Meteorologically, Autumn has started in the Northern hemisphere, but in the game it looks like the Summer EXP and Reward boost continues.

Hopefully that boost will end soon.

If anyone has inside knowledge, please share, I won't tell anyone except everyone here.

I noticed this some days ago, images for Turrets and Hulls are shown as if all these equipment have M3 skin.

I think soon all tanks will get the M3 skins.

Good point. But I think they think the charm will come from special skins. Distinguishing is important though,

It's safe to assume that the exp boost is now a permanent thing.

This is true, but there are also significant disadvantages with having 4 free skins per item. First of all, it means that any new item added to the game will have to get 4 skins completely done before release. This was doable previously, but I think from now on any new item will only have the extra detailed, 3D "ultra" skins, just like Ares. Such skins look cool, but they also require 20x more time to create due to the extra modelling, texturing and animating required. Spending all that time on high quality skins which will be given for free anyway is a waste of resources.

The second reason is that developers plan to eventually convert ALL skins to the "ultra" style. I don't know whether that's still planned, but if it is, reducing the amount of skins that need converting would be a wise decision.

Maybe, but I doubt that the exp boost will be removed by then.

 

Besides, they already changed it from 3x exp boost to 2x exp boost, which means they're planning on making it easier to rank up. Only the legend ranks will benefit from it, everyone else will be put at a massive disadvantage.

I was checking Wikipedia and seems like it varies country by country.

But there's something, either in the VLog or the PreVLog, don't remember exactly wich, they talked about the coming festivities as the end of Summer. But they also archived the Summer Boost announcement a week ago. And then there's what DieselPlatinum claims, that they already did some changes.

Honestly, on HTML5, it's too time-consuming to check the gear score of a tank that has been annoying you... 

We have to press TAB and check all the high GS players, and then match the OP players nick with the GS. All that takes away precious seconds in a 7 min battle, which is essentially 5-6 min for players like me who don't have a great internet connection. Not to mention that pressing TAB opens a window that obstructs view.

Not only me but these two topics have people coming up with that claim as well.

Though I don't want all turrets and hulls to look the same irrespective of their modification, I really can't find any solid point to counter your arguments....

It seems you are unbeatable in debates... XD

However, converting all skins to the Ultra style seems pointless to me... then we should stop prizing skins, and not assign any value to cosmetics! This'll make Ultra containers an absolute waste of Tankoins or real money! 

I personally don't think that TO is "backward" if it doesn't try to "modernise" itself. The game is still pretty futuristic, and the skins of stock equipment too are cool. Making everything 3D would possibly contribute to lags, and would deteriorate the gaming experience for players who don't have perfect gaming tools. 

Do let me know if I got any point wrong, and please share your views!

Personally I don't like many Ultra skins, and the concept behind them seems off.

There are some nice looking M1 and M2 skins. I'd prefer them over many M3 skins.

And I think there should be a way to differentiate different modifications, either by infdicators, lights or non-painted metal colors.

If it's not affected by the boost/change then PRO battles could be a better option, at least until we run out of supplies.

I'll check if PRO Battles are affected or not tomorrow.

Only pro battles that are worth playing anymore are parkour. Rest are either one-sided or 5 hour long onslaughts.
