There is over 300 pages about the matchmaking system on EN and RU forums, at least 80 % of the posts have something negative to say about MM in EN. Since I do not speak russian, I cannot make any claims for RU forum, but what I have read on the thread about MM, the comments there are a lot worse. So, how'bout making the MM optional?

If the HTML5 version of the game lags for you, I definitely recommend switching back to the flash version of the game for the time being, using this link: tankionline.com/flash.

I know that this isn't what many players want to hear, but currently they're working on improving the matchmaking system and not on making it an optional feature. For the players that don't want to use the matchmaking system, there's the option to play PRO battles. At the expense of missions though.

You're right, that's definitely a reason for concern. In order for matchmaking to work as intended, it's imperative that enough players use the matchmaking system.

Today I tried playing on the spanish servers.. about 2 thousand players online but i got sent to battles  instantly 90% of the time and the other 10% i got sent to battle in no more than 10 seconds.

 

I usually lag more on spanish servers because I am in france and that is far closer to the EU servers than the US servers...

 

So i think that with fewer players you get sent to battles more quickly because when there's a lot of players the server can't handle the stress.

Interesting, those battles had ranks within a proper range (not too much difference) and they were filled? 

It would definitely explain players reporting increased lags after the update, apart from the usual loading issues that occur after every update.

yes, actually rank brackets were even closer... I'm a 3rd lieutenant there and all those battles i joined were wo3 to 2nd lieutenant. and yes, they were all filled.

Now with these drones ( or whatever they are called xD ) I wana test them out in test server. Obvousily when its actually available for public testing. But it needs to be done on a browser. So could you make it possible to go on test server via client? Like a mode when you log in? I cant do nothing on browsers xD. Thanks ^^ ^_^

It's not about lags. But on everything else.

You play on 5 maps only, 10 ranks higher accs, not able to choose side, to rematch....

This should be a request to the devs, posted in Ideas and Suggestions.

It is possible that the test server will have less lag than the mains.

Um, does anyone know where the friends in my Friends list went?  Only four remain (clan tanks but not even the whole clan). Yet, when I sent a new friend request to a former known friend (clan member) the system says we are friends and won't send the request. Just a temporary hiccup in Tankiland or did a ghost drone get into my list?

Because for one, they want to see matchmaking through and for two, TO has a fairly small team, they don't have the resources to work on many updates at once and rolling them out at high speed.

Mods won't be able to help except that they will pass the complaint/idea towards developers.

Like already said, there's no rule that forbids it, as long as all the game rules are respected.

Dating on the forum is probably not a good idea although there are no specific rules against it. If you find any posts or topics that you think violate the rules please report them.

I'm sorry, what kind of answer is that? I quit waiting in one line just to quit and start the whole process over again?  I just did what you said and finally at 2 minutes over the average got in BUT then it doesn't load and I get kicked for "inactivity".

This matchmaking is so frustrating. Also, I have yet to land on defense in the assault section. I can't even stay in one game to switch sides after the round.

Thank you for letting us know the timer issue hasn't been fixed yet. In the meantime my advice to you would be to press 'exit' if the waiting time lasts more than a few minutes and then try again, it should take you to a battle in a lot less time.

For M3 kits - yes you have to wait 2 ranks.

 

As for M2 kits (which you likely don't want now) you have exceeded the unlock rank for items in current cycle.

I had a (triple) module with Shaft protection all lined up - was unlocked for my alt account at rank of Captain..

So I was waiting for the birthday sale to get it at 50%.  Then they did the Module "break-up".

 

Waiting for the sale was a HUGE mistake.

For the cost of a single module now I could have had protection from 3 modules. Now Shaft protection is only available at Major. :o

nope - consequently plenty of time to MU your M2s and enjoy fighting against M2 or you can save + until you reach the rank to buy M3 kits (+ some MU).
