Glitching or cheating?

I've noticed a few really annoying things in the game recently and I'm wondering if they are known glitches or damn cheats.

First is a tank I hit with really low numbers with any turret, usually a viking, no protection module against me, no visible drone but I'm only doing 10-15% of the damage I should be. Change turret try again same result. Usually a low ranking player in the battle with a gear score in the 7000's

Next is Shaft's laser aiming off to one side of me by a couple of meters and then PEW I'm dead by shaft! How does that happen?

The health counter still doesn't seem to keep up with the damage to my tank. Trying to time my RK  against fire. . . . 3/4 health. . . . .1/2 health. . . . . . dead!

Lastly why do I always die of overheating 1 second before my RK becomes active? It's not the odd occasion, it's every frickin time!

Most of these issues are caused by lag. The shaft laser one definitely. Same thing happens with all turrets, but it's most visible with ones that have a "trace", like shaft, railgun, striker, rico.

As for repair kit and fire damage - just make sure you activate it in advance and don't wait till the last moment.

The damage thing is a bit strange, but my guess is that the player you were shooting was using a drone, which made their armour more effective, significantly reducing incoming damage. I know you said there was no visible drone, but who knows...

So the shaft thing is like railgun shooting through walls and isida killing me round corners?

I've looked at the drones and I can't find one that gives you 75% protection the entire game!

All of this stuff happens every day. I play about an hour a day.

20/20 Defender before the most recent nerf gave 75% protection. The new 20/20 Defender gives you 66% protection and can be used pretty much the entire battle. 

 

Are you using Flash? On Flash, you can't see the icon that signifies increased protection.

Through walls and around corners is lag.  The computer still thinks there is LOS or within range when it is not.

This is on HTML5 with really low ping and 60 fps so is it me lagging or them?

How about you record a video and send it, or post a screenshot of you shooting an enemy which shows the amount of damage you did

That would help a lot
