what is said above about magnum is true. I like to add something here. My magnum is 13/20. Whenever I shoot medium hull with DD dirictly the damage is never above 3000 hp but when I shoot exactly same  2nd shot then damage is around 3500-4000 hp.

guys i have been lagging for the last 10 days -,- my ping used to be at 89- 99 but for the last 10 or 15 days after some nub updates they have done my ping goes to 250- 500, and there is no problem with my connection as i checked with my isp, and there are more people experincing the same thing.. any help ?

so what I want to know is .. why is it ok to discus the quest game and other contest game questions in tanki / open chat / clan chats / pm and others .. but were not allowed to chat any where for answers in those same locations for the TTC game ? There all a contest on the knowledge of the game . but if we go to chat about TTC then we get banned for it . which in theory really makes no sense when there all the same .

 

so I want this clarified and if so would like in the future to have rules on these contest posted for all to follow ..

the reason is simple TTC has higher reward and it is weekly.

Sharing answers in Newspaper contests and TTC is not allowed because in these contests the number of winners is limited. In "The Game" every participant who answers correctly will win something that's why you can share answers. It wouldn't make sense if everyone is rewarded in all contests just for pressing ctrl-c and ctrl-v.

For these questions, you'd be best off asking me directly but essentially, we (TTC) forbid the sharing of answers because by doing so, you are denying other participants who put a lot of time and effort into genuinely finding the answers. Obviously, this is unfair and because TTC is on such a smaller scale, it is easier to monitor and prevent this behavior.

No, most Contests are locked immediately to prevent discussion/spreading of answers once the Quiz goes live. They're only usually open if it's a writing contest or if it's the Lottery-style one where you post battle scores. Quizzes in the Newspaper are locked. TTC, however, often requires a lot of discussion/asking questions, etc. hence why we remain open. Additionally, we will never plan on making sharing answers allowed. Sorry.

I know players did chat about it  in private and in open chat . seen others talk about it when it was going on and no one banned those players.. also TTC wont be on for much longer , due to past contest they only ran for a few months .

Well we can't have eyes everywhere, can we? We can only put faith in the fact that people won't cheat. If they do, there's no way to stop them. And no, TTC has no plans on shutting down anytime soon, so please do not speculate as you are not behind the decisions of TTC.

Yes, I understand that, but it doesn't make sense to compare an old version of TTC, run by a completely different person to a brand new one. This TTC isn't making all our decisions based on the previous one. Despite the same name, we aren't the same thing.

wrong section to post in , but if  you clean out the cache it should help. if not check your system . there could be a updating going on from another company that would lag it. see on New Years day MSN did a up date and changes to there system which cause my computers to lag and I had to stay off for up to 6 hours ( plus others also updated ) . this might be another issue happening..

That is why they call it a battle not a slaughter. You want a slaughter. And that is what magnum did before the nerf - 3 magnums on the enemy team and you were done, Magnum needs to be nerfed much more. The splatter damage is still excessive.

 

But I would like to have a chance against 3 magnums and so would the rest of the team I  am on.

You're funny, Ofcourse freeze, fire, hammer cant 1 shot people, however they have other properties, like freeze's freeze ability, fires afterburn ability, Rico rebounce/ricochet projectiles and Thunder, Splash damage and Fast reloading. How about magnum? Magnum is hard to use, guessing the power and angle is always tough, so a magnum who is M4, should indeed be able to 1 shot a medium hull, while the medium hull is without any supplies.
