yes but i dont think their team broke any rules?

Nout was supposedly eliminated from the contest for violating the rule "You can't participate with alternate accounts," so why isn't Dynasty/Destin similarly eliminated from the contest for the same reason?

No, Nout was eliminated because his alt-accounts team broke the rules.

Edit: actually im not sure they keep chaning the rules anyways

Nout was forcibly removed from the team he was in, because he violated the rules of the contest. And not because there is a rule saying "You can't participate with alternate accounts".

In the General rules of the contest we said;

You can have a second team of low rank accounts (at the ranks of at least one level of equipment lower than the high accounts) in addition to a team of high rank accounts, but both teams must use different parkour tricks.

It seems that since Destin has Wasp Mk1, while Dynasty has Wasp Mk7, it fits the rules...

So you're telling me it's allowed for me to participate with both my Legend accounts? I don't think this should be the case...

Yes, but you have to be in different teams.

Honestly, I'm just trying to see how it could be justified by the organizers. I myself had wanted to participate using this rule, and had requested Amar to join my team from his low-ranked alt. But this rule is very vague, and Amar declined my request because he didn't want to risk getting disqualified.

If Dynasty is still participating, and the organizers know about his alts, then surely it's allowed. Destin must be using Wasp Mk1 definitely, otherwise he'll get disqualified.

yes, I think if you use something thats not lower equipment then its not allowed. Address also had mk1, but i  guess he used something mk7

@Venerable Any member who has a question about something that is un-clear for him, he could have contact the contest organizers to clarify

Yeah, I know, but thanks!

This was the first time that I was participating in such a team event, and I was very confused in the beginning. Well, things are clearer to me now.

Anyway, my "team" couldn't clear the first challenge, so we aren't participating. I'm just following this contest out of interest. So it doesn't really matter much if the rule is unclear to me... it matters more to those who are participating.

If you could explain the rule here, it would be great! However, I understand that you might have to look into each individual case differently, and I think that justifies the vagueness of the concerned rule. Only those who are being a part of another team using this rule should contact the organizers, if I understood correctly.

Thanks again!

If all the teams make challenge 6 in a couple of days, is there any chance that you will give challenge 7 earlier?

No, the next challenge will be published after challenge 6th's deadline. (so it will be after 23th, October 2020, 17:00 UTC+0)

I have read a lot of comments about the tricks being luck-based. However, I myself would have to argue that tricks are not exactly luck-based; you need to know what combination would allow you to get a certain height and velocity and then apply it using physics, therefore making it a quick thinking and physics-based contest over a luck-based contest.

Of course, there will be some who disagree. Because of this, I am thinking of making a newspaper article dissecting each and every challenge of the Parkour Survival Contest and determining whether the trick in question is luck-based or physics-based. Whenever the contest concludes, if someone could send be some unedited clips of their tricks, that would be highly appreciated. Thanks ?

Agreed, science wins. However, the only issue at hand is sometimes the science can be unclear. It's not pure physics problems after all... ?

it probably has history and math mixed with it

How about you create a team and try to do challenges , that way you yourself know if the tricks are lucked based or physics based? That will save you a lot of time.

Like the saying goes , " Easier said than done".

s = ut + (1/2)*a*t^2 if that helps

Science can never be unclear , its just we as humans lack tools that can help us determine things that we haven't found yet. Everything that happens in this world can be deduced scientifically.
