Experiences of coming back to a non tanki game after quitting the initial run.

So what are your experiences of returning to play non tanki games after quitting your first run?

Here's mine:

Talisman Online:

In my first run of this game, I had been playing it even before I came across tanki. My dad introduced it to me in 08 or 09 and it was a really intriguing game back then.

Fast forward to beginning of 2014, and I don't know what happened, I guess I just lost interest. And people coming and looking from me to kill with their OP status and rudeness of some of them did not help me stay. I said goodbye to whatever great friends I had, and then took all my frustrations out in the world chat and then just left.

Fast forward again to just a few days ago, and I decided to give the game another chance and noticed that they just recently released a mobile version of the game. Downloaded the game on my phone, and Damn so much has changed in 6 years, almost a whole new game for me.

Currently I'm a level 44 assassin. Would be rather ironic if I quit tanki just to play talisman more.

Mythborne:

After I left talisman, I was playing one of the games on kongregate when I saw an ad for this game, I guess it looked interesting, which was why I clicked it. It was very similar to talisman, which I liked.

I actually quit the first time I guess because of drama.

3 years later I gave it another chance and decided to just improve my gear rather than my mouth. My best achievement in that run would be leading a guild that took over the highest ranked guild in the server in an event for one time.

In the end however I quit the game again in beginning of 2019. My reasons were this:

· Events were spread through the whole day every day and if you didnt do them, you'd fall behind stat wise which was ludicrously repetitive.

· Many features stopped working properly, and bugs and glitches were a common occurrence. Because the devs stopped maintaining it.

· Not so much this, but would've been nice if the mobile version of this game was available.

I don't think I'll ever return to mythborne again unless they fix the two big issues with the game.

So what are your experiences? ?

Town of Salem:(a great game ruined by the playerbase)

went back after a year and immediately regretted it. I could instantly see why i quit the first time. It takes a lot of time and in the end, you'll probably lose because your team was stupid. After around 10 games(5 hours total, over the week) of smashing my head to the keyboard, i finally had a great game today(one of the best of the 700 games in my life). And now i have decided to stop for good this time. Leaving with the final memory of the game being a good one.

rocket league:

i just suck and always will suck, no idea how people do fancy ceiling shots, double touches and air dribbles

Clash of clans: I log in from time to time. Like once a month : P

Hill climb racing: Small game but fun.

LASR(LA Street racing): Fun but don’t play anymore tho I haven’t deleted it yet.

I’ve played more but can’t remember them.

Started playing in December of 2014, played until March of 2016. I loved it at first, but the rudeness of so many players ended up making the game feeling like a drag. That, combined with the issues with drugging at the time made me see the game as more of a chore than something to be enjoyed. I later played from time to time until 2017, but I guess I just got bored with the game and the people playing it, and I haven't played since.

From 2016 to something like 2018, I played World of Tanks, until I couldn't deal with the game economy anymore. Since then, I focused pretty hard on studies and work, until just recently when I've started gaming again. I've ended up playing Elite: Dangerous and Overwatch, both of which I greatly enjoy.

Still though, it's weird looking back at Tanki after so many years. I miss it in a way, especially being on the forums and debating.

Interesting video about Blade and Soul https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvD7_4O9JKA, can find a lot of similitude with TO.

would have to start from zero somewhere else

Come to rocket league, it's free.

Anyways the 2 games that I played most before I got to tanki were AQW and tank trouble. Every year or 2 I'll get on AQW for like a 2 day period and just grind out, and every once in a while I'll play some TT and slay out as well. Not much has been added to those games in terms of mechanics which is nice.

I also played a bit of DotA2. Now I have 1k hours lol.

Take a break from the intense games and relax a bit in talisman online mobile.

For me:

Clash of Clans: Started in August 2017, quit after 2 or 3 weeks. I came back in August 2018 when my friend @diamondcreeper159 persuaded me to. And now, we own two filled clans in that game XD.
(I quit in the first place cause I didn't know the game had a multiplayer feature LOL)

Brawl Stars: Started March 2019, quit after a week. I came back in summer of that year cause I was bored but the game turned out to be really fun. As of today, I have 9 maxed characters in the game.
(I quit in the first place cause it just kept crashing on my old device. Also because I would rather spend time player other games during that time)

Plants Vs Zombies 2: Started in 2017, quit 2 years later. I came back a few months ago cause before I quit, I spent five dollars on an in-app purchase XD. Also the game was still fun to play, but I was committed to working on my Clash of Clans clan.
(I quit in the first place because my device with the game broke. I decided not to go back immediately cause it wasn't on my priority list)
