. As for knowing my job, you clearly have no clue what it is actually about nor you understand what TO is about. Till you see the drivers and the grand design behind it you will never quite understand. You keep dealing with absolutes, but not everything is white or black.

That user is definitely a hacker, at that rank you can only use Repair Kits and Speed Boosts, not the other supplies. S/he played for 16.7 hours, likely during the 20x Golds. The 58 kills are probably due to mines he accidentally dropped and from Overdrives. 454 golds in 16.7 is about 27 golds per hour.

That account should be banned forever.

The supplies hack is hard to detect that's why some tanks appear to always have drugs on and are hard to kill. Honest non buyers have little chance in the new Tanki for buyers and cheaters. I'll play until my equipment is no longer strong enough to compete, which already feels like it is with Kits now selling in the Shop two ranks earlier than in the Garage.

I could buy, and was about to, but that would feel like taking unfair advantage on other non buyers.

Well I can swear that he/she is a hacker. But they have a GS of 1666 at the moment. And with M0 that does mean this guy has a lot of supplies... but idk how he caught so many golds...

Maybe the player bought a bunch of gold boxes and had a Pro-battle goldbox party with a couple of friends.

I've recorded and reported cheaters. I've missed recording and reported anyway, hoping to establish a little extra evidence, but most of the cheating I see, I can't really prove. Tanki takes the same attitude. Some things look like cheating but have reasonable explanations. I try not to be harsh when I'm not sure. (I try. Sometimes I fail.)

No one here has a "job" to defend anything. You're forgetting that TO helpers are volunteers, players that are spending their free time and energy to make the community better and more enjoyable for all of us. Yes, they are compensated with crystals for their services but do you really believe that someone would spend day after day arguing the point unless they actually enjoy the game and find something worthwhile in fighting for it? None of us is here because we're forced to, we're here because we really like the game and the community and we're proudly standing behind the effort we've putting into it.

I'm not saying things cannot be better, everything in life has potential to be better, in every given moment. You guys know we're open for criticism and we do forward all of your feedback to devs. But none of us has ever made a game from the scratch and none of us was personally engaged in gaming project that is now almost 10 years old. Yes, we all play games but most people don't have a clue how it all looks like from the other side. And also, we're not talking about EA or Bethesda or Blizzard or any other huge video game corporation, we're talking about a small company from Russia that Tanki was its first project. It somehow became globally popular and grew to compete with much newer games, built on totally different technologies and concepts.

In short, I agree with Viking, none of us knows all the details and information that devs check and see on daily basis. Nor any of us is a business manager that actually runs a gaming company. What we can and should do is to simply relax and enjoy this game and its events, contests and tournaments that are constantly made for everyone to take part in, if they want to. If they don't, oh well, there are plenty of other games out there they might enjoy more. In the meantime, the rest of us will keep working hard to make this game and this community enjoyable for all.

I recall a time MUs were customizable - each specific parameter could be updated independent of the other.  Then that was taken away because it was "too complicated".  So OverDrives and Drones, etc are simplifying things?  <_<

The Devs either have no clue about introducing balanced changes, or they deliberately introduce changes that will "encourage" players to spend crystals on the OP-Flavour-of-the-month".  You can't seriously say with a straight face that Magnum, or the new Freeze or Fire, or half the new Alterations are balanced, can you?   :o

I keep hoping that the Devs will actually do something positive for the game.

Either they don't have a clue how to do that, or just don't care.

I never saw any helper logging in just to praise some update. They log in to express their excitement about some news (like launching of NY Marathon), to work (mods do need to moderate, you know), to participate in discussions and games... And yes, to express their own personal thoughts that doesn't always have to be positive, opinions do differ after all. But in contrast to them and their activity, I see the same group of players who are logging into the forum only to complain and rant about the same things over and over again, for months and months. Still staying in the game they vowed they were leaving years ago?

So ask yourself, would helpers and those players still be willing to spend their time here if they are deeply unsatisfied with the game? Or is it possible that they actually like being part of it? That they enjoy the community, have fun playing with friends they met in this game? Can you hold it against them just because you aren't?

You make it sound like it has to be one or the other... they can enjoy the game still, but - also praise every new update - even the ones that are obviously ridiculous.
