Questions for developers in the EN forum

Sadly, i have to realise that the only active staff member, who is the part of the 'developers team'  is @Marcus. While, on the RU forum there are a lot of active developers. Thanks to @TheCongoSpider, i've seen a topic called 'direct line to the developer' (https://ru.tankiforum.com/topic/270788/). I think it would be great to see the same in the EN forum, since i think the majority of the players don't know russian. I think this could help developers to know the english speaking players opinion, and good for the players since they can be well informed about plans and upcoming update. This topic could be managed by Marcus himself, or by an other developers. I hope we can ask our questions too in the future!

Under review

While it would be nice to have a similar topic to the RU forum, it might not be practical enough to be able to maintain. Since Tanki is a Russian game, most of the developers are naturally Russian, so you would expect that they have more staff in the RU community forum compared to EN. To leave such a topic down to just one person is kind of unfair especially since a lot of questions that will get asked will be easily answered by the EN community's helpers, especially the Forum Moderators. And while we already have a dedicated section for such questions, there's not really much need for your suggested topic. If players ask questions on the forum that us moderators cannot answer, we contact Marcus and find out the answer and relay it to you (if such information can be shared publicly), that is partially what we are here for. Further to this, Marcus does reply to relevant posts in topics regarding recent updates and V-logs. If you are passionate about hearing answers coming straight from the developers, there is nothing preventing you from posting on the RU topic you linked above, as you can simply use translator tools to write your question in Russian.

Well, In Q&A, as i see, there are mostly question about things realted to a player (lost account etc), or in general, while in that section, there are actually interesting and important questions. Also, asking a question directly to a developer is much better than asking it in that section (since the developers are who actually know the plans for the future.) Anyways, i hope it will be relased ?.

Ps: i do think Marcus doing his job well, i don't have any critism about him. I only thought this topic can be managed by one (or two?) developer(s) is because it looked like we have the same situation in the RU site. Of cousre, general questions can be answered by other, forum staff members.

To be honest the idea of having such topic has failed as you may see in the Russian forum. In my opinion, a Q&A livestream format is much better, I hope that we will have one this year.

Woah, Marcus himself. Well, i have to agree with you, because in a livestream, developers can watch every question and answer  it longly (if needed), but having a topic suggested would be useful because you can ask your question anytime. Also, an idea for the livestream: 1-2 days before the livestream, open a topic where players can asknquestions for the livestream, so everyone can ask his question, even he is sleeping under the stream.

Exactly, and I think for one livestream that happened in the past, one of our helpers actually went through and time stamped each individual idea that the developers spoke about which was really useful for players who wanted to get all the information quickly.

Due to the response from the developer himself, the status is changed from Under Review to Declined.

Now you know, who are their main target audience. It is the Russians, while the other communities are 2nd class citizens, despite the size of the player base of Russian and English community are more or less close to each other.

Here is a valid question right now, why has hornet been allowed to stay in the game with such a obvious OP overdrive for months.

Hornet's Overdrive is an exploit purposefully created by Tanki to keep the mega buyer kids hooked to the game and make them keep spending money for the easy "boom boom". And Tanki would rather loose thousands of players (mostly F2P) than anger those kids.

I don't really get what you meant by this. I don't play on this account, as it was just a test account to estimate how bad this "Hazel's baby" combo was, and I must say it's disgusting.

I guess you meant to refer to the pesky hornets in the middle and higher ranks.
