After a long wait, Ares is here, and so is this contest! You're going to have to go way undercover to find the tanks we're looking for!

Finally, after a long wait, Ares has finally hit the shelves of garages and wowed us with its unique mechanics. Now, we're introducing a contest all about Ares!

 

 Task: Find and take screenshots of the following in MATCHMAKING battles:

1. Ares-Isida

2. An upside down Ares

Upload your screenshots to an image-hosting site and enter your responses in this Google Form. Entries posted elsewhere will not be considered.

 

 Rules:

1. Enter with one account only.

2. Make sure your full screen is visible - exp bar, crystals, you get the rest.

3. Quick third rule - no loopholes... you must be taking a picture of ANOTHER tank with the following characteristics above.

Entries not following the criteria will be immediately disqualified.

 

 Prizes:

A prize of 25 000 crystals will be given to eleven lucky winners, and four especially lucky winners will win 10 Gold Boxes and 5 Containers. (Just to make it clear, there are two winners for each of these special prizes)

Remember to turn in your entries before 2 October to be eligible to win these crystals.

NO you cant use your own tank.. that defeats the whole purpose!!

It seems that my Google Form and clarifying modules are currently undergoing fixing.

I forgot to add a space to submit nicknames, silly me... Don't worry though, you will not need to resubmit if your nickname is clearly shown on the screenshot. Thanks for your understanding.

A friendly reminder:

- As a general note, please refrain from collaborating with others. If you are to collaborate with a friend, please do not make it easily conspicuous. If I check your results and find hints of collaboration, I may be inclined to disqualify your results.

- Secondly, the rules have been updated. Please take your screenshots in Matchmaking battles. Any screenshot that is very obviously not in MM battles will be immediately disqualified.

Guys, as much as you would love to group with an Isida-Ares and flip it in battle, please do not do so until 1st October. Keep it as a last resort.

It'll defeat the purpose if you plan it beforehand. You are supposed to find Isida-Ares and flipped Ares, something which is quite rare. This is what makes the contest exciting!

@Person_Random, I hope full-screen is not compulsory, as most players play Tanki with the browser tabs open, and switching to full-screen just for a screenshot (which anyway takes time) is a bit difficult, as the flipped Ares might self-destruct or the Isida-Ares might move away...

Yeah, full screen is not necessary. Just make sure the entire Tanki screen with exp bar and nickname visible shows.

Both kinds.

There is a prize for each category: Isida-Ares, and flipped Ares.

You misunderstood...

4 especially lucky winners will get 10 golds and 5 conts means that each especially lucky winner will get 10 golds+5 conts. For one category, there will be 40 golds and 20 conts, equally distributed among 4 winners. Same for the second category. In total, there will be 8 "especially lucky winners", 4 for each category (Isida-Ares and flipped Ares), and the total prizes for "especially lucky" tankers are 80 golds and 40 conts. You can win in both categories.

Still, let @Person_Random clarify this, it'll be better!

You have to take a screenshot of an Ares-Isida, and another of a flipped Ares, not necessarily the same Ares-Isida. If the same Ares-Isida also flips in the battle, lucky you! However, you need 2 different screenshots for each category. The Ares-Isida should obviously be the right way up... XD

ohh but what if i had already submitted an entry being in a pro battle instead of mm just a day before when u guys changed the rules to MM allowed only? is that old entry going to get disqualified? should i make a 2nd entry, is there a 2nd entry allowed? because rules say u can give only 1 entry.

Just want you to know, in case you haven't understood (though I'm sure you have):

The flipped Ares needn't necessarily have Isida equipped. And anyway, you can't see the turret if the Ares is truly flipped... XD
