Fair point, updated. Since it's 4 year old topic, it's high time to update its purpose and adapt it to current system of community management. 

What is the current system of community management?

CopperO sharing the weekly report is good but few will check the second post, I think. Maybe also post along new posts, or maybe not.

We'll definitely take that into consideration. The reason there's an overview on the first page is that it's easy to find (compared to anywhere else in the topic) and it's where players who discover this topic will start from.

7 minute battles.... the time constraint means u get only 1 over drive that is useful the second, frequently now comes 5 seconds before the end of the battle and is of no use

 

 

7 minute battles allowing for 2 minutes grace on join time its now impossible for battle moderators to get 5 minutes video for proof of game violators, let alone get a team to vote for cheats. Bury your head in the sand once more about this on going issue thanks tanki.

 

In the last year i have only seen 1 battle moderator analysis despite 50% of battles having cheats, sabos and multis. In what way do  7 minute battles help this situation improve. Trying to sell this as good because we get more funds is well a white wash in  reality.

If any devs are reading this then you must change the maps in matchmaking. It is so boring playing the same maps over and over again. I feel like taking a hiatus because it is that boring.

 

Also wolvenstein and forest are the worst. Please get rid of those maps from matchmaking.

Yeah - those "daily" missions to use OverDrive 10 times will be just awesome now  :rolleyes:

We already forwarded to developers about search option not working properly on the forum.

Lots of things are not working properly on the forum, but I thought we would move to the same kind of forum as the Russian one?

Eventually, yes. Hopefully the will finish Overdrives and fix MMS first.

This complaint is missing from the list of complaints.

 

Many times when I change a Deathmatch mission I get another Deathmatch. I think it's less with other battle modes but it happens too.

 

When I get Deathmatch, Assault and sometimes Capture Point missions, I don't play.

Happens with all the modes for me.

 

For daily missions I might have  earn score in...    DM  +  RGBY + CTF

With 3 different modes I get no synergies and must play many battles to complete daily mission.

So I use free switch on RGBY and get... earn #### crystals in RGBY.    Gee thanks! :wacko:

We've forwarded this a while back already (in 2018), which is why I initially didn't add it to the list in the second post, but I'll add it.

List of reported issues in 2019

 

 

The list will be updated on a weekly basis


  • There's too much focus on developing new things and not enough on fixing issues in the game 
  • Too much power is sold for real money (product kits, drones, battle pass..). This discourages new players 
  • Players feel the developers are not considering feedback from players enough
  • Sandal is too crowded for MM battles 
  • It’s a lot harder and more time consuming to finish missions with shorter battles 
  • MM maps were made too uniform, there should be more variation
  • The YoutuberTO site is partially in Russian, it's missing info on when the rewards are sent and a number of players hasn't received promo codes
  • The indicator on the mission icon in the lobby is obsolete. To get rid of the indicator, the mission window has to be closed and re-opened again
  • The rewards of the 2nd challenge are too low and garage paints aren't motivational
  • The word ‘frag’ used to describe kills has a negative connotation 
  • Garage loads too slow for changing equipment when battles are so short  
  • It’s difficult to earn score and stars when battles are only 7 minutes
  • Battles finish too soon with the updated score caps
  • In 7 minute battles, players can only use overdrive once. This will also make completing the overdrive missions harder 
  • 7 minute battles are too short to vote or record battle violators
  • Players want maps changed in matchmaking, because it is boring to play the same maps over and over again
  • Search function on the forum does not work
  • Players are being sent to matchmaking battles that are nearly finished (< 2 minutes left on the clock)
  • Rank range in matchmaking battles is too wide
  • Teams in matchmaking battles are not balanced
  • It's hard to earn stars because of the above three issues and the minimum amount of score required to get stars
  • Garage descriptions of drones and alterations don't contain enough information about the statistics
  • It takes too long for the EN Wiki to receive official information from the developers after new updates
  • The weekly mission ‘finish in top 3 15 times’ is too hard and takes too long to finish, it's impossible to change the mission 
  • It is unclear what modification a hull or turret is, because of gear score, shot colors and XTs

 

 

Wow you said a mouthful there. You touched on 25 points. 20 of them directly have affected my game experience. Though none of these are a laughing   matter? The two I find most annoying are; The extremely wide range of ranks in MM. Too many x's I'm playing against Legends. They could be Legend 2 or higher. 2nd one is Finish in the top 3 of a winning team 15 times. This is could be sooo funny if it wasn't so sad. I recieved this Mission on November of last year. I have only completed 5 out of the required 15. "5" No way to change it either. If my calculations are correct? I will not finish this Mission till Xmas of this year. LOL. :-(

Hmmmm. in 2018 and it is not fixed yet? Must be lower priority than shortening battle times and total flags and points! But hey, they cannot even get a reasonable rank spread in MM, so we should not set our expectation too high!

Battle list is not available for players below Warrant Officer, forcing new players into battles where their team is disadvantaged. Also, Vulcan sucks for the following reasons: 1. Easy to killsteal 2. Overheat is annoying af 3. Requires a coordinated team, but coordinating a team is like walking on water: you have to be Jesus to be able to do it. 4. Warrant Officer rank is needed as you need to select maps where you are advantaged.

 

I jumped into this game thinking it would a fun and simple game about tanks enjoyed by casual (Like me) and hardcore gamers alike. Well, it can be enjoyed only by hardcore gamers. So, I suggest either go right up frootnt and tell me that you do not want my kind here, or add a bot mode where me and other casuals can go play with bots at our skill level or each other. The problem with this is that sadistic unicums will make new accounts on casual mode and terrorize the casuals.

What you refer to as "casual mode" is actually the main mode - Match-Maker. 

80%+ of the players use match-maker because that's where missions are completed.

Using battle-list you can't complete missions or do special events.  But does give you much greater choices on playing conditions.

 

I agree the Devs ruined Vulcan when they "updated" the rotation and the spin-up time.  Way too slow for a game that is fast-paced.

 

Also agree that match-maker rank brackets are way too wide.

Battles would be better with tighter brackets and less tanks, even if you have to wait a little longer each time to play.

What's the point of getting into a battle quickly if the battle is just unbalanced and terrible.  It's a waste of time.

I read the entire wiki page on the Match-Maker but the only thing that says how it groups players up is by rank and "other factors" (Whatever those are, somebody please tell me). But then again, some players who are cruel enough make new accounts, or just gain skill very fast. So my solution is that the Match-Makers tracks the IP Address of the player and sees how much time they have spent in battles. For example, players with 8 hours of experience should only encounter players with 7-9 hours of experience. This would also eliminate the need for casual mode entirely.

your idea may seem very simple in your perspective, but it needs a lot of work to be applied, and what i mean by "a lot of work" is a lot and lot of work.

Well please report the issue with inactive players in matchmaking battles to developers. I posted a complaint about it here for that reason and someone moved it to the matchmaking topic.

 

Doesn't bother me having posts moved as long as I think the post served its purpose, which it didn't if you guys don't make devs aware that it's still an issue that's spoiling my enjoyment of the game. AKA..a complaint.

Players don't just create alternate accounts to be "cruel".

 

As you rank up in TO it's impossible to have everything - you need to make tough choices and choose a path with specific equipment.

 

So once players (like me) reach Legend with current account we start over with a new one and select equipment we did not use the first time around.  So my alternate account uses Freeze and Vulcan.

 

It's not about being cruel.  It's about having a different experience and keeping up interest in the game.

We move posts for a reason. That isn't new nor urgent issue and hence has been moved to proper topic. All topics are moderated and all feedback is forwarded to devs, so you don't have to repeat the same issues over and over again in multiple topics, we are aware of them.

Mines are a problem. Mines detract from the game. Mines are everywhere, and they account for an even higher respawn rate.

 

Much too much time in a seven minute match is spent respawning. Everything is harder to accomplish.

 

Obviously the Devs did NOT test adding so many mines to the game.

Its honestly quite a conundrum. Mines are weak normally, but add in these drones and they become OP...
